A year, that’s how long Rina waited to get Revance concert tickets. The moment that the pre-sale started, Rina didn’t even sleep because she was determined to get those tickets. She was left with disappointment in the end because even though she stayed up just for the pre-sale, she wasn’t able to get tickets. The tickets were sold out in minutes.

Currently, Y/N is in Rina’s apartment trying to comfort her. “I can’t believe I was so close to getting those tickets and yet it wasn’t able to take full grasp of it.” Y/N felt really bad for your best friend.

She knew how much Rina loves the band and Y/N hated seeing Rina like this. “If it makes you feel better... I’ll ask my sources if they can give you tickets!” Y/N tried to cheer her up.

“Really? You’d do that for me?!?!?” Y/N nodded at her best friend. “Thanks, Y/N! You’re the best but please don’t do something dumb like selling your organ for tickets cause it’s not worth it.” It was just a joke but Y/N knew deep down that Rina was indeed serious.

The moment Y/N got home she let out a huge sigh. The members of Revance happen to hear your sigh of despair. “What’s wrong Y/N.” Asked Kyohei. “Well, Rina’s really bummed out about not getting tickets for your concert.”

“And you told her that you’ll get tickets for her didn’t you?”

“Kind of? I just said I’ll see what I can do, I’m not expecting you guys to give me a ticket just cause I’m your assistant manager. I don’t want to take advantage of that.”

The members knew how Y/N felt and they knew that she’s not the kind of person that would take advantage because she knew them. “How about this, I’ll give you and your friend VIP tickets. Think of it as a thank you gift from us. I know how much you miss her.”

It was really sweet of Kyohei to do that for her. Y/N thanked everyone for this opportunity. Y/N was really excited to tell Rina the good news. The last time they went to a concert together was the day Y/N became their assistant manager and their ghostwriter.

Rina was overjoyed when Y/N told her the news. Rina couldn’t believe that Y/N got VIP tickets to a sold-out concert. “I don’t know what I did to deserve a friend like you Y/N! I finally get to see Sir Kyo again!” Rina squealed. She was beyond ecstatic about the concert.

Rina mentioned that they should go shopping to buy some new outfits. “Hey, you’ll never know, what if Sir Kyo notices me and then falls in love with me!” She fantasizes. “Y/N come on we HAVE to go shopping.”

Y/N had no choice but to go along with Rina’s plan. While Y/N was hanging out with Rina, she realized that Rina’s always been there for her and never questioned whenever Y/N crashes at her place cause Y/N and Kyohei would fight or they’ll say that they need space. Thinking to herself, Y/N thought she’d tell Rina her secret.

The night of the concert, Rina really went all out. She had her make up done and curled her hair. She really wants to be noticed by the guys. She knew all the songs by heart and she mentioned how she loves the lyrics. This made Y/N happy knowing that she loves the lyrics she wrote.

In the middle of the concert, Rina was pulled on stage by Kyohei, she looked like she was about to faint. “We have a lovely woman up here on stage with me, what’s your name love?”

“R-Rina!” She stuttered.

“Miss Rina, this next song is for you.” Kyohei winked.

They sang a song just for her best friend and Y/N was happy that Rina was having the time of her life out there. One thing is for sure, she’s going to remember this for the rest of her life.

When the concert ended Rina wouldn’t stop talking about Kyohei and how he definitely fancy her. “Out of everyone in the stadium he chose me to go up on stage with them! I left like a queen up there Y/N! And I swear there’s some chemistry between Sir Kyo and me! I just know it!”

Y/N felt a pit in her stomach knowing that her best friend has a major crush on her boyfriend. Y/N wasn’t sure how she was going to tell Rina now, she didn’t want to hurt her feelings.

Before they were about to leave the stadium, security stopped them to ask if they were Y/N and Rina. “Follow me, there’s someone that wants to meet you.”

Along the way, Rina kept fantasizing about how this will change her love life. And honestly speaking, Y/N was getting irritated. “Hey Rina, you might want to tone down a bit. If your guess is correct, don’t you want to leave a good impression of them and not be like the others?”

That must’ve sounded harsh at first but Rina understood what Y/N meant. She composed herself kept her cool. They were backstage with the rest of the staff and Revance members. “Oh, my... Please, someone, pinch me. I’m dreaming aren’t I?” Rina was in a big shock.

