as the man sat in the car he felt his nerves grow and felt like he was going to be sick. it was silly to be this worked up over it all but he couldn't help it. what if landon found out about his family and decided it was too much? they could be very bad people and had done very bad things. his brother had to be the worst of the bunch and he knew it wouldn't be long for him to let his true colors show. "i am worried about them." he confessed, "it isn't even the stories, trust me the only stories you are going to hear is how much of a  disappointment i am that i didnt help with the family business." a soft almost sarcastic laugh fell from his lips. "i just need you to promise me something." he shifted in the drivers seat and took landon's hand. his fingers nervously moved over the mans palm. "just promise me that no matter what you find out or what you hear that you aren't going to leave me.. that you aren't going to let my folks split us up." his brother had ruined every single relationship he had ever had that he had just stopped dating until he had met landon. "they aren't the....best people." he kept it simple not giving too much away. "they have a lot of people who don't like them and there is a reason i don't really have too much to do with them."

Well, it only took a lightly veiled threat of a voicemail to FINALLY get him to text her back. To speak to her in some way. Nearly two weeks of this- tension. Ever since that night he'd sown up to her penthouse, and she woke up alone the next morning, Landon had been treating Alice like nothing had happened between them. Like they were near strangers. It was taking a toll, because the blonde didn't know what she'd done wrong, and it was leaking into shooting days. Takes were awkward, and he would barely look her in the eye and it all finally came to a head when she'd attempted one last time to call him and she was pushed right to voicemail. If you don't call me back in the next hour I walk. That was the gist of her message, and she had been serious. It was going to be impossible to put the finishing touches on this film that otherwise had gone off with out a hitch if they couldn't even be in the same room as one another. Meet at his place and he'd explain. Fine. She could work with that. Alice had a stock pile of comeback's ready too, for what he might try and tell her. That their fun was over, that they never should have slept together in the first place, yadda yadda. That's what she was fully expecting from this interaction. She rehearsed them in the Uber ride over to his home, and ever the punctual person she was she even got there a few minutes before eight. She thanked and paid her driver, who quickly sped off and she headed up to the front door of his home. She'd not been before and she took a moment to just admire it. Probably would be the last time she saw it anyway right? Perhaps it was time to start putting her acting skills to work for when it came time for press tours and premieres.

But the thing was? Eight o'clock came and went. She knocked, because maybe he'd fallen asleep or something? She tried to call again, tried texting but Landon never answered either thing. She triple checked the address he'd sent her, and yes, she was at the right place. Tried peering into the windows but all the blinds were down, and it wasn't like she could tell if his car was here because the garage was closed too. So...where the hell was he? Anger hit her before any sort of worry, pissed that she'd come all the way out here in LA traffic to be stood up, AGAIN! This, this was him explaining things wasn't it? That there was nothing here, nothing between them. That night she'd been too caught up in her own feelings to realize what it had actually been. Poetically? Thunder rumbled in the distance before it started raining, the heavens literally opening up on the blonde and she had to let out the humorless laugh that bubbled up her throat, or else she would start crying. If that's how this was going to be, then so be it. Alice would put her big girl pants on and finish this movie, play pretend that things were okay. She'd be the bigger person here and when it was all over she'd not work for Landon Wynter again. She'd waited two hours too long before ordering another Uber to take her home. @wynterlanding / from here

Tell me about the triple chain? Do you have several equivalents of each hero in one chain or are there three separate ones traveling through time?

Three separate chains traveling through time, all with unique heroes!

The "Main Chain" is just the chain in LinkedUniverse as it stands: Time, Twilight, Warriors, Hyrule, Legend, Four, Wind, Wild, and Sky.

"Chain 2" is really only called a "chain" in the loosest sense considering there's only one person named Link, but it's named the same for consistency. Tri, Tre, Trois, Cly, Apri, Rhythm(the only Link), Skid, Yves, Trill, Horse, and Cent make up the team. Initially the Tri-Force Trio, Cly, and Apri were one team (though Cly was a later addition because he went through a portal and gained sentience, oops), with Rhythm, Skid, Yves, and Trill being another. Cent tagged along with the first group out of interest in Cly, and Horse joined last cause they needed a horse and Tre made friends with her =)

"Chain C" was the original nickname for the last group, cause "c stands for many things; canon(Spirits), cartoon, CDi, cereal--" and it wasn't supposed to be a thing at first. until I made Spoons to spite my friend and then let things expand from there. Shields, Spoons, Koridai, Peter Pancho III, Rus, Holpar, Spirits, Landon, and Riptide are part of the team. Chain C formed in duos: Shields & Spoons, Koridai & Peter Pancho III, Rus & Holpar, and Spirits & Landon. Riptide was already Spirits's companion seagull and probably knows how to drive the train. They all end up meeting in New Hyrule, joining one duo at a time to ride the train, and work together to defend it from an attack.

The closest there are to equivalents of the same hero are the members that are technically based on a Link with a pre-existing counterpart (mostly Rus, Spoons, and Holpar, but also Tre and Spirits to an extent depending on how much you consider TFH and ST canon to Legend and Wind)

Eventually they're all gonna meet up. one of these days. whenever I get around to writing it or drawing it @~@

Mekhi stabs the end of her surf board into the sand with a slight crunch. She pushes her sunglasses up off her eyes and onto her head, sending her swamp witch-like hair away from her face in a cartoonish way. It looks a bit like she's been zapped by electricity. Though she was born and bred on the beach, she'll never get along with the salty air and the humidity.

"You're lucky you asked me to take you out here, 'cause none of the other lifeguards would have had the cajones to rip through the caution tape," she says, bookending her words with a snicker. "Water rescue said she looked all bloated, like an overstuffed turkey, even though she apparently only drowned, like, five minutes before they found her. News crews were out here and everything. It was bananas. This one lifeguard who was supposed to be on post here got hella fired. I feel bad for him, but... He should'a been paying attention." Ironic, because she's also missing from her post right now, but she struck up a deal with Matt to watch her portion of the blue.

She folds her arms, looking out into the waves crashing along the shore, then letting out a pseudo-dramatic sigh. Then, she gives the man a sharp glance. "What'd you say your name was again? Yeah. I don't mean to rush you or anything, but my lunch break's coming up and I'd love the $20 to buy some shrimp tacos at Shelly's."

The fact that Landon seemed nervous made a small smirk come to Kol's face, he was very much aware that the boy was believed to be impossible to kill. That meant that he was more than likely nervous about making a good impression, which he could respect to an extent. “Oh she could, she's likely to leave you alive though.”

He leaned forward in the chair he was in, his elbows resting on his knees. He gave him a smile that was somewhere between amused and threatening. “But as long as you don't do anything stupid we won't have to put whether she'd stop me to the test.” Not that it would take much for Hope to stop him, she knew well enough that all it would take was either a call to Davina or that look she gave him when he was upset that snuffed out his annoyance or anger.

“not safe to be wanderin’ around this late.” he mutters as he steps out from only 24 hour store for a good chunk of miles. he holds a six pack in his left hand, bag full of snacks in the other. it’d be a late night at the post office, new hire had fucked up the route and landon was left to clean up the mess, re-delivering the towns post for the day. the heat had surely gotten to him, but maybe it was the lure of centralia making him go mad... nonetheless he walked with eyes peering behind his shoulder and goosebumps along his exposed legs. that’s when he spots the blonde hair, his head cocks and narrows his gaze. “ever hear ‘bout the boogie man? heard he’s been seen around these parts.” he teases with a soft grin.
