BIFF 37 TAG 5 – TRÄNEN AM NORDPOL UND NÄCHTLICHE KURZFILME

Am 5. Tag des Braunschweig International Film Festivals beginnt der Tag erneut mit einem Cappuccino in der Kult-Location “Café Zeit”. Daraufhin wandere ich durch den kalten Wind die Straße hinunter zum Universum Kino, wo mir sehr schnell warm ums Herz wird. Heute gibt es Tränen am Nordpol und Nächtliche Kurzfilme.

Hi. I am half black and half white. Though I grew up in a catholic home, I am a practicing Buddhist. Tibetan Buddhism has very heavy Hindu influences, and so Ganesha and Aum mean a lot to me. I was thinking about getting them tattooed as a reminder of my spirituality. Would others still consider it appropriation because I am not Asian or Indian? Thank you.
