+Running some design tests after the last update. Was able to fix the head proportion issues and simplify the head silhouette down to an easier-to-draw shape but keep the 'messy hair look.' For me, his hair should stick out a bit like pieces of straw or ruffled feathers-- he's combed it back at some point, tried to keep the image together, but then it's beginning to come undone in places. Kind of symbolic of his personality.

I wasn't in the mood for inking, so I just kept my clean sketch lines since this was a test, threw some color and shading in, and painted one of those simple 30 minute backgrounds that look more complicated than they actually are.
