[ dee ] Gently cleans away Muyang's tears sliding down his face. A light kiss is placed on his cheek, right under his right eye. The salty taste on her lips may be one she never forgets. "You're much stronger than you give yourself credit for. I hope you always remember that."

✦。— The man melted into her touch as she wiped away his tears. Muyang tried to hide his grief for so long but because it was Dee, he found himself letting go. Red hues eclipsed themselves underneath black tresses and soon fluttered shut upon her lips pressing lightly against hot skin. Leaning downwards to rest his forehead against hers, a trembling hand came to envelop hers.

If there was anything he possessed, it was never strength. Muyang tried his best to attain such a thing, to be someone he was not. After all, his heart was a soft thing, a thing that could never survive the harshness of this world. But no matter what he had gone through, he remained unchanging— much to his dismay.

Still, her words comforted him so, as undeserving as he was of such kindness and love.

❝ Am I? ❞ Trembling lips parted to mutter a question, his eyes remained closed. For he feared that if he were to meet her gaze, the tears would escape again.

❝ — Then I will try to remember. ❞

To remember her words when he found doubt clawing at him once more, to remember that someone in this world believed that he was strong...the way he was.

In the centuries to come, when the memories slowly faded from his grasps. He hoped that this one would stay forever and always.
