just saw a post that's really made me feel like shit and i wanna ask if this pride month we can like. stop blaming lesbians for every problem in the community. lesbians aren't overwhelmingly terfs lesbians don't oppress ace people lesbians aren't "queer phobes" lesbians aren't "mean girl high school bullies" I promise you if there are individual lesbians displaying bigotry towards you then that's not an excuse to blame those problems on an entire segment of the community. please think about why you feel so comfortable maligning a group who have historically been disrespected and reviled by homophobes outside of the community and misogynists within it. im not a scapegoat. trans lesbians and ace lesbians are not a scapegoat. I wanna end this with a joke about showing you what a mean lesbian looks like but honestly it's already leaving a bad taste in my mouth im tired of being seen as "mean" for defending my right to just exist as a lesbian
