And Tumblr removed my description so here I am redoing that XD
Bu I found some mods for taking screenies and, well, down the rabbit hole I went XD And dear god due to how many verses I have I have so many Thancred ships, good lord XD I also made another verse with two friends of mine where us three get yeeted into the bodies of our PCs, so that last screenshot is not of Aribethe with short hair, it’s Alira Trelearan from that XD
(Also the picture of Houdini and Hien is from a separate verse from her normal one where she’s primary WOL, normally the dork is paired with Alphy. As for the picture with her and Mikoto, childhood friends and Houdini is VERY affectionate with pals X3)

FFxivWrite2020 day 11: Ultracrepidarian
@ffxiv-writers
Batster, as much as he loved his twin sister, really couldn’t understand why Houdini often ran her mouth on things she had no knowledge about, often having the thought. ‘I can’t believe my sister is a ultracrepidarian.’
She was running her mouth again, about something, he was pretty sure it was something regarding healing magic, and he just felt like sinking into his chair as she chatted with a fellow patron of the Drowning Wench.
As a scholar and black mage, he knew Houdini was utterly just making a fool of herself, but wasn’t sure he should say anything. Fortunately, he was saved the issue of correcting his sister.
Another miqo’te, with long dark brown hair tipped with pink and brown eyes narrowed, walked over to the twins from her spot sat to an au ra, both were seemingly white mages judging by their outfits and canes.
She leaned against the table, before beginning to, in detail, begin to explain healing magic, correcting Houdini as she stared, dumbfounded.
Batster merely smiled into his mug and listened.

FFxivWrite2020 day 21: Foibles
@ffxiv-writers
“you know Hous, despite all your foibles, I still love you.” Batster said one day as he and his sister traveled through the north shroud.
She squinted over at him, green eyes narrowed. “What’s foibles?”
Resisting the ever present urge to smack her upside the head he responded, laughing. “If you don’t know what that means, Fat Marge, I can’t help you.”
“There you go again! You never tell me what any of those weird words you learned while studying mean and I’m left in the dark!” She whined, crossing her arms. “And my name is not Fat Marge!”
“It’s a nickname, you dingus.” He reached over and flicked her nose, making her gape at him with her ears and tail sticking straight up.
He was quick to bolt away, laughing as she swiftly gave chase with an indignant screech.
As much as he gave her a hard time and used that nickname he often called her when they were kits, he still loved his sister, and would flay alive anyone who dared insult or hurt her.

FFxivWrite2020 day 18: Panglossian
@ffxiv-writers
A bundle of sunshine Batster often remembered his adoptive mother affectionately calling Houdini, though she also got her name because she kept escaping the bedroom he shared with her somehow.
However, that excessive optimism never escaped her as she grew up, and when he reunited with her in the depths of Tam-Tara Deepcroft it showed abundantly clear.
“Ah, I wouldn’t worry Wildy, my brother’s here and we both have taken out any of the nasties that’ve come our way!” She grinned up at the Au ra lancer accompanying her, the man taller and bigger than she was tall and seemingly adjusted to her energy. “We’ll get out of this alive!”
Batster gave her a utterly flat look before walking over and bopping her on the forehead with his book, ignoring the indignant yelp that escaped her.

FFxivWrite2020 day 29: Paternal
@ffxiv-writers
Batster couldn’t help but wonder sometimes who his and his sister’s birth parents were, having been left on their mother’s doorstep when they were mere kits. He and his sister never had any paternal figure in their lives due to their mother never having much interest in finding a lover (though looking back he could see she was just afraid of trusting anyone with her heart again), sure he supposed uncle Jackson and Schultz could fit that, they were miqo’tes too to boot, but he didn’t see them very often enough growing up to form that sort of bond.
They were travelers, so of course they couldn’t visit very often, and his hyur mother ran herself ragged trying to support not only herself but him and his sister so she didn’t have time to go visit her uncles.
Growling under his breath, Batster ran a hand through his hair, silently thinking that if he did ever come across his birth parents, he’d give them a right scolding for what they put his mother through.

FFxivWrite2020 day 24: Beam
@ffxiv-writers
Nathyrra let the energy build in her wand until she let the fire spell fly, it almost looked like a beam as it flew before hitting her target.
The hornet was burned to death on impact and Nathyrra felt her expression quirk a little, she didn’t know she put that much energy into her spell.
“Well, you sure are talented miss!” She jumped at the voice and turned to see a male miqo’te walking up. His hair and tail, along with ears, were pitch black and his olive green eyes sparked in curiosity. His attire signaled to the viera he was a scholar, the book on his belt more than a confirmation.
“Thank you, though I’ve only just begun to learn how to use my talents.” She chuckled, rubbing at her head as he peered up at her.
“Well, either way, you’ve got a talent for thaumaturgy.” He grinned.

FFxivWrite2020 day 16: Lucubration
@ffxiv-writers
Batster knew he was luckier than most, being able to study to become arcanist and then scholar, that being after he studied hard and intensively for a couple years as a thaumaturge to become an accomplished black mage. Not many would put so many years of their life into studying one occupation, let alone two like he did.
The sixteen year old miqo’te had accomplished much in his short lifespan, and even still he felt a desire to learn more skills, more talents. Why stop with just what he knew? There was always something new he could learn, or discover even!
With that thought in mind, he plotted his next destination, to Ishgard to learn the skills offered there.
Perhaps the way of astrologyns would tickle his fancy? Or machinist would draw him in? He found himself excited to find out what he might find in store there, ears wiggling with glee and tail lashing in excitement.

FFxivWrite2020 day 22: Argy-Bargy
@ffxiv-writers
Batster’s ears perked up at the loud and noisy sounds of a scuffle behind him as he was checking his map, making him peer on his shoulder before facepalming at the sight.
Houdini for whatever reason was wrestling with their group’s resident Hrothgar Geri, and for all her kicking and flailing it seemed she was losing the wrestling match.
“BATSTER!” She shrilled out, making him lift his face with a raised eyebrow as she continued. “Help your sister out here!”
“Oi! That’s no fair little miss light feet!” Geri yelled as she kicked at his chin, jolting back to avoid a hard heel hitting his face.
Batster could only put his face in his hands and let out a loud guffaw at the weird quarreling happening behind him.
