Can the scriptwriter in my head go the heck to sleep please it just threw the "ships in the night" line at me ( courtesy of Twitter) and I legitimately cannot cope with it cuz?? Wdym ships in the night on an ocean so vast but they manage to meet each other for a brief second IN THE NIGHT WHERE ITS EVEN HARDER TO SEE- and that brief meeting could be a complete disaster too or it could be life saving depending on the circumstances and I'm just-- what kind of person could that be, who could bring about your destruction in a second or could be your salvation but you can't seek them out and you can't avoid them, the encounter's set in stone, fated but it's effects are huge and-- Yes I have a lot of feelings about this line, what a way to express a chance encounter like dayum  (AND THE SONG HAS THE AUDACITY TO BE IN V'S VOICE IT FEELS LIKE THE OCEAN ALL HAZY AND GAH *DIES*)
