I caved and decided to replay the Bounty Hunter story again, this time with a male character. I’ve played it a long time ago, and I remember liking what I played of it~ BH’s a bit unique in the SWTOR Lightside/Darkside system in that you can be completely motivated by money, regardless of the morals behind it. Smuggler was similar, to an extent, but tended to lean more towards humor or some kind of personal payback instead of cash. The first chapter has the BH gear up for the Great Hunt, and using it to hunt down Tarro Blood, a bigshot Mandalorian who killed the crew that recruited you.
I remember that the Bounty Hunter story has a really good found family vibe tbh, and I love almost all of the companions. Except That One.
Anyways, this is Avarice, a Nightbrother from Dathomir. I have no idea how he ended up 3500 years in the past and becoming a bounty hunter, but we’re running with it. He’s mildly Force sensitive, but due to Nightsister restrictions on force-magicks, he’s never been anything better than a fantastic shot or good with weaponry. He’s initially wary of Mako, I think, due to how Nightsisters are, but she’s personable enough that he’s warming up to her fairly fast. He’s not exactly meek, no Nightbrother can be called that, but I do think he’s rather aware of his social strata, and the fact that he’s very out of his depth. Cautious, perhaps? The male Bounty Hunter’s voice is super deep, and a lot of the dialogue options are self assured or “Who Do You Need Dead”, so I’m curious how that’ll affect his character.
I’m planning on romancing Mako, if nothing else for the sake that I’ve never seen her romance! I did Torian’s romance back on Ky, and I remember liking it, so I’m hoping Mako’s romance is just as good. I really wish I could have him romance them both, though, ugh. Stupid Bioware.
