I'm doing a Pokemon Sword Nuzlocke, and decided to document my progress on tumblr for all to see. Idk why, but I think it will be fun and very funny. If you're not interested in seeing this, feel free to block the tag #Curi's Nuzlocke Adventures

In case you don't know what a Nuzlocke is, I'll summarize it here!

A Nuzlocke is a game of pokemon played with a set of rules to make things more difficult, and in my opinion, much more entertaining! There are 3 main rules to follow in a Nuzlocke but I like to make things a bit more challenging for myself so I've added a few of my own rules. The rules are stated below!

Main Rule 1.)

You can only catch the first pokemon you run into in each new area of the game. Though, since a lot of the pokemon in this game you can see in the grass, I'm adding extra challenge that you can only catch pokemon you can't visibly see in the grass. This means if a pokemon chases you or you physically bump into its sprite, you can't catch it. These don't count towards your first encounters either!

Main Rule 2.)

When your pokemon faints, it dies and you can never use it again. This allows you to effectively "lose" a Nuzlocke, as you will run out of pokemon you can use.

Main Rule 3.)

You have to nickname all of the pokemon you catch as to promote attachments and make it more emotional painful when they die.

(That's the purpose of the rule, but of course it's not a guarantee you'll get emotionally attached, so don't feel bad/feel like you can't do a Nuzlocke if this doesn't effect you that way! :] )

Now.. here are my Extra Hard Challenge Rules!!! Feel free to do this in your Nuzlockes too if you want! These aren't original to me probably lol.

1.) I will not use any items except for healing stuff and items for trade evolving.

2.) I'm not using Lengendary or Mythical pokemon in this run!

3.) No Flying or Teleporting

4.) No leaving pokemon in the Nursery

5.) No owning repeat kinds of pokemon. As in, if I've already caught a Pikachu, I can't catch another one.

6.) If my starter pokemon dies I have to start all over.

Now with all that out of the way.. Let's begin our journey!!