The members crowded the two women and made conversation. Although as certain woman had only eyes for the producer. The other members noticed it as well but Kyohei entertained Rina. “So Sir Kyo, what’s your ideal girl?”

“Hmm… Probably that she’s a good cook, tough and hard worker.” Kyohei looked over at Y/N and smiled at his girlfriend. Y/N smiled back but she felt embarrassed that he basically just mentioned her traits in front of Y/N’s best friend.

“Wow, she’s really into Kyo.”

“I don’t really care, as long as I’m not the one entertaining her it’s fine with me.” Shrugged Kota.

“I agree. But it must be hard trying to entertain someone that has a crush on you but you’re in a relationship already and the girlfriend isn’t far away.” Their eyes turned to Y/N. If the band members were feeling awkward about Rina flirting with Kyohei, they assumed Y/N would be feeling jealous.

“I still can’t believe it. I’m really here! Not only was I able to stand on stage with you but I’m here talking to you in person as well! Don’t fall for me okay?” She winked at Kyohei.

Kyohei just brushed it off and chuckled. “That’s a possibility but I don’t think my girlfriend would be happy if I gave someone false hope about getting in a relationship with me.” Kyohei’s gazed move to the band members once again. He was feeling jealous that his bandmates were talking to her.

“It’s Y/N isn’t it.” Kyohei looked at Rina. “She’s the girl you’re talking about aren’t you.” There were tears visible in Rina’s eyes. She was able to puzzle everything together. There was no way Y/N could’ve got VIP tickets on a sold-out concert unless the members themselves gave them to her. Rina connected the dots when they broke up and Kyohei had to perform but froze on his spot. Rina figured out that it wasn’t a coincidence that Kyohei played the main role in her debut as a screenwriter.

Rina ran away from Kyohei. She felt broken-hearted and betrayed. Kyohei and Y/N exchanged looks “I’m sorry.” He mouthed.

When Y/N read his lip movement, she knew right away that Rina has figured it out. Y/N knew that her best friend is hurting right now but she wants to at least give her an explanation. Y/N ran after Rina, “Rina wait up!”

“How could you lie and betray me like that Y/N! You’re my best friend and we're supposed to tell each other everything!”

“I’m sorry, I know I wasn’t honest with you but I really did want to tell you. I wanted to tell you the secret, I didn’t want you to find it out like this.”

“You knew that I have a big crush on Kyohei. I was even fantasizing that I’ll be his girlfriend! You must’ve been laughing at me for thinking I have a chance with Sir Kyo when you’re already dating him! Then it turns out that you’re working for them too!”

“That’s not true Rina. Please just calm down. Let’s fix this please.” Y/N was now crying as well. Rina is one of her best friends and she doesn’t like the idea of losing her over this secret.

“Then why? Why couldn’t just tell me the truth Y/N?”

“I couldn’t…”

“Why?!? Do you not trust me?” She yelled.

“None of this is Y/N’s fault. We were the ones came up to Y/N about a job offer as our assistant manager. She wasn’t only our assistant manager back then but our ghostwriter as well. Our lyricist fled and suggested to take Y/N as his replacement.” Kyohei glared at Ryo.

“I said I was sorry!” Ryo raised his hands in the air.

“I hope you understand why we needed to keep this a secret, I apologize if I did something selfish for our own benefits,” Kyohei explained everything to Rina. He explained everything that happens from day one. “I’m also sorry for hurting your feelings. As time passed by I fell in love with your friend, please don’t get mad at Y/N.”

There was still a look of betrayal sadness in Rina’s eye. She wanted to get back at Y/N for this. “I’m going to tell the press about this.”

“Rina no! Please… Don’t do that…”

“I’m not going to listen to you.” Rina left them.

“It’s okay Y/N, I was planning to announce our relationship soon anyways but just be prepared for what’ll happen tomorrow.” Kyohei comforted her.

Back home, Y/N apologized for the band for causing trouble. Y/N meant no harm to the band, she’ll never forgive herself if something ruins Revance’s reputation because of her. She wouldn’t be able to live with the fact that she’s the reason that ruins something the band took care of for over ten years.

“Don’t worry Y/N we’re not that weak. We’re ready for everything that’ll come after us.” Stated Nagito.

