He left home to study further education in France, and Chloe soon followed his lead to study at a private girls school. He is told by his sister of his brothers death and how he got kicked out of the home, when his sister dies of suicide Johnathan is left alone. He looses contact with his family and focuses solidly on his work life, paper after papers - he dies when someone broke into his house and robbed him, Johnathan went down to investigate the noise and was shot five times in the chest. Powers: Is excellent at sword fighting, good at weapon crafting, is very resourceful, tending to wounds, aerodynamics General bio: Everyone was surprised when Jokey introduces Jonathan as his older brother, Willem is still trying to process the fact that they’re related. Jonathan is very different from his two younger siblings, he is much more matured compared to his younger brother Jokey, who is far more extroverted and bouncy then he. Jonathan prefers to keep to himself and his work, he’s very focused on making his time worth while and spending it tending to important things, rather then pulling silly pranks and telling cheesy jokes. Jonathan also leans more towards the french side in the family tree, he along with his little sister Chloe both show interest in french clothing and cooking. When he was alive he left him early to study away in France, after hearing word of his younger brothers death Jonathan trains in fencing in hopes that he can protect his sister. He is a very skilled fighter in swords and spears, but after his little sister committed suicide, he was broken, crushed. He becomes completely focused on work after his siblings deaths, he looses contact with her parents over the time he works and he soon stops talking with any close family. Now in heaven Jonathan is still a bit of a work a holic, he much rather prefers to keep to himself then socialise, he’ll only hold a decent conversation with Chloe. He spends his days crafting swords and exterminator spears along side other angels, he graduated from Charleston’s training lessons as he is fully capable of defending himself and others. Relationship: Out of his two siblings Jonathan is closer to his little sister Chloe, due to them both sharing a love for french culture and fashion. When they where alive Johnathan tried to keep his little sister in the right pathway to becoming a propped young lady, he wasn’t approving of his younger brother Jokey stirring their sister away from that path. It’s probably thanks to Johnathan and their parents that Chloe turned out as polite and generous as she is, the two get along well and Johnathan is willing to be weak around her. Himself and Jokey have a more...strained relationship, being the eldest child Johnathan had a lot of responsibilities pushed onto him by his parents, he grows up viewing his brothers energetic and bouncy behaviour as silly. Hey have there moments when they get along though, deep down Johnathan still loves his little brother. Thinks that Willem’s lazy habits are not a good example for his little sister of a good trait in a lover for his little brother. Johnathan was raised with manners, style, and grew up to be very mature, Willem is lazy, slacks off on work and dresses in baggy clothing - things that Johnathan is not used too. Johnathan is a bit cautious of Willem’s demon side, like most angels, but for now he will allow Willem to be with his brother. He’s learnt that Willem seems far too lazy to cheat on his brother. Johnathan is the type of older brother that would want his siblings to be with someone perfect, someone that could truly love them. As much of a stick in the mud he is, he does care for his siblings happiness....which is why he was very surprised when Jokey just causally brought up that Chloe liked Nathanial. His sister liking that hot headed brute?! Surely not! Haha! How wrong he was, Chloe does indeed have a crush on him...and Johnathan was genuinely at a loss for words. He kinda went ‘Chloe you can’t be serious’ right to her face - Johnathan does NOT think Nathanial is a good role model or lover to his sister, he has promised Nathanial he shall see to it that he will personally snap his wrists and pin them to a door if he makes his sister cry....(But Johnathan is only a wee bit taller then his siblings so Nathanial could defeated him with a gentle hand holding him back-) Johnathan isn’t sure how exactly he ended up being friends with Maylen (also known as Bubbles) of all people. She was so...chatty, all the time. Constantly! At some point Maylen asks him to go to the lake with her, loosen up a bit! Get away from work! Johnathan of course turns down the offer, but oh no it didn’t stop there! Maylen kept on asking and asking and asking until one day Johnathan finally agrees, to make her stop jabbering. And then from that point on the two sorta just stayed close, Johnathan will admit that she her company isn’t entirely unwanted. He begins to maybe enjoy her company just a teenie weenie little bit...maybe Nathanial/Maylen - @cosmic-artzz

the number of “i can’t bring people back from the dead” lex plots/lines and how ambiguously the show plays lex’s near invulnerability PAYING THE FUCK OFF in the finale. used to be an interesting anecdote to his character (is he meteor infected????!???) but it’s next level meta shit. like LEX LUTHOR CANNOT DIE bc his destiny is to fuck up clark lol 

how the fuck ARE chloe and lois related? is sam gabe’s brother? was ella gabe’s sister? chloe’s mom related to ella or sam? chloe and lois are best friends but we never find out anything about their relationship at all. AT ALL.

