Are Frinie and Bee accepting hugs, because I would like to deliver
Frinie looks to Bee, who smiles after a few seconds and nods.
Frinie: Sure! I don't mind a nice hug sometimes!
It's Beatrice that moves first, though, and she pulls you into a nice, solid, cold-warm hug along with Frinie.

did a random generator for the writing prompt thing! 67, packing peanuts! I feel like this could b fun w/any of ur characters hehe >:3c
Sorry for the wait!! But this was.. Cute. ;;
When Bee pulls the item out of the package, a small barrage of white items falls out along with it. Frinie watches one as it practically flutters to the ground, making haphazard shapes in the air as it goes. Curiously, Frinie walks closer and crouches down to pick the small piece up.
It seems almost lighter than air, and as she carefully tries to roll it into the palm of her hand it flinches and bounces. She tightens her fist to hold it still - only to feel it collapse on itself with a snapping crinkle. She opens her hand again, tries to drop the little object - only to find it clinging to her hand, refusing to budge no matter how hard she shakes.
Bee laughs - and as Frinie looks up to ask what's so funny, she finds Bee standing above her with the box held in her hands. Before Frinie can ask anything, Bee upends the box - sending a veritable storm of those same little white pieces raining down into Frinie. Some stick to her as they tumble past, clinging to her hair and clothing just like the one has clung to her hand.
Frinie bats at the items - out of instinct rather than any real concern - and sputters up at her mate. Bee has dropped the box, and she's got a hand over her mouth as her eyes well up in laughter. Frinie huffs - though at the sight, she feels little else but a swell of adoration.
Bee doesn't laugh nearly enough anymore.
"What are these things?" Frinie asks as she stands. She tries, once again in vain, to brush away some of the strange little objects - but they only cling to her stronger, some jumping to her arms.
"Packing peanuts," Bee answers, even as she still chuckles, "we use them to help keep fragile things safe in transport. They're just little bits of styrofoam - harmless, but kinda like glitter they get just about anywhere."
"I see," Frinie says. She pulls a packing peanut off with her fingers, then reaches over to press it against the end of Bee's nose. When it actually sticks, Frinie beams.
"They're fun," she says.
"Sure," Bee replies, still smiling herself, "We'll see how fun it is when you find one in your hair in a week."
"At least I'll know who to blame."
"But you won't."
And with a grin, Frinie pulls Bee to her - suddenly enough that the human squeaks, which always sends a fresh flutter to Frinie's gut.
"True enough - it must be those big, pretty eyes of yours."
Bee blushes, but before she can retort, Frinie draws her closer still and presses their lips together. Any possible seriousness of the moment is removed, though, as the packing peanut squishes between them, and they both start laughing all over again.

7 and 18 for Bea and Frinnie, please!
7.) 'What’s the first thing that changes when they realize they have feelings for the other?'
It hits Frinie like a truck, kind of all at once in this rush of just pure understanding of her own feelings. It happens quickly, too - Frinie goes from just sort of knowing that Yellow is a crewmate who exists, to wanting to make sure Bee is safe above all else.
Bee has a similar moment wherein 'Purple' goes from just being a team member, to being someone Bee wants to be around a lot more often. When she first really realizes she'd developed feelings for Frinie, there's a day or two where Bee actually sort of shies away. She's afraid of her own feelings and also afraid of coming off as too clingy - but Frinie doesn't let this go on for very long, because she notices Bee's absence immediately. This leads to their shared confessions.
18.) 'Who leaves little notes in the other’s one lunch? (Bonus: what does it usually say?)'
They'd 100% do it to each other. I think totally by coincidence the first time, too. They both think of it separately, and once they find the notes, both have to just take a second because they're overwhelmed by both the notes and the fact that they both thought of this.
As for what the notes say? It becomes a sort of running joke between them. The notes are just progressively silly/cliche ways to say 'I love you' as they sort of compete to see who can say it the silliest.

Frinie do you think you'd ever consider being a streamer? It seems like something you might enjoy.
There's a muted discussion between Frinie and Bee - which is quite obviously her asking about the term. Finally, she pulls away from Bee with a blink.
Frinie: I...hadn't considered that, actually. It's a good idea though - from the sounds of it you don't exactly need qualifications or papers to do it. And I do enjoy video games. I'll have to look into this!

