Hey, I wanted to congratulate to your wonderful Ackerbond-series! It's such an interesting concept and I love your writing style. I'm so hyped for every new chapter! Could you please add me to the taglist? And is there any "secret" to your amazing writing style or is it just a lot of practice? I'm no Levi simp but I devour every of your stories, because they're so well written!

hallo hallo! and why thank you!!! it really is a wonderful concept i agree, and i will tag @levmada til the cows come home whenever the quality of the idea is mentioned. it's honestly such a fun series to write and the idea was aaaaaaaaall theirs! OH AND OF COURSE I'LL ADD U TO THE TAGLIST!!!! welcome aboard :3

i have to give a really boring answer i'm afraid, and say it really was a lot of practice with trial and error. i sort of fumbled ass-backwards into the style i have now, and i honestly don't expect this one to stick around either. styles are constantly evolving and changing, a bit like art styles as well (not that i know anything about art ajonrgiebgnbroegj). but if i can give one tip, it's that WRITE. EVERYTHING. DOWN. a concept, a scene idea, even a line of dialogue you come up with in the bath or on a rollercoaster. write it down! i cannot tell you have many ideas i've thought of, trusted myself to remember, and then when it comes to actually sitting down and writing, that very same idea is nowhere to be found. and i know i'm not alone in this :") so i don't know who needs to hear this, but

THAT IDEA YOU'RE HAVING RIGHT NOW? YEAH, WRITE IT DOWN ISTG

i wasn't a levi simp either! until i started writing for him because i felt like i understood his character more than i understood eren's or anyone else. now he's my little meow meow and i wanna hold him til he falls asleep on my chest ;-;

hi this is probably weird from out of the blue but i wanted to say i Love ur writing. "'til the cows come home" and "hung up" are my faves from you...the dialogue is sooo good and the thoughts of the characters are v interesting & fun...i love vigilante and i think the way you write him is great :) i've probably reread those two fics like. 5 or more times already LOL i'm not super into dc but your fics are always such a joy to read!! i can't wait to see what else you write n i hope you have a good day ♥

first off, this is not weird at all. it is, in fact, incredibly lovely that you took the time out of your day to reach out. particularly with such kind words.

and, i apologize for the delay in response, i haven't been online in a minute bc truly, things have been hectic lately, stress levels are high and i have a total existential meltdown at least twice a day and that doesn't leave a TON of time for online-ing.

BUT to login in after a little absence and find this in the mailbox was just REALLY AWESOME!!! It totally made my day.

like absolutely shocking. people reading my stuff more than once didn't occur to me as a possibility until very recently and i still haven't quite wrapped my head around it.

It's absolutely amazing and so, so wonderful to hear.

and i'm SO GLAD you like the way i write the characters. i'm a big comic book geek and those guys are near and dear to my heart so i'm glad i've done them some measure of justice.

Esp. Vig, because he's my fave and it's great to hear that a fellow Vig fan reads my stuff AND approves of how i've written him so thank you so much for that!!!

Really, your note was so wonderful and kind and so encouraging.

Hopefully, I'll have some more stuff up soon.

‘Til the Cows Come Home has been progress awhile now because I ended up changing the original plan for it a bit (it ended up a lot longer than I anticipated) and I don't always write in order so chapter three didn't get written until i hashed out chapter 5, etc. etc.

But hopefully, that'll be up soon.

I also did some changes for a chapter in Hung Up and I'm debating posting that because it'll mean BIG changes for my little universe, but I'm leaning towards YES.

Also, there's a one-shot for Greg in the second draft stage, a longer Vig & Shining Knight fic in the first draft stage/construction phase, and a few shorter one shots for my little drabble collection of firsts that are in various draft phases.

If i could stay home all day and write i 100% would but until DC hands over the reins (; i'm just gonna have to sneak my writing in where I can LOL.