sigh clark and football is so pure. it’s great character development for him to go from being truly afraid and insecure in freshman year, so much so that he decides not to pursue it. to be confident in his powers to the point where he defies jonathan and asserts his independence. it’s not fear and insecurity driving him now. it’s a genuine need to branch out on his own and put to the test the limitations he’s set himself. once they get that out of the way they bring in the external dangers in recruit. it’s just too bad. he just wants to play LET HIM

Okay so like a month/month and a half ago I was bored at work and let my mind wander while cleaning (as I frequently do, my brain constantly jumps from thing to thing when I'm bored) and accidentally created an AU I've been obsessing over since. It started out as me wondering what would happen if Miraculous Ladybug was in the same universe as DC (specifically the "takes bits and pieces from different things because the actual comics usually have me screaming no because of the bullshit they do to my babies and anyway I like Teen Titans (2003) and Young Justice and the animated movies so I'm gonna amalgamate them a bit" verseI made with Mal that's constantly going in my head). But nothing really changed so I kept doing things and wound up combining two things that didn't need to be put together and made Marinette not exist in the verse and- That was when I realized I had a problem but really didn't care. Sooo since I'm not doing great today I decided I'm just making a long probably rambling post for this verse because maybe it'll make me feel better. -Chara and Mal came to earth when they were nine and got adopted by Bruceman almost instantly -Dickiebird is two years older than them but Chara will always claim "oldest" when coming up with plans and is questioned on who put her in charge and he really doesn't fight her on it because she's definitely the most responsible -Idk the actual age differences between everyone in the batfam so I'm making up my own -Ironically enough, when Mal and Chara first got into the heroing thing, Chara's chosen alias was Ladybug. Because she liked ladybugs -Mal and Chara spent their first four years on earth trying to find their father, then never actually went to see him once they did because they were both nervous -Plus Jason had just been taken in and they wanted to get to know their new little bro -Jay's a year younger than them -Another year after that, when Mal and Chara were thirteen, Chara almost died -Mal and Dickie had already decided to move to Jump for awhile and try being heros without The Bat, and Chara decided to let Ladybug die (since the villains already thought she was) for awhile so she could see what a normal life was like -She then sought out her father to actually meet him -Who lived in Paris with his wife -They own a bakery -You have to see where this is going -The girls' mother Miranda visited earth at one point (for science) and wound up "dating" (it was like a week lmao so I'm not sure it counts as dating) Tom Dupain while she was there -Then after she left she found out she was pregnant and he wound up meeting Sabine Cheng -Also Miranda seemed to have a thing for accidentally having half human kids after visiting earth -Because that had happened before with some other human -Except the father of those ones knew about it -So she kept one (Valerie) and let the father keep one on earth -And there we have Slade -Because I just like torturing my babies by having him related to them too damn much -Anyway -So Chara goes and surprises her dad with her existence -But he and Sabine are both more than happy to let her live with them -Chara had already thought of Bruceman as her dad (and Selina as a mom tbh) and now she has another mom and dad and it was great -Mal came by to meet them and it was great -I should write that tbh -French is one of the languages Chara hadn't picked up working in the batfam so she had to learn there -This leads to slip-ups and uncertain stuttering that Chloe makes fun of her for relentlessly -Chloe still a bitch -She manages to have a normal life for a full year!!! -Then mysteriously gets these earrings that turn her into a superhero themed like- get this- a ladybug -Oh the irony -I feel I've gotten more sarcastic as this post goes on -Also she gets her first crush on a sweet cinnamon roll model boy and made friends with a girl who really likes superheros -In case you couldn't tell that's Adrien and Alya -Chara can talk to Adrien better than Marinette can in the show -She still stammeres a lot but it's not nearly as bad and it's usually blamed on her not knowing the language confidently yet -She pretty quickly settles into her role as Ladybug again -She even likes Chat Noir's stupid puns -Not that she'd tell him while they're battling akumas -Then Jay dies -And she's sadder than normal but no one knows why