CreativeMornings İzmir'de bu ay "(Esnek) Dirençlilik" temasında permakültür tasarımcısı Iraz Candaş’ı konuk ettik.  🌱

MAY'S THEME IS RESILIENT
To be resilient is to be adaptable. It’s a way of being that’s flexible and alive, bouncing with the stuff of survival: learning, evolving, and intertwining our roots to share resources and to create a strong anchor of collective care. Like trees in a storm, it means swaying instead of snapping.
Persevering in the face of hardship and heartbreak is not easy, to say the least. “I think of resilience as the strength and speed of our response to adversity,” says Adam Grant, psychologist and co-author of Option B, a book about resilience. To heal, to grieve, to bend but not break? It requires time and dedication to build these muscles of resilience. “It’s a skill set we work on throughout our lives.”
Whether for your life, community, or planet, consider this:
What can you do today to help build strength and ease for the future?
CreativeMornings/Dallas chose May’s Resilient theme, and Niki Dionne made the accompanying illustration.

TEMA DO MÊS: RESILIÊNCIA
Tumblr media

. . 12 de Maio - 08h30 às 10h - Resiliência : Mulheres Indígenas no Cinema Evento Virtual - Via ZOOM

Take 5 with CM/ATL May 2021 Speaker, Ron Hsu
We're so excited to have Ron Hsu as this month's speaker, and we can't wait to hear him share his personal take on May's theme of RESILIENT.
But we've still got a couple weeks before the big event (don't forget to register here to join us May 28)! So before he takes the virtual CreativeMornings Atlanta stage, we wanted to ask Chef Ron five quick questions to help everybody get to know him better.
1. What does the theme of RESILIENT mean to you?
Resiliency spans a wide range of areas for a business and member of society. Everything fails in life, and resiliency is the one quality that will determine if you prevail or fail.
2. What's your favorite spot in Atlanta and why?
My home. It's my balance in life.
3. What’s one fun fact about you?
My left eyebrow is crooked.
4. What have you really been into lately? It can be a book, film, podcast, etc.
The TV show "Ted Lasso." It's just a feel-good story about persevering and treating people right.
5. What’s something your friends would want other people to know about you?
My friends have called me sneaky nice, meaning I do nice things for people without them knowing.

May's theme is #CMresilient. It was chosen by @creativemorningsdallas_ and illustrated by Niki Dionne @actualfootageofme. As we sometimes do, we’re spicing things up and teamed up for our May event with CM Prague. What better way to introduce the theme of May – #RESILIENT than by joining forces.
Save the date for Friday, May 28th, 2021 at 8:30 am. We’ll be back again soon with more details. ⠀ #munichiscreative #creativemornings #resilient #bestrong — view on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/p/COscE0HBANd/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
