█ I Do-Oh my! A marriage proposal already? My muse is married to yours!

█ This was certainly a predicament he has gotten himself into. Not only was he married to Anri already, but it seemed Ace had managed to get himself married to another person. That person, or at least to his knowledge she was a person, was Chii-- the innocent girl who had rescued a litter of puppies from a couple of scumbags.

Was he conscious when this happen? When exactly did the whole marriage thing took place? Why did they agree?

He hadn't the faintest clue.

Now here he was, married to another person who he wasn't entirely familiar with either. The only things he knew about her was her name and love for animals. Besides that, nothing else. She seemed very innocent and naive, however. Was she even know what marriage was about? What the actual word means? "Hey, Chii... Not that I wouldn't mind being married to you or anything but.... Do you know what being married means? Wouldn't want to get you into situations you wouldn't like. I can't do that to someone like you, Chii." She deserved someone who brought her happiness, not someone who was wanted by the whole world-- not someone who doubted his own existence.

「一千年以后」After A Thousand Years | Hotaru & Chii

「因为在一千年以后，世界早已没有我； 无法深情挽着你的手，浅吻着你额头。 别等到一千年以后，所有人都遗忘了我； 那时红色黄昏的沙漠，能有谁 解开缠绕前年的寂寞？」

          Autumn was the season where everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale before winter came around sending everything into a deep slumber.

          He loved the Autumn.

          The scenery exploded in shades of red and orange before him as he strolled through the town's park, the water glistening as it reflected streaks of light, it's tranquility providing the dragon with a sense of peace as he walked on.

          Peace...and loneliness. The dragon was overwhelmed by a sense of forlornness -- perhaps it was one of the things that came with adulthood, the need for a mate, a companion of his own. Crimson hues glossed over with wistfulness as he watched couples, young and old alike entwine their fingers together, their tender, loving caresses and heard their whispers of sweet nothings.

While dragons were creatures with lengthy lifespans, it wasn't rare to hear that they died alone without finding their lifemates. In fact, it was a common occurrence for him and his brethren to live their long lives without their special someone, and at that very thought, Hotaru was overcome by a sense of desolation.

          Standing beneath a large apple tree whose umbrella of leaves loomed over him, shading him from the sun, Hotaru gazed at dolefully at the quiet lake that rippled from being teased by the evening breeze.

          Will I ever find her?

Chii stared at the large school before her, wondering if anyone here will accept her. But then again, she also wondered if she would eventually find her someone just for her. With a wary expression upon her face, she slowly headed into the large school campus.

Welcome Chii, you have chosen the best and richest school around. Not only will you be dazzled with our sophistication and beautiful gardens, but here at Ouran, you will create a future that none other can match. Generations of families have attended and worked at our prestigious school and never once were they let down. You, young miss, have chosen the best choice and with our education and resources in the fine arts, you will not be let down.

     Chii didn't know what had happened. He was right there and then... he was gone. Where did he go? Her fingers reached out where he had stood moments ago. "Chi... aki...?" she whispered. His warmth, his being, his smile, where did it go? Where did he go? The question kept echoing in her mind, not really comprehending what on earth had just happened. He had just been smiling at her, holding her close to him just before she got up to retrieve something he had asked her to get for him. Her eyes slowly widened as she began to look frantically around for the male. Where...?

     Her voice began to escalate in pitch as she began to call his name, began to call out for him. The pain in her chest was too much. She missed him — why did he leave? Why did he leave her behind? Why would her special someone leave her? Why would —

     "Chiaki!" she screamed as she shot up sitting in bed.

     His arms wrapped themselves around her and instantly held her close, pulling her toward his chest. "I'm right here — don't cry. I'm right here..."

    Her hands went up to touch his arms before she squeezed them, feeling the tears beginning to stream down her cheeks. She could feel him lean in to nuzzle her neck, his one arm wrapped around her torso. Did she have a nightmare? What dream was she having that made her scream his name?

     "I'm right here." She only turned where she sat to face him, wrapping her arms around his torso. Once more, he couldn't help but enjoy the gentleness and warmth her body offered, feeling and welcoming the feminine qualities that differed from his own physique. But her body shook, and he became aware that she probably wasn't even aware that she was doing such a thing. He gave her a gentle squeeze, burying his face into the crook of her neck.

     She clung to him, glad he had not disappeared. Was it a dream? Did it foretell of something that was coming? No... it couldn't. Chiaki was to be her forever, he was her someone just for her. She never wanted to let him go. Whenever she was alone, she only thought about him, and when she'd be able to see him again. Even more, her chest hurt when she wasn't with him. She didn't understand the meaning of what it was to be selfish, but she knew better then to be able to monopolize the male to herself. She could never ask him to remain at her side forever — she didn't have the heart to.

     "Hey, hey," he began, pulling her up so that her eyes connected with his. Oh, how he'd never stop looking into those beautiful eyes of hers. "I'm right here, all right? I'll never leave you." His hands held both sides of her face so that she would not be able to look away.

     "R-Really?" she whispered. Even now, she still remained like that child-like girl that he had met their very first day, even if it was a bit unfortunate of an accident. "Chiaki will never leave Chii...?"

     What a bitter word that he had to carelessly say. He didn't want to think it, not at this very moment, that he might have to. The thought of leaving her behind, the thought of never being able to touch her or hear her laugh or to even see her smile like that toward him made his chest ache with a pain he didn't know he could feel. He... he loved her far too much to let such things happen, to let her go now that he's finally ensnared her in his grasp. "No... Not if I can help it," he whispered hoarsely as he gently squeezed her closer to him. Oh, how far he's fallen for a girl like her, he'll never know, but as far as he knew, she was his and he was hers. He never wanted to let her go as for as long as he could.

     A small smile appeared then as she touched his lips then, and then cupped his cheek. "Chiaki is special to Chii... you're my special someone." Chii has never felt so happy before, even from the memories that she had managed to remember. He had completed her in a way that only made her heart swell with joy. Finally, she's found her someone just for her, finally she had gotten and fulfilled the wish that she had wished for so long ago.

     "And you are mine," he managed to smile before closing the remaining space. Ah... never, did he want to part from her, never did he want to let go of these slender and kind girl's arms. Never did he want to break her heart, not as long as he could help it. He would cherish her for as long as he possibly could because he's finally fallen in love.