exactly -Because she's pretty private about her life and family back in Gotham -Anyway over the next few years she becomes pretty good friends with Alya and Nino and Adrien while doing the hero thing with Chat -Because I have a soft spot for the MariChat branch, that is definitely a thing -Chat likes to see what "Purrrincess" is up to because she's less stuttery and more jokey for some reason when he's Chat instead of Adrien??? -The reason being Chara knows Chat won't make fun of her for her language slip-ups because he hadn't while she's LB -Either way Chat likes seeing her like that -And Chara comes to appreciate his jokes and just him in general -And she kinda gives up on Adrien because surely if it was meant to be it would be easier -And Chat's accepted LB doesn't want to be anything more than friends -So one day while they're hanging in Chara's room Chat kisses her -And then they're making out on her bed -And it becomes a thing -And a couple weeks later Chara shows up one day covered in hiccies -So does Adrien -Neither offers an explanation and Chara doesn't seem to be upset by seeing hiccies by the collar of his shirt so everyone assumes they hooked up, which is truer than Chara realizes -Chara winds up telling Alya it was actually Chat and holy hell Alya totally flips -"GIRL HOW THE HELL HAVE YOU WOUND UP WITH CHAT FREAKING NOIR!!!" -Chara shushes her and tells her it's not like that -Really they're just friends with benefits because surely Chat, who seemed to flirt with everyone (though if she payed attention, she'd see it was only her as Chara and LB) wouldn't want to actually DATE her -Jump to a few months later, LB and Chat finally defeated Hawkmoth -They agreed to not reveal Gabriel's identity, as long as he gave up the moth miraculous -LB was very reluctant to do this, which confused Chat -Chat, after finding out HM was Gabe and his reason for wanting the cat and ladybug miraculouses was to bring his mom back bc he's even worse with Emotions (tm) than Bats, wanted to give him a second chance, and was confused why LB (not knowing she was trained by Bats and lived in Gotham) is so reluctant to give a second chance -After they leave Chara decides to reveal herself to Chat because without HM as a problem anymore that shouldn't be an issue and really it's been nearly four years and she really REALLY likes him so -Chat is just stunned because shit his lady and his purrincess are one and the same and wait he kissed Ladybug and she actually was interested in him just not while they were fighting and fuck his father was the guy they've been up against for the last four years she DEFINITELY wouldn't be in him now -Chara sees the shock on his face and, because she's pretty confident in herself, assumes he wasn't as ready for a reveal and tells him not to tell him who he is yet, he clearly isn't ready -Chat just kisses her and detransforms anyway and Chara's the one who's shocked -Jump again to a few weeks later when Chara goes on a visit to Gotham as she does every few months -She's kept up well with the growing Batfamily and keeps a good relationship with all of them -She acts as a mother to all of them, including Dick -She's pretty protective of Timmy -Damian wouldn't admit it, but she's actually his favorite -She's not judgmental of the fact he grew up an assassin or telling him constantly to not kill people, and actually gives him tips on how to adapt (which she'd used herself after coming to earth), and she's not always around so he doesn't have to deal with constant hugs, only when she's visiting, so it's a manageable amount -Jay's the only one she hasn't kept up with, and that's only because no one told her he came back -So Chara comes for one of her visits and brings Adrien and Alya and Nino (who've been informed of their secret identities) -Almost immediately there's an attack at the coffee shop they stop in by a fairly weak villain -Probably Riddler or smthn -Chara Ladybugs up and kicks his ass within two minutes -Cue people cheering and being excited at seeing Ladybug again -AGAIN -Chara goes back to Chara and Alya just -"GIRL YOU GOT SOME 'SPLAININ' TO DO" -Chara hesitates then takes the distraction of noticing someone -That someone winds up being Jay -He'd heard what was going off then sprinted off when he saw it was taken care of -Chara chases -Confused af when she sees it's Jay -But also excited because her first little brother is ALIVE -And she's just chattering and hugging him -And then he starts bawling and she's not sure why -But she's rocking him and muttering soothing nonsense and petting his hair -And he's curled in her lap like a little kid and just sobbing and holding onto her and he's just so happy someone's loving him and caring about him -Once he calms down he tells her that he had come back and the whole story with that and how after he hadn't followed the no kill rule a few times and the rest of the family was weary at best towards him -Mal was nice enough to him at least but still it wasn't great -Chara just keeps holding him and rocking him and assuring him that he's still part of the family and more importantly he's still her little brother and she'll always be his big sister -She reminds him how before she moved to Paris she promised she'd be there for him whenever he needed and says that still applies -The others finally find where she'd went and she tells them everything -Bruceman might be mad but shhhh he can deal she trusts them with her life -They finally make it to Wayne Manor and they all get along pretty damn well -Even Jay -I should write that too -Aaaand that's all for now

