Hello ooohs! I just wanted to say that I adore your AU and just can't get enough of the change in dynamics for Rise!!

Your designs are incredible (( especially Leo's!! He is so adorable <3 )) and I get so excited each time you post!

So I have a question I want to ask: I have a huge soft spot a mile wide for Leo/Splinter family bond dynamic. I just turn to mush every time their familial bond is portrayed in comics/fanart/ and fanfiction.

Anyway! My question is: do Leo and Splinter develop a close relationship with each other later in the AU after meeting for the first time? I mean it has been shown how much of a fan boy Leo is for Splinter XD. Can your provide more insight into it and what Splinter thinks of the other three kids?

I also wanted to bring up a small error in The Cell part 3 that I noticed

For Donnie: "that's " was it supposed to be "that" ?

And skfskbdwlskdisj yessss I love Splinter's and Leo's dynamic you're so real for that. And yeah, out of the of the Drax Bros, Leo is the one who ends up growing the closest to Splinter, both because he's been a secret Lou Jitsu fanboy for years at this point, but also because Leo was the first to change his mind on the evil world domination plan. Leo freed Donnie from imprisonment and tried to help him stop The Foot and The Shredder in the season 1 finale, and I imagine Splinter would be quite appreciative of that.

Not to mention, after Leo technically betrayed his family (even if it was for good reasons) Leo's and Draxum's relationship is a bit tense to say the least. And we see in the show that Leo has a tendency to seek out extra father figures, so in the AU Leo would be quite enthusiastic to recieve any positive attention from Splinter.

Splinter I imagine would feel rather guilty about not being able to rescue any of the turtles aside from Donnie when he fled Draxum's lair. He'd wanted to prevent Draxum from raising them as soldiers, so in failing to do that Splinter would continue to worry about how they were doing even years after the incident. After encountering the Drax Trio again years later, he'd be relieved that they don't seem to be TOO traumatized or anything, but they ARE still child soldiers, so that's a yikes.

That being said, while Splinter would've liked to find a way to get the other turtles away from Draxum, his priorities very much lie with Donnie. Considering how powerful Draxum is, and how Big Mama would also be looking for him, Splinter couldn't risk going back to the Hidden City to try to get Donnie's brothers without risking both his own and Donnie's safety. So he decided to cut his losses and play it safe by laying low in NYC and putting as much effort as he could into only protecting Donnie. This stays the same even after Donnie runs into his brothers as a teen, Splinter feels no ill will towards the other three turtles, but they WERE raised by Draxum so he does not trust them. Leo gains his trust after helping Donnie in the season 1 finale, but it takes some more time for him to start fully trusting Raph and Mikey because he wants to be sure that they're not gonna switch back to being evil or something and try to kidnap Donnie again.

Splinter's relationship with Draxum is the same as in the show, Splinter hates Draxum, Draxum hates Splinter, and there is NO underlying homoerotic tension between the two of them WHATSOEVER!

... Anyway, with that concluded, that IS a typo goddamit. I do appreciate people pointing out spelling and grammar mistakes in the comics I make, so thanks for that. But also it's a small enough mistake that I'm probably just gonna leave it be, I'm to lazy to fix it XD

X-MEN 97 ' SPOILERS BELOW!

TELL ME HOW I THOUGHT WHEN MAGNETO GOT THE CLOTH TO HIS FACE THAT HE WAS GONNA GET WATERBORED! Like wtf is wrong with me!? Chris looked at me like dude who hurt you? I was like man idk. xD

But I DO have A LOT of thoughts on the show in a whole. I LOVE IT! easily one of the best versions of the x-men. of course the OG is my favorite! But wow this show is knocking it out of the park. this ep was wild. saw a bit of rogue's dark side which was interesting. like it kinda makes me want to do AU where rogue is all dark and evil after losing Gambit and walks the side of darkness and someone has to pull her back. OOOH NOW I NEED IT! xD

IMAGINE ROGUE GOING TO MYSTIQUE & IS LIKE MAMA I JUST KILLED A MANNNNNN!!!! xDDDD

KURT & ROGUE!!! OMG! I was so happy to see them having a sibling moment. like yes i live for that shit. Kurt is sweet boy that needs to be kept safe at all times.