The following day, everyone was anticipating on the news that could possibly ruin their reputation and gain hates from their fans for deceiving them this whole time. One hour, two hours, three hours, nothing out of the ordinary reached the press. This means that Rina didn’t go to any press to reveal their secret. Everyone waited until the day finished until they can breathe and not worry about the press.

From: Rina

Y/N can we talk, please?

Meet at our favourite restaurant and can you possibly ask the guys to come as well? I promise I mean no harm.

After reading the text, Y/N showed it to the guys. They happily agreed to go and meet with Rina as well.

Immediately upon their arrival at the set meeting place, Rina felt nervous. “I’m sorry for calling you guys out of the blue, I know how crazy your schedule must be.” Everyone nodded their head and she continued to speak, “I’ll get straight to the point, I’m sorry for my behaviour last night. Y/N and Sir Kyo I’m really sorry, I was just really hurt you know? I wanted to apologize for the rest of the band as well for saying those things about revealing your secret. I was being selfish, I didn’t even think about the consequences if I did tell the press your secret. As a big fan of yours, I feel ashamed for even threatening you guys.”

Rina was easily forgiven, this wasn’t something the members would hold grudge against. Since it was partially their fault that almost ruined a friendship. “So we’re okay now Rina?”

“Of course you silly! At least now I have a best friend that’s dating an idol! By the way, if you two ever get married I call being your maid of honour okay? Or bridesmaid, whatever works cause I know maid of honour will go to Kyohei’s sister.”

Everyone talked for a good twenty minutes before parting. Y/N was glad she was able to make amends with her best friend and she was also relieved that she was no longer keeping a secret away from Y/N.

A/N: I added a fight scene here to make it interesting... Hopefully, it’s not awful.

Y/N thought she knew everything about Kyohei. She thought that once she’s in a relationship with him, nothing will matter anymore, not even something in his past came to ruin the two of them. At least that’s what she thought. After Kyohei’s announcement of their engagement, a lot of his past relationship claimed how Kyohei cheated on them while they were in a relationship with him. Of course, Y/N didn’t listen to them, she knew better to ask Kyohei herself. Before she was planning to confront Kyohei, she bumped into one of the models. Y/N recognized her, Akina mentioned that they used to be a friend but not anymore. “You’re Y/N, right? Kyohei’s fiancée?” She smirked. “You should snap out of the fantasy world you’re living in. Kyohei used to date girls like me, you know, beautiful models with sex appeal? Unlike you, you’re so boring. I’m sure Kyohei will dump you just like he dumped us.”

“You’re right, Kyohei did date girls like you but did it not occur to you that maybe between the two of us, you’re the one that’s boring? Let’s face it, if you’re just like other girls then it means you don’t have your own aura to differentiate yourself from others. You don’t have your own originality. Oh and one more thing, just to remind you that it’s true that I’m not a model like you but…” Y/N stopped and raised her left hand. “I’m also the person that he decided to marry in the future, not you.” This pissed off the model and she stomped away from Y/N. However even though she said those things to the model, Y/N couldn’t help but feel insecure. She knew that Kyohei’s love for her is real but why does her heartache? 

That night Y/N did some research about Kyohei’s past relationships. There were some flings that he admitted but after that, he devoted his time to his fans instead of his playful romance. “Are you not going to sleep yet?” Asked Kyohei. This startled Y/N. “Oh.. um… not yet I have other things to do before I head to sleep.” Kyohei kissed her goodnight and reminded her not to sleep late, in fact, Y/N was writing more lyrics. She’s stacking them up before she needed to distance herself from Kyohei.

The following day Y/N acted normal. She followed Kyohei to his appointments but to their luck, they bumped into the model from yesterday. “Kyohei, it’s been a while.” She stated. “Hmm... I guess who are you again?” He asked. “Awwww come on Kyo, you used to call me when you’re needs were kicking in, whether it be backstage in the dark where no one could see or hears us or…”

“I’m sorry but we have to go now. I don’t want Mr. Rikudoh to be late because of someone who can’t get over their break up.” Y/N was fuming in anger. She grabbed Kyohei’s arm and made their way out of the building. Kyohei was smiling the whole time. “You’re quite a sassy one aren’t you Y/N.” He beamed.

“Whatever.” Y/N rolled her eyes at him. “Hey what’s wrong?” He asked. “You! You’re my problem!” There was a long pause between the two lovers. “Forget it. We’ll talk about it later.” She brushed it off but Kyohei wasn’t going to be annoying about it especially since he doesn’t know why she’s mad at him. “No, I want to talk about this now.” He crossed his arms causing Y/N to sigh. She mentioned about her encounter with the model and what they talked about. 

