What guns/weapons do each of the Borderlands characters prefer/use?

hmm, good question!

Kenny I would imagine is a no-holds-barred type person when it comes to weapons. If it works, it works. He probably gets bored sticking to one weapon for too long, so he mixes and matches with guns he gets off bandits. He’d probably be fond of Torgue and Maliwan weapons most of all. 

Kyle is a classy dude, he’d definitely be a gunslinger. With the occasional shotgun when he’s feeling Extra. Kyle is probably a Jakobs fan. 

Stan is more of a melee-type fighter (he’s got a shield and a sword) but he’d spice it up with heavier weapons like combat rifles and rocket launchers. Stan strikes me as a Tediore-user.

Cartman HAS a scimitar but he’s terrible at using it so he’d resort to rocket launchers, shotguns and submachine guns. He’s definitely still a Hyperion fanboy even after they kicked him out but I could also see him taking a liking to Vladof. 

Wendy is a combat rifle and sniper girl through and through. Anything made by Dahl and S&S Munitions is her jam.

Bebe isn’t much of a fighter but she’s still really fucking handy with a revolver or a rocket launcher. She prefers Maliwan or Jakobs. 

Scott is a brawler but give him a shotgun and watch everything get fucking rekt. He’s definitely a Torgue kinda guy. 

Clyde is a ‘the bigger the better’-dude when it comes to guns but in reality he’s pretty shit at wielding anything heavier than an SMG. He mostly uses Hyperion. 

Token is a sniper. He also commands a couple of small weaponized Hyperion drones. 

Tweek is a siren so he doesn’t use weapons much. If he has to, it’s rocket launchers all the way (and this is canon as we all know). He probably gets all his launchers from Dahl.

Craig has his mecha-Stripe and a healthy supply of SMGs on the side. He’d probably use Atlas or S&S Munitions gear.

God is it awful I really don’t have too much opinion on the matter?

Like the only girls I super care about in the show are Wends, Bebe, Heidi, Nichole, and Karen. All the others are like “...eh they’re there coolio just waitin’ for more character development thank”

I can’t get behind Bendy because honestly those two are a lot like myself and my best friend and I just KNOW how we would never work as a couple and I just kind of apply that same principle to them?

Like okay I will say I’m pretty on board with Karen/Ruby, just for the sake of Kenny being like “NO NO NO NOT WITH A TUCKER KAREN NO NO DON’T I LOVE YOU DON’T DO THIS” and Craig being like “....really? A McCormick? Knew you were stupid, Ruby but this takes it to another level.” and the two of them just rolling their eyes at their big bros constantly like I like that notion.

Also for some reason I found myself a few months ago getting behind the idea of Wendy and Nichole????? I have no fucking basis for this, I think it’s like the reason I ship Kyle and Token (hear me out before you think I’m a racist shitbag please). Like, I’ve always seen Token as like, third smartest student behind Ky and Wendy with Bebe right behind him in line. Then along came Nichole and I tend to think Nichole and Bebe would be pretty matched intellect wise. Now, I ship Ky and Token because, if Ken or whoever isn’t really up for grabs, he’d go for someone closer to his intelligence level for the benefit of ‘oh thank god a person to have deep discussions with’ and I think that Wendy would have the same philosophy. While Stendy is my jam with Wends, I also think that if they broke up for good and she was looking for someone she didn’t have a history with, she’d go for someone higher up towards her level of intellect as she got older. Kyle, even if he’s not with Ken or whatever, is too close to Stan and has to do the best friend hatred thing against her anyway since it’s an obligation. Token is her ex and probably with Bebe anyway. Then there’s Nichole just there sittin’ all pretty and smart and also looking for a good conversation to have with someone and they just grow a lil closer and it just takes off from there.

Again. No basis for this. I just like it.

Other than that tho not really.

Maybe that’ll change if we get some more development down the line /shrug
