i just don't get how calling for a cease fire is anti semitic. I also don't get how saying Israel is bombing Gaza is anti semitic when they themselves literally say they are.

Hey! I happen to have to consume a lot of mainstream news media out of boredom/not by choice, and I just wanted to put it out there: I haven’t heard a single anchor on cnn, nbc, npr or msnbc refer to the relocation of migrants as anything but “human trafficking” or “kidnapping” in at least the last 36 hours. I think the “stunt” narrative is definitely shifting. (Idk about right-wing outlets, thankfully I don’t have to be exposed, but I’d assume they’re not even discussing it?)

Well, that's good at least. Because I have less than zero trust in the mainstream media to do their jobs properly, especially after all the pandering and water-carrying they have been totally blatant about doing for Republicans, I always just assume the worst and go from there (and I am, sadly, nearly always right). All the initial coverage that I saw was indeed likewise focused on the "stunt!!!" angle, as if this was some zany fun-times shenanigans by those lovable rascals, and just... all the GOP HAS is these despicable "stunts." Like Greg Abbott starting the "ship migrants to other places in hopes of Owning the Libs" and arbitrarily extending truck inspection times at the Texas-Mexico border to "catch illegal immigrants" (he caught none but cost his state like $40 billion, great job buddy!), that is all they DO. They don't even remotely pretend to be helping people. They just spend their time thinking of ways to be as mean and cruel as possible in order to Make Liberal Snowflakes Mad.

And like. This might make you big man on campus on the 4chan troll farm, but anyone who thinks it's just fun ha-ha behavior, or even serious political theory, from elected officials who can wield institutional power for huge amounts of harm, almost unchecked.... yeah.
