Ok , folks get it together , a great way to celebrate the efforts of the UEDC team, helps them keep on Keeping on , young folks ask parents , elders about the Uptown Theater...remind them of this event, and SHARE THIS PLEASE Dear Friends of the Uptown, Thanks for your past participation in the Uptown Flea Market. Last year, with your support. we were able to raise valuable operating funds for the Uptown Entertainment and Development Corporation, UEDC. So we are doing it again! The Uptown Flea Market will take place under the marquee of the Uptown Theater, Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 11 AM to 3 PM. In addition to the Flea Market, the event will include the Grands as Parent's Health Fair, a healthy luncheon and lecture, and our very own Uptown Theater Tours. Please help us make our Flea Market a success by donating gently used small appliances, small electronics, art, jewelry, furniture, knickknacks, tools, free classes/lessons, lighting, baskets, plants, etc. The Uptown will not sell clothing. Please make a list of the items that you have collected and email the list to Andrea Brown, [email protected] by June 9th at the latest. Your lists will help us decide whether we need to pay someone with a truck to pick up donations, or if the items can be transported by car. Also tell her whether you will take your items to the Uptown prior to the event, or whether you need to have them picked up. Please dig deep into your closets; rummage through your basement and garage. Ask a friend or relative to give and item or two. The Uptown needs the your support!
