Not me starting a third drama when I know damn well I can keep my attention on only one at a time 😅

Anyway, here we are, despite common sense, because I really, really want to watch this and have wanted to for months now. I don’t like Zhang Ziyi much, I find her and her characters so unpleasant, but she is very beautiful and has starred in some of my favourite things, so having her in the main role is far from being a deal-breaker. I’ve also heard good things about this drama, so I have high expectation!

Anyway, I remember some of the early reviews for this when it first came out and people were complaining about Zhang Ziyi playing her teenage self when she is over 40 and while she doesn’t exactly pass as a sixteen-year-old (?), she’s gorgeous enough that I don’t particularly care.
