1. Animated character that was your gay awakening?

That would be Oscar François de Jarjayes from Rose of Versailles.

It’s basically the story of the last girl born to a privileged French aristocrat family in the 1750s – her father always wanted a son, but given he had another daughter he raised her as the male heir he never had. Given her intelligence and prowess with a blade, Oscar got to be Commander of the Imperial Guard and then Commander of the Military Regiment B (I guess I’ve always had a thing for women-Commanders 🤷‍♀️) . When she’s in her late 20′s the timeline is contemporary with the French Revolution, so I was all hyped up about every single detail - and I’m a sucker for period drama. Oscar is fascinatingly androgynous while tantalizingly femme. She’s best friends with her valet – Andre, with whom she grew up with (Andre has always been pining for her and suffering in silence - and he’s so completely devoted to her it’s sickenigly sweet). Their dynamic from childhood bffs to lovers was a trope fest of longing and angst; to this day they remain the only het couple I’ve ever rooted for (while secretly wishing Andre were a woman, because well ... the gay was there to stay). Also, there’s women throwing themselves at Oscar right and left, including her protege Rosalie who’s utterly besotted. So plenty of queer vibes.

Baby-gay me didn’t quite know why I was so enamored with Oscar’s military garb, or how she made men’s fashion look infinitely better when she wore it. Or why the voice they gave her - low and smoky and velvety - had me swooning. Well, it’s all clear now haha So yeah, basically it’s a fascinating story about Oscar ultimately renouncung her priviledged position and siding with the revolutioners. It’s her and Andre’s coming of age during tumultuous historical times, their trials and tribulation and triumphs. And their love story is so painfully bittersweet it still guts me. It was the first time I had to come terms with a tragic ending and I can still remember how utterly shocked and devastated I was. Also: as I look back now. They were soulmates ❤. And Andre dies ‘’by stray bullet’’ (might I add, got shot in the same place as Lexa 😢 - cue narrator ‘‘and thus the fate of her alltime favorite ship has been foretold’‘) Oscar dies a couple days later - mad with grief as she leads the assault on the Bastille. And well. Oscar is blonde with blue eyes and Andre a brunnete with green eyes and I keep thinking what a great Clexa AU this would make (minus the tragic ending, though with angst galore: a love story between two women - an aristocrat and a ‘’commoner’’ during the tumultuous times of the French Revolution) Yes. I think of everything in terms of Clexa these days . Because everything is Clexa and everything hurts.

1. which 1d song has the highest play count on your itunes? Fireproof, but Just Hold On has more. I literally listened to that sh*t on repeat for weeks.

HMMMM I want Louis to tattoo something stupid on his lower lip like “FUCK” I also loved Harry’s “might as well…” it was hot as heck and I miss that and want it back (although the laurels are damn fine as well)

3. who would you like to see duet with harry? (or any of the boys) and an original song or already existing? which song, if the latter? doesn’t have to be the artists own

I desperately want to hear him sing Gaga’s Million Reasons. It would suit his voice SO WELL and the lyrics uggghhhhh it would absolutely kill us all, and them preforming together would be so amazing! ANY of her songs ALL of her songs really.

4. what is your favourite item of clothing or accessory that you own? and why if you like

I have a grey wrappy headband that saves my life daily because I’m too lazy to do my hair.

There are soooo many golden ones though don’t make me choose. Off the top of my head I love the exchange about HL sitting down to pee. Harry’s lube tweet. All of Harry’s tbh. And Niall’s classic “Don't wana see a single person today , thanks ! really really fun night with everyone but today , don't talk to me” @NiallOffical is my spirit animal.

none…….? I don’t really watch horror.

Jesus no. (Except in the way that I always saw people with tattoos and it made me want mine so I guess in that sense?) I have a concert tshirt.

9. what’s the funniest childhood memory you have?

umumum funniest? Something involving my grandpa probably he was a riot. We got kicked out of many restaurants because he was hollering nonsense in public and teaching up how to armpit fart and hang cutlery off our bodies.

…..HL for all of eternity apparently. Also stucky when I’m feeling it. And for trope maybe good old friends to lovers? I’m also a sucker for angst of the hurt/comfort variety. And almost any and all aus.

11. What are you most looking forward to in the coming months? Going to visit my east-coast family next month and then jumping to Europe with my BFF. I’m vvvvvvv excited.