“I know that I shouldn’t listen to whatever she has to say but some of her words struck me. Why would you date or want to get married to someone like me? You’ve dated models before and they’re all beautiful so why me? I just want to know if you slept with a lot of models in the past Kyohei. That’s all I want to know and please be honest.” She looked up at Kyohei with glistening eyes. “I don’t know, but I can’t remember plus that’s all in the past Y/N.“ He scratched the back of his head. This hurt Y/N, what if she’s just another toy to him?  

The car ride was quiet. Kyohei didn’t like it when something like this happens. “Y/N, there’s nothing to worry about. They don’t matter to me anymore.” This really pissed Y/N off but she kept her mouth shut. Once they arrived home Y/N packed some clothes. The band members sense something out of the ordinary between the engaged couples.

Ryo and Nagito were the ones that went to investigate. “Y/N what’s going on?” Y/N had no choice but to let the two know what’s going on. They reassured her that Kyohei loves her, that there’s nothing to worry about his past relationships. “Y/N you need to understand that you’re the one he loves.” They comforted her unwavering heart. “I know but I need a break..”

Kyohei heard this and waited until she came down the stairs hoping he’ll be able to save their relationship. In a few minutes, Y/N came down with a small suitcase. She handed the notebook of lyrics she’s been working on. “Here, I’ve been trying to write new lyrics. You can choose whatever you like and then ask Ryo to edit some if you dislike them.”

“And where do you think you’re going?” Kyohei crossed his arms and had his eyebrow raised. “I’m going to stay away from here for a couple of days to write my new plot.”

“That’s bull Y/N! If this is about the model then -“

“I don’t have to worry about her. I heard you Kyohei, but the way you said it seems like you never cared or loved them. And maybe I’m just like them. I’ll just be past time for you.”

“So instead of fixing this, you’re running away?” He yelled.

The two argued and the band members looked like they were enjoying the show. “You might as well break up with me if you don’t trust me.”

Y/N walked towards Kyohei and rested her hand on his cheek, “I do trust you Kyohei, but I’m not going to break up with you. I just need time to process things. Right now we’re mad at each other we’re arguing, I think the best thing right now is to give each other space.” She kissed Kyohei on the lips. “I love you Kyohei, I promise I’ll be back. But please I need this for myself.” Kyohei agreed with her and let her go. He knew that being mad at each other might ruin their relationship and he’s one hundred percent sure that she’ll be back.

Although she announced to the members that she needed time away from the house she didn’t get much done. Her fight with Kyohei bothered her a lot. Her time away gave her time to think, the unwavering feeling she had was gone. She convinced herself that Kyohei wouldn’t do those things to her not when their relationship is very serious.

Upon her arrival back at the house, Kyohei greeted her with a big embrace, “What took you so long? I was very close to going to the hotel myself! Don’t ever leave me please.” 

“I’m sorry Kyohei but I’ve made up my mind.” He let go of his embrace. “I’ve made up my mind that I want to spend the rest of my life with you, and I’m sorry if I ever doubted your love for me.” Kyohei looked delighted when he heard her say those words. And the couple were back to their usual routine.

Upset Older Sister - Kyohei Rikudoh

The members of Revance decided to spend their day off at home. No interviews, no photo shoots, no filming. Everyone needed their rest and they planned to spend their day off wisely. A lot of things happened such as releasing new albums, meet and greet with fans, album signing and the fact that Kyohei proposed to Y/N.

It hasn’t been long since he proposed to her and he was glad that the fans were very supportive about his decision. Some fans were upset that there was no chance of stealing him away from Y/N. Above all of that, they were very happy. Kyohei wasn’t expecting his fans to accept the new right away but when they said that as long as he’s happy then they’re happy.

It was peaceful inside the house. Iori, Takashi, Ryo, Nagito and Kota sat in the living room watching a movie. Kyohei and Y/N on the other want were seated in the kitchen watching the movie as well. Since the living room and kitchen were connected there was no need for Y/N and Kyohei to move to the living room.

