Kakashi does dog shows with Pakkun (the breadwinner of the entire household) and Guy does motivational speaking/group therapy with turtle racing on the side. The turtle’s name is Youth and she is a very spry young lady brining in all the money.

When career day comes around Naruto says Kakashi is retired but their dog has a job. Everyone laughs. Naruto can’t figure out why. Shikamaru is gearing up to make a room full of five year olds cry again.

Iruka who had Lee the year before sighs, grateful at least it’s a dog and not a turtle/tortoise this time that he has to translate into kid speak, and says that technically Kakashi’s job is a dog handler but he’s sure their dog does a very good job at racing.

Naruto again is confused. Ūhei is also retired and doesn’t race anymore. Pakkun is the one that makes all the money.

And that’s how the class ends up watching a video of a dog show with Naruto’s massive dad in a full suit with his hair actually combed prancing around with the tiniest and most pissed off looking pug they have ever seen.
