some Dusknoir and Celebi headcanons lets go

- Celebi didn’t fully trust Dusknoir as quickly as Grovyle but was still willing to give him a chance after everything on Vast Ice Mountain went down

- Celebi is often the Responsible One of the trio but sometimes she and Dusknoir share one braincell and do stupid (and potentially dangerous) shit for fun together. Do you know the shopping cart vine? Something in that fashion.

- Talking about Celebi being the responsible friend, she is usually the one to take care of the team’s injuries with her healing powers and knowledge about various seeds and berries. Dusknoir is the most reckless in dungeons because he’s very confident in his skills and protective of Grovyle and Celebi which often results in him taking a blow for them. Celebi scolds him sometimes when patching him up after he got beaten over in his over-confidence, but she’s never geniuenly angry, just concerned.

- The two like to tease or make fun of each other. Insults are occasionally thrown but it’s always in light-hearted fun.

- When Dusknoir is lying around sleeping Celebi likes to just. Rest on him because compared to her he’s like the size of a bed. He only notices it when Celebi falls asleep on him and he wakes up before her, and he doesn’t mind it.

- The two eventually get together with Grovyle and the relationship strenghtens their bond. At one point they also develop romantic feelings towards each other and get together as well (I feel like this one is rlly self-indulgent because I don’t get the impression many ppl ship Dusknoir and Celebi with each other but oh well).

- (tw death) This one is very angsty but I’ve pointed out before that Celebi is likely immortal. As for Dusknoir, while I don’t think all ghost types are immortal, they can get pretty old. Either way, seeing how Grovyle is normally mortal and a pure grass type, living all his life in the dark future screwed not only him but also his ancestors up and shortened their life span significantly. While he is able to kinda recover, he still doesn’t get too old with these circumstances. Celebi and Dusknoir are very shaken up about his loss when it happens, but they help each other through it and appreciate each others company even more. The harder it hits Celebi once Dusknoir is gone too and she even considers contacting a higher legendary like Dialga or Arceus to ask them to grant her mortality because the concept of living for eternity after having spent her life around mortal Pokemon screws with her.