As an update to the first image, I’ve drawn out a few more of the squad! All five of these folks are human.  Davis (Green) and Robin (Blue), who I’ve talked about before - the dumb squad, who have unfortunately also become my ‘bad things happen to’ fodder. Davis is louder, while Robin is a little more tame - but they tend to feed off of each other’s energy and share a singular braincell.  Beatrice (AKA Bee, or Yellow) - Frinie/Imp-Purple’s human girlfriend. Very smart, especially engineering minded - but timid and traumatized by what she’s seen of Impostor activity.  Hazel (Tan) - Kind of thinks he’s hot shit, and thinks he ought to be more in charge than he is. The HTBY Tan - generally head of security. Prone to quick accusations and overall not a very pleasant person to be around.  Noel (Non-Impostor Black) - the Black of HTBY. Also friends with White (AKA Thom), and theoretically forms a platonic thruple with Thom (white) and Johanna (Lime). If all three are ever in a single story together, anyway. Noel is a fairly serious and competent person - always sure to get their tasks done. With White, they are definitely one of the two crewmates Addison trusts the most.
These guys are mostly important in current going-ons in HTBY, but kind of like the others will usually be the characters I’m thinking about when I use their colors.
As a side note…this is my first finished GIMP piece using my tablet. I gotta say, I’m a fan of how the colors come out. :)

What's everyone's favorite type of media (shows, books, movies, games, etc)? and what genres?
Skitch: 🖐️ I've gotten really attached to a few types of human television programs. I really enjoy cooking shows - and also those shows where humans go around trying to pick out a home. I'm not entirely sure why - but I guess I enjoy both getting to see snippets of human life, and also the curiosity of seeing new things. What sort of meals will they make? Who will win? What kind of home will they pick? It's all very interesting - but they're also shows I find calming to watch. Low stakes, simple, you know. 👍
Jamie: I can take responsibility for that, I think - these are my favorite shows to watch, too. I don't know if I'd say TV shows are my favorite media - but I'm also not entirely sure what I'd say /is/. TV is up there, and of course I like music too. So I guess I'd stick with a similar answer to Skitch.
Trep: I have a difficult time with media in general. Sitting and focusing on things isn't so much my style - I prefer to be doing. Walking, hunting, active things. Puzzles aren't awful, I suppose - whether digital video games or otherwise. They have to be especially difficult, though - else they just won't hold my attention. Which has always been true - this isn't an issue specific to Earth or humans.
Addison: I enjoy reading.
Trep: Reading…?
Addison: ...I enjoy reading romance novels. Frankly, the cheesier they are the better. It's just simple reading, makes it easy to unwind. I don't particularly care about the subgenre, though - I'll give most romance novels a try.
Frinie: Bee introduced me to video games, and now we play them together a lot! I think they're really fun - I actually like playing online games. Especially the kind where you're fighting other people, you know?
Bee: And I really like platformers and roleplayers - and also just watching Frinie play. She really gets into it and honestly it's kind of funny to see.
Keet: I don't care for much. Music is alright, I guess - although I like our own kind. Difficult to put that into a genre you'd understand, I guess. There's also this computer on Polus - it has an old human game called Pong on it. I've got the high score - so I don't mind that so much. It's really simple, but fun.

hi frinie! what about bee do you like most? :3
Frinie gives a rather soft smile at that, as if even thinking on it melts her.
Frinie: There's a lot to like. She's nice, and she's kind, and she's beautiful, and she has a really big heart - but she's also so damn intelligent. You wouldn't know it at a glance, 'cause she's shy - but if she trusts you, and you get her talking about engineering or insects, or anything else she likes - she can talk about it for ages. It's incredible the things she knows - and watching her light up in excitement - it's contagious. I could listen to her talk forever.
Beatrice, who is absolutely in hearing range, has her head buried deep into her hands and has gone so red you can see it all along her neck.

