I think my problem with college is that it’s all this focus on stuff that’s really not that deep instead of getting into the nitty gritty of the shit itself.

#I mean y’all have seen my essays my manifestos about work on here #better than any college think piece I’ve ever seen #anyway I’m saying this because I’m taking this horror films class that is literally so beneath me it’s staggering #and I already want to kill the professor like I could teach this class better #girl went off about horror film history for a bit and then 30 mins of discussion was dedicated to german surrealist paintings #sure it was relevant (early set back drops for german horror films had a surrealist style) #but I came here to run my mouth about the modern horror I was promised like Midsommar and hopefully sneak my manifesto about how #mike flanagan is the superior modern auteur by virtue of modernizing and reviving the gothic genre for today’s emotional and political #climate. like I have no fucking time for this dog shit and these fucking children #I wish the good teachers were teaching something good this semester I miss them 😔😔😔 #I miss my Chaucer class I miss my comics class I miss my EDGAR ALLAN POE CLASS #god why why why did you forsake me #I wish to be free of this pain