The door bursts open revealing a very angry Akina. “YOU!” She hissed as she pointed at Y/N. Nagito, Ryo, Takashi, Iori, Kota, Kyohei and Y/N were confused. “YOU LYING, CHEATING GOLD DIGGER STAY AWAY FROM MY BROTHER AND REVANCE!” Akina stomped towards Y/N still fuming in anger. Kyohei stood in front of Y/N and tried to calm his sister down.

“Akina, you need to calm down first. What’s wrong?” Kyohei asked in a gentle tone. “Your fiancée over here is a liar. She doesn’t love you Kyohei! She’s cheating on you! She only wants your money!”

“That’s no-” The sound of Akina’s hand slapping Y/N’s cheek was deafening. Everyone in the room was shocked especially Kyohei. “DON’T EVEN DARE MAKE EXCUSES! I saw you talking to a man holding his hand and you two were happily exchanging laughs and kisses!” She yelled. Kyohei didn’t know what to do, was it true? He looked at Y/N, just by looking at his eyes he was hurt. 

“I… I think I need to leave.” Fresh tears formed on Y/N’s face and dashed out of the house. Kyohei held the table as his support. How could Y/N do this to him? But then Kyohei remembered that Y/N didn’t have time because she was with him. “Akina, do you have a picture of Y/N that day?” He asked. 

In a swift motion, Akina took her phone out and showed her little brother the picture she took. When Kyohei examined the picture he let out a sigh and asked his big sister to apologize to Y/N. Akina was stubborn and refused to apologize to Y/N. “Akina, this is a photo of Y/N and I because we wanted to be alone and avoid the paparazzi. Of course, I had to wear a disguise. My disguises these days have gotten better because of her and seems to be effective. Even you, my very own sister, couldn’t even recognize me” Kyohei sighed. 

Akina started to panic because of all the hurtful words she told Y/N. She called Y/N immediately, but there was no answer. On the third call her call finally went through but Y/N wasn’t the one who picked it up. “Hello?” She answered. Akina asked the other woman on the line where Y/N was. “If you’re looking for Y/N she’s in the hospital.” This confused Akina, she started to blame herself for accusing Y/N. Her phone call was on speaker so the Revance members were also listening. “I’m just kidding! She’s just ordering coffee.” Y/N’s friend joked. 

At the other end of the line, Kyohei and Akina could finally breathe. They heard Y/N’s voice and she immediately took the phone out of the grasp of her friend. Akina apologized immediately for slapping her face, for accusing her and for calling her names. “Akina, I know you’re just looking out for Kyohei so I forgive you.” 

Kyohei’s big sister kept telling Y/N that she didn’t deserve YN’s forgiveness and that she’s too good for Kyohei. “Am I still invited to your wedding?” Akina asked timidly. “I don’t recall uninviting you, you’re Kyohei’s sister and you’re precious to him. I know he wants you to be there on his big day even if you don’t like me. Unless you don’t want to come to our wedding, then that’s fine as well.” Akina started to cry. The guys started to console her. Akina thanked Y/N once again before hanging up. Y/N told Akina that she wanted to spend some time with her friend before heading back to the house. “You’ve found a wonderful woman Kyohei. Don’t let her go. If you do something to hurt her I swear I will beat you up!” 

“Like hell, will I ever do anything stupid to let her go.” Kyohei scoffed. Kyohei is glad that the misunderstanding between his fiancée and older sister is resolved. Just like Y/N said, both of them are very special to him and he wants them to get along.

Waking up next to Kyohei is one of the best feelings in the world for Y/N. It seemed like eternity since Y/N and Kyohei had a day off and spend it together. Even though they see each other everyday due to the fact that Y/N is the assistant manage, work is work. They’re both very professional and separate their personal lives and work related matters. 

The Revance members also had the day off but they left the house. They figured they’d leave the two love birds alone. Y/N and Kyohei prepared their breakfast together and chatted happily like a normal couple. “My dear girlfriend, what would you like to do today?” He leaned in resting his elbows on the table with a grin on his face. 

Y/N thought about it for few seconds until she finally told him what she wanted to do. “Why don’t we just stay home and watch movies? That way, we don’t have to worry about being spotted outside on your day off.” Y/N replied wih a smile on her face.

Kyohei loved how simple Y/N is, in a good way of course. He knew that Y/N is the type of woman that wouldn’t care where he takes her on dates, she did say that it doesn’t matter where they go as long as they’re together. “Sounds like a plan.” Kyohei smiled. He helped Y/N put away dishes before grabbing blankets and pillows.