Ah, thank you! It’s always great to tal about OTPs, right? xD Good luck on writing yours, i hope you like what i think of them

Who’s more likely to find who wearing their clothes?: Definitely Bertholdt. Annie always leaves some kind of proof (usually not packing Bert’s shirt in his owner’s way, more delicated), and she also uses some shirt of his when they watch something together on TV

Who enunciates hand holding?: Annie. Bertholdt is just to shy and worried she won’t want to (but she would accept it if he said so)

Who likes having their hair washed by who?: Bertholdt loves when Annie washes her hair, since she tries to change little details on his hair (pulling it a bit back,for instance).

Who likes to slow dance?: They both do. They stop anything they are doing when “Slow Dancer” plays on the radio :)

Muse that’s more likely to fall asleep with their head in the others lap?: Annie when they are watching some romantic movie made 20 years ago, one of Bertholdt’s favorite kind of movies

Muse that does all the cuddling in a blanket fort?: Annie. She loves cuddles, be it on blanket forts or not.

Who hogs most of the covers at night?: Bertholdt while he adjustes his body to predict the weather.

Muse who nuzzles the others shoulder to get them to give them a head rub?: Annie

How do they share a desert? Two forks or one?: One fork, because Bertholdt is afraid if Annie is going to eat it all on her own

Who gets jealous more easily?: Little Big Bert is always worried whenever Annie talks to another boy who looks hotter (on his head) than him, and Annie knows this, but inside of him, he knows he has nothing to worry about.

Who gets angered more easily?: Annie, and she also calms down easily, if Bertholdt apologies and give her chocolate

How do they go to sleep at night?: Bertholdt carries Annie, bridal style ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Who gets the most shoulder rubs?: Annie,’cause she loves it and Bert is aware of it

What are there arguments/fights like? How often do they fight?: almost never fight or get into an argument, they think alike in most subjects and most of the time they shout at each other is when things got really messy

Who is more likely to throw things in fights?: None of them. Annie would use her fists and Bertholdt too

How do they make it up to each other/apologize after an argument?: Lots of sorry and shared ice creams

Do they have nicknames for each other?: Only short versions of their names, until they had their first Jane Katherine. Then Bertholdt became “Papa Bort” and Annie, “Mama Ani”.

Caring for each other while ill, how does the other muse go about it?: Annie makes some lunch for him and goes to work, though she’ll send messages asking if he’s okay. Bertholdt, on the other hand, gets more sticky with her, checking her temperature, blood pressure, and often gives her food and water.

Who’s more likely to be patching the others wound?: Bertholdt, since Annie is more propitious on going to fight someone who isn’t Bert

Muse that says ‘I told you so’, after they come home from the beach and other muse is burnt to a crisp while whining how bad it hurts for not listening and putting on sunblock after the other muse repeatedly told them they’d get burnt?: Annie’s the one who’s more careless and doesn’t use sunblock, but Bertholdt doesn’t like the feel superior about it. He only says “be careful next time, hon” and they move foward

Your otp has a newborn baby, who gets up in the middle of the night when he/she cries?: Oh, with 100% sure, Bertholdt. He had gone crazy since Jane had born, and on the few weeks he had free of work, he treated her better than he treats himself, often going to help her go back to sleep. This paternal instinct of his lasted until she was old enough to stop it. Not that Annie wouldn’t go too, but Bert was faster than his wife.

Your muse’s of the otp reaction to finding the others crying about something? And how do they make them feel better?: Both would talk to the person who’s crying and give him/her moral support

What would they be like as parents?: Protective and worried, however Annie would be the most flexible of both

What would they have been like as childhood sweethearts?: Something like in Junior High: Both were introverted kids, but Bertholdt always tries to impress the girl he loves so much

Who enunciates taking a bath together?: Annie

Who likes who playing with their hair?: Bertholdt

The place they mostly likely accidentally fall asleep together?: (Canon) On the dining hall after long periods of training (AU) On the train going to visit Annie’s father who lives in the interior
