so this isn’t art related but I got offered a museum job today!! It’s not full time but it’s to be a project archivist for this esteemed historical collection and I wouldn’t have to work my bookstore job anymore and it’s not a permanent job but it’s like stepping halfway out of the trenches and I feel like I’m currently filled with light???

I'm so used to not being paid and being given like a dirty pencil to use and told to make it work lol #and they were basically like 'the pay is twice what you make now #is that okay? #and please come on these days because sometimes we leave for lunch and we don't want to leave you alone #and I was like?? office?? leaving the building for lunch?? huh #I was very much giving victorian orphan removed from the workhouse #and like i said its not permant it's on a grant #i also now have to think about quitting my bookstore job which i felt i was never going to escape and now i can #like bruh #sometimes good things do happen you know #the bookstore job can be very fun but i have an MA and it's minimum wage so I've been literally stuck living at home for the pandemic so #i can dream of having an apartment again #sorry for long tags I'm just so shook