Once every thing was done, Kyohei pulled Y/N close to him. Y/N moved her body and cuddle Kyohei and watched movies. Y/N would often offer Kyohei popcorn and he would happily accept it. “This is quite nice actually. The guys are gone and we have the whole house to ourselves. And here I am with the loveliest girl.” He kissed Y/N’s forehead and continued to watch the movie. 

Y/N and Kyohei would often have a small conversation about the movie. They shared a few laughs, a few arguments, a few jokes and a few kisses. All in all they were having fun. Kyohei loved every single moment that he’s with Y/N. The two love birds were having lots of fun that they both fell asleep on the couch while the movie was still running. 

The Revance members walked in to see them cuddling close to each other. It was very cute and the only one who was happy about it was Nagito. He squealed like a girl as he closed his mouth. Iori, Kota, Ryo and Takashi went back to their rooms. Nagito turned off the television and smiled at them.

“On the second thought... You shouldn’t go to sleep yet Y/N. I haven’t given you your birthday present yet.”

You turned  to face him. “Kyohei.. I told you it’s fine. Now let’s go to sleep please.” You moved closer to him to add extra warmth to your body but Kyohei sad something else in mind. 

He caressed your thighs at first you thought it was just to calm you down to help you sleep but once his hand move up to your breast you opened your eyes. Kyohei was smirking down at you. 

Kyohei kissed you, hard. The kiss caught you by surprised causing you to freeze at first but soon melted into his kiss. His hands was still at your breasts and he continued massaging them. But for now, it’s a promise of my love to you and that you’re the only one for me.” Tears of joy rolled down your face. This was very unexpected and kissed Kyohei. “Thank you Kyohei, for making my birthday memorable.” 

“You’re welcome Y/N. Now... Let’s go to sleep. For real this time.” He pulled your close and the two of you fell alseep.

A/N: I wrote part of this on my birthday and today is the only day I finally finished it 😅

Even though today is your birthday, it was not an excuse for you to get a day off. However you didn’t really mind. It’s not that important anyways.

Throughout the day you were greeted by everyone and wished you a happy birthday. Even though you tell yourself it’s not important, it still made you happy that people remembered your birthday. You smiled at them and thanked them. But there is one person who hasn’t said those two words to you, even Takashi greeted you. 

Thinking to yourself that he has a lot of things in mind and most likely forgot about it. You wouldn’t blame him though because you, yourself almost forgot about it until you got greeted this morning. 

There is a photoshoot today and it made you happy that the band are all in one room other than the house. It may be weird but your birthday wish was to see them all together in a room and see them goof off. 

At the end of the photoshoot Nagito called out to you. “Hey Y/N! Wait up!” You turned around to seen an energetic blonde. “Hey Nagito! What’s up?” You and Nagito was having a nice long, fun conversation. After that he held a bag out giving it to you. 

“What’s this for?” You asked him. 

“It’s your birthday present silly!”  

You mentally slapped yourself. “Right.” You chuckled. “Thanks Nagi! But you didn’t have to.” You added. 

“Happy birthday Y/N!” He gave you a quick kiss on the cheek and ran off. “See you later Y/N!” You smiled whiled shaking your head. 

“Y/N! What are you doing just standing there?!?! Mr. Sasayama is doing all the work! You’re our assistant manager aren’t you? Go help him!!” Kyohei yelled at you. He was mad, but you didn’t know why. You followed his orders and made your way to Mr. Sasayama. 

Kyohei’s angry mood did not settle down at all, in fact it became worst throughout the day especially when you’re with Nagito. “Geez... What’s up with his butt, he’s becoming like Leader number 2 when he’s in monster mode.” Pouted Nagito. 

“I know right?! He’s been up all in my skin since this morning. Maybe he’s having an off day or something.” 

“Y/N don’t stress yourself out okay? It’s your birthday after all.” He said in a worried tone. Just then Kyohei marched towards you and Nagito. “Y/N!! Why are you slacking off so much today!” He yelled at you for the fifth time. Actually you’ve lost count on how many times he yelled at you today. 

“Kyo, take it easy. Y/N’s been working hard for the past month. Why don’t you let her off the hook, just for today.” The gentleness of Nagito’s voice made you smile. But that made Kyohei more angry than he was. Is that even possible?

