it is fascinating to me how universally hated Milton Keynes is in the uk. You mention milton Keynes to a British person and their first response will always be oh no it’s terrible. everyone has a complaint to share whenever it comes up in conversation. too many roundabouts. grey. the worst place in England. people will drive further total miles and add time onto a trip so as to avoid driving through Milton Keynes.