Hey all, so first week at college has been pretty stressful - new year, new work and new teachers, got pretty overwhelmed surprise surprise. Decided I’d post this to destress. DO NOT REPOST/EDIT/COPY/TRACE MY ART OR OC’S!!! Jokey - me Warning - I’m not sure if the themes in this can be considered heavy, but there are themes of anxiety and suicide in this Headcannon. If you don’t like that please don’t read! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jokey, therapist angel and president and founder of Heaven’s community friendship club is for the most part, a very happy chappy! With a skip in his step and a smile on his face, it is very, VERY rare that Jokey is ever at all sad. Jokey’s always followed advice along the lines of ‘what’s done is done’ and goes with the flow, always seeming to find a way to make things turn out okay in the end. But even Jokey has his really low points (This next part is where things may get a little bit confusing, so apologies if this doesn’t come off as clear) Before his death, Jokey was thrown out for being bisexual, as it was something his parents disapproved off and regarded as a sin. Jokey spent the next few years of his life wondering the streets, picking up any small job he could to earn a few pieces of cash: willing windows, clearing side walks, taking out the trash, he did anything he could. In this time of abandonment and the sudden separation from his siblings, whom he was both close too, Jokey became reluctant to trust others, and even going as far as to not talk to anyone - only ever speaking unless he really had to. Sadly the jobs soon stop hiring him, as they think Jokey is some kind of inexperienced hobo who would ward off customers. Running low on cash Jokey soon can’t afford food, or book himself a hair cut to try and improve his looks in hopes he could try again for a job. Jokey once again, falls into a bad state, he shuts down from talking to people, he looses weight, he gets sick from the little amount of food, he is constantly tired. Jokey fell into a dark, dark place...he couldn’t send letters to his sister or brother, he had no clue where they were. Where they trying to find him? Why hadn’t Chloe come to find him? Did his siblings..not care for him? These thoughts clouded Jokey’s vision, clouded his mind from rational thought - and one day, in the early hours of the morning at the towns woods, Jokey nearly took things too far...until he came across a very upset looking teenager. She’s a young girl, maybe younger then him. For a moment, Jokey DOES consider leaving, but he sticks around, approaching the timid looking girl. He talks to her, and though hesitant too at first, she talks to him. She explains her family life, how she’s been struggling with anxiety, how her old school friends have moved away, how she’s getting bullied at school. Jokey and that girl both end up sobbing, and then Jokey takes her to the local police station where she is then guided on to a therapist. Things from that point onwards become better for Jokey. The police officer he took the girl too offers to buy him a meal, a big proper meal, he noticed just how skinny Jokey looked. He then sends Jokey to a refuge centre, where Jokey is given clean clothes, a hair cut, warm meals, and finally, a place he could call home, people he could call friends! As Jokey spends more time at the refuge, Jokey soon takes up role as becoming a member to help around the community with their people like him, and more so, starting his own small support group for children struggling to identify who they are. Jokey, now in heaven, doesn’t like to dabble into his past and much rather prefers to keep it to himself, often just brushing it off if he’s asked about it. However, his past has had an affect on how he is now. Whenever Jokey is sad, like, REAL saw at the bottom of the low point, Jokey drains of his colour - he looses his colour, he becomes blank, grey. This also works for his other emotions, when angry Jokey turns red, pink when lovey-dicey, green when sick, and so on The only ones that really know of Jokey’s past are Johnathan and Chloe, but Jokey is slowly coming round to being more open to his other friends.