Kyohei leaned in the two of you so that no one could hear. “Just because I’m dating Y/N, it doesn’t mean I’m going to treat her differently. Plus, what’s so important about today anyways.” Kyohei scoffed. 

You felt your heart shatter into a billion pieces. Just like you thought, your birthday isn’t so important. “Kyo.. You.. You forgot?” Kyohei looked at Nagito like he wasn’t making sense. “You forgot that it’s Y/N’s bir-” 

“Nagito. It’s fine. Don’t worry about it. Kyohei’s right, what’s so important about todays date anyways.” You chuckled. Nagito only looked at you with sadness written all over his face. “Well I’m going to go help Mr. Sasayama now. I’ll see you guys later!” You waved goodbye putting your best fake smile.

Kyohei kept an expressionless face when you left. “I still can’t believe you forgot what’s special about today.” Mumbled Nagito. 

“You were saying something?” Asked Kyohei. 

Nagito shooked his head and walked away.

Kyohei was still in a sour mood because he couldn’t shake off the feeling that he’s forgetting something. He even checked the schedule with Mr. Sasayama and everything was going smoothly. 

It was already nine o’clock in the evening. Everyone went home including you. Mr. Sasayama said that he didn’t need your help anymore so he sent you home.  He then got a call from his older sister. “How’s my little brother doing?”

“I'm okay I guess.” 

“What you do mean ‘I’m okay I guess.’ Wait... Am I interrupting a steamy session with you and Y/N?” She teased Kyohei. 

“If we were having a steamy session I would’ve just ignored your call.”

“I guess you’re right. Soooo.. Did you two do anything special today?”

“What’s so special about today anyways? Everyone’s saying that today’s a special day and its getting me frustrated.”

“Kyohei.. You’re an idiot.”

“What did I do now.” 

“You really forgot huh. What kinda of boyfriend are you?!?!”

“Just tell me what’s so special about today damnit!”

“You’re hopeless little brother. Since I like Y/N and want her to be my future sister-in-law, I don’t want the two of you to break up then I’ll tell you. It’s her birthday.” 

Kyohei almost dropped his phone upon hearing this. How.. How could he forget about this day? It is indeed special and he made it worst for you. Throughout the day he made it seem like you were in hell. “Akina, I... I messed up.” 

Kyohei told his sister what happened throughout the day and he earned some yelling from his sister. “I swear you can be such an idiot sometimes! You better fix this Kyohei. I can’t believe you forgot about her birthday! Man if I was only there in person I would’ve punched you without caring that you’re my little brother.”

It was now quarter to eleven and Kyohei isn’t home yet. You at least wanted to just cuddle with him even though he forgot your birthday. Yes, you were disappointed but we’re all humans and there are time where we’re bound to forget things when we’re really busy. 

You stayed comfortable in your bed and drifted off to sleep. You need lots of energy tomorrow since it’s another packed day. When is it never packed anyways?

Thirty minutes later, Kyohei arrived home and made his towards your room. Once he opened the door he saw you sleeping peacefully. He walked towards your bed and knelt down on the floor. His hand stroked your hair as he watched you sleep. 

“I’m sorry I forgot about today Y/N. I didn’t mean to, we were just so busy that it didn’t cross my mind. I guess time really flies huh. I’m sorry I made you suffer on your birthday. I’m sorry I got jealous over Nagito. I know he only gave you a present for your birthday but I couldn’t help it but get jealous you know? You’re mine, and I didn’t like the way how you were getting so close with Nagito. I’m really sorry Y/N.”

“So that’s why you were extra strict on me. You were jealous. I understand how busy we are and I didn’t really expect you to remember my birthday. It’s not important anyways.” You answered him while your eyes still closed. He was taken aback, he thought you were sleeping already. 

“Don’t say that Y/N. Of course your birthday is important and remember that. An idiot like me just totally blew it off but I swear, your birthday is very important. If not for you, then... to me. Don’t ever think that your birthday is not important because it is. If you weren’t born, then who’ll be our ghostwriter and my girlfriend? I’m really sorry Y/N I truly am.”

“You’re forgiven. Now please leave me alone. I’d like to sleep now. I was drenched with loads of work today and I’d like to rest.”

Kyohei chuckled. You scooted over to the other side making space for him. He laid down beside you and held you close. “Goodnight Y/N I love you.”