Frinie and Keet! What's the story behind the murders that got you sent to Polus?
Keet: Mine wasn't murder - no matter what the Authority wants to say on the matter. I had a fellow trainee who was an absolute ass - they had a big mouth, and there wasn't a single Impostor around who didn't hate their guts. So I told them that they'd better shut their mouth, or I'd shut it for them. I was doing everyone a favor, really. Well, they didn't take that well, and we got in a fight. It's not my fault they lost - and it's definitely not my fault that they succumbed to their injuries. Pro tip, if you're weak, don't challenge people. Especially not me.
Frinie: *she looks away awkwardly and rubs the back of her neck* Mine was, ah…Well. Polus was actually my third assignment! And that's where I met Bee - uh, Beatrice. Yellow. My first assignment didn't go…great. But since I stayed out of my partner's way and was a good hand at sabotage, I was given a sort of second chance. My second assignment was on this cargo class vessel - it was called the Haul. They're big ships, with big crews, and so there were three of us - the other two Impostors were more senior Infiltrators. But…I liked that crew. A lot. They all more or less knew each other, so they were close - and they pulled us into that fold right away. They were over all really kind, and accommodating - and I knew I wouldn't be able to kill them. My first mission hadn't been a fluke - I'm just. Not a killer, I guess. That happens, and although you'll be removed from the infiltrator ranks, that alone isn't really a punishable offense. As long as you don't interfere with your partners. And I didn't - at first. But…then they killed Brown. And I'd spent a lot of time talking to Brown. She was young, green - she was so worried about being a nuisance, so she always worked harder than anyone. It wasn't the sort of connection I have with Bee, but…it might have been close. Brown was my friend. So when they killed her, I just - I couldn't. I attacked them. Landed a lucky blow on White. Better for me, really - he'd been the more vicious of the two. Green didn't kill me in revenge, instead she subdued me. Ruined the Haul's reactor, stuffed us in an escape ship, and hauled me back to our planet. I saw the Haul blow from the windows of that ship…anyway. Murder is a serious offense, and after that, I was assigned to Polus.

🖊 for beatrice?
Beatrice loves insects - it's part of the reason Frinie calls her 'Bee.' Her favorites are beetles, though! The bigger and more colorful, the better. Polus actually has some native life, although so far as anyone knows nothing like humans or imps - that being said, one of Beatrice's and Frinie's first interactions was when Frinie found Beatrice watching a Polus beetle with absolute fascination. Too distracted to be closed off, Beatrice went into one of her first rambles - and their fate was sealed.

6 and 84 for the Tropes Mashup
(Bookshop AU + Married to the Job)
I think I'd go just full soft for this Mashup.
Character A (A) is the owner of a small bookshop. Maybe it's just them and like two other employees. Character B (B) is someone with a serious job who works long, long hours. I think I'd give them a more serious reason for it, too - they don't really have any relationships (familial, friends, or otherwise), so they have worked a lot for years because the alternative is being home alone with their thoughts and they just don't really understand how to solve that except keeping themself busy with something they know.
They meet by chance - maybe B just happens into the bookshop once on a rare day off, or during a break. Something about the shop drew their attention, and they just had to check it out. Maybe I'd be a bit indulgent, make it a sort of adoration (not necessarily love, although I'd probably make it romantic) at first sight between A and B, but especially on B's end. So they keep coming back, a little more and a little longer each time, and A helps them learn to enjoy the quiet moments in life a little more one book and beanbag at a time.
Out of my own OC's, I'm not sure who'd fit this the best. This could be a cute Frinie/Bee story - or maybe I'd dig through my vault of older OC's and find someone there.

So to the imps living on earth: do you work any jobs? Or does mira sort of cover you for a good while?
Skitch: 👋 I believe Trep and I are similar - as far as MIRA knows, we're employees the same as anyone else. Jamie and I still work with MIRA, so that is plenty of funds to support us and Toby. And then some, honestly. So long as we are in their employee we receive bimonthly checks. When not flying or on recuperative leave, our jobs mostly consist of desk work and testing. When we are sent on flights, pay increases - and since we aren't using funds in space, our savings build up rather quickly. So there's no need for other work. 👍
Trep: MIRA pays in direct deposits - and not having a bank account would tip them off rather quickly that something about an applicant was amiss. So that's one of the things Infiltrators get set up with in joining MIRA's ranks. Also, yes, what Skitch says goes for Addison and I as well.
Frinie: Unfortunately, it turns out that all of the paperwork - things like Social Security numbers and IDs - are hacked into MIRA's systems for us. MIRA doesn't know better - but that means that I don't have any of this paperwork myself. Which means finding work outside of MIRA has been...difficult. Although I hope to find something eventually, if only to have something to do. In the meantime, though, Bee and I both have a decent saving from MIRA, and she is working as well - so we're not in any danger of funds running out anytime soon. I don't believe I add a lot of financial strain, anyway - the most expensive thing about me is buying enough meat.