Miguel and Chloe became best friends, he was very heart broken when he learnt of Chloe’s suicide and still feels very guilty about it too this day, he feels as if he could have done something to prevent it. Miguel kept up his studies at his school for 3 years, but died during his graduation when someone spiked his drink. Powers: Can shapeshift into a fox, due to him being a fox he is very stealthy and can slink about places very quietly, his singing sends out soothing vibes to whoever listens and will make people feel relaxed and light hearted General bio: A natural born musician with a love for singing, Miguel is a creative soul and is often humming a tune to himself while he is wondering about heaven. Miguel has a few ancestors in his family tree that where partially Mexican, as a child it was this side of his family that first inspired him to learn music and start singing, he too does have a bit of a Mexican accent but it isn’t as strong as some of his family members. He’s gained the attention of quite a few fellow angels, but Miguel currently doesn’t have his eyes set on any angel in particular. His family resides within Safe Haven, so Miguel has the most knowledge these days of what Safe Haven is like and it’s surroundings. As a fox shapeshifter he is very classy, sometimes he can come off a flirty without actually realising it. His hair and tail are naturally silky and he’s seen a stereotypical ‘golden boy’, despite this Miguel is still a boy and will typical do a bit of rough housing and light teasing with his fellow companions. He is an exceptional cook! He has a fondness for spicy foods due to their wild flavours, but he also enjoys sweet and sour. Very well mannered and genuinely polite despite the whole reputation of foxes being sly and cunning crooks. Relationships: His closest friend is Chloe, whom he sees a little sister - the two are extremely close due to them knowing each other in their past life and to the fact that they both share similar interests. It was a very tearful reunion when Miguel died and went to heaven, but their friendship only seems to have gotten stronger since then. More often then they thought but the two of them are commonly mistaken for being a couple rather then best friends, Miguel and Chloe brush it off with a chuckle. Miguel calls Chloe ‘desert flower’, a nickname he gave her when they where both alive. Himself and Chloe frequently geek out over music, their respective family traditions, and stupid best friend stuff Miguel likes to believe that himself and Chloe’s romantic lover Nathanial are close pals, but he has reason to believe that Nathanial might see him as a threat to their relationship (the glaring and growling sorta gave it away). Miguel in some ways finds Nathanial’s attitude towards him humours, but he does genuinely respect the fact that Nathanial is protective of Chloe. Miguel has never viewed Chloe as a lover, the two are just very very close best friends, their relationship is similar to a big brother little sister relationship, but he’s happy that Chloe has found someone who can make her happy. Miguel, being an angel of patience, obviously allows Nathanial all the time he needs to learn that he isn’t going to try and steal Chloe away from him, but still reassures him he shall never intervene with their relationship as long as Chloe is happy. Miguel isn’t the cheating or stealing someone’s girlfriend/boyfriend type of person, so he does try his absolute best to reassurance Nathanial that he is not going to steal Chloe, that just ain’t right. Big no no. He nervously asked Nathanial’s two siblings Ram and Bara for some tips on how he can win Nat’s trust and friendship, and he was a bit surprised when he was presented with one hefty long list. He still takes small tips form Nathanial siblings, Miguel hopes that he’s at least gained the friendship of Nat’s siblings Miguel knew that Chloe had a fraternal twin and saw a few photos of him, but never had the chance to meet him in person. Before Miguel met Jokey he still held respect for him due to how close he and Chloe where as siblings and how Jokey was a good twin brother. Miguel views Jokey as a brother figure but does enjoy his very optimistic attitude and view on life, plus he likes Jokey’s he fancy to spontaneously burst out into song, sometimes he’ll join in. Miguel and Johnathan started off as class mates when they first started off basic training with mister Charleston, the two where very quick to learn basic combat sword fighting and the two soon began to build a frenemy bond. The two would teasingly not pick at the other, occasionally firing insults but excitedly awaiting the others next move. Johnathan and Miguel both graduated sword training together but still remain close to this day, just through sword training and fighting stances. Johnathan at first was hoping that Miguel would end up with his little sister rather then Nathanial and he DID drop a few discreet hints to Miguel, but Miguel is too dummy stupid and didn’t get what Johnathan was hinting at at all. Willem and Miguel are creative souls buds, often discussing topics of interest while creating drippy water colour paintings and then enjoying a home made spicy pizza - Willem is encouraging Miguel to try new foods, and since Willem is a pro expert in everything junk food Willem is more then happy to chow down on some junk food with Miguel. Willem ADORES Miguel’s cooking, and may or may not ask for seconds helpings when he visits...or a fourth helping-

I’ve been debating on making a new HH angel OC - he’d be Jokey’s and Chloe’s big brother and in short he’d be a huge stick in the mud compared to his siblings. Should I make a design for him or nah?
