born on august 16th, 1997 in yeosu, south korea, chan-hee was born as the second and final child to two freelance photographers. as their parents were frequently in completely different countries, chan-hee and her older brother spent most of their childhoods being raised by their aunt. however, once they were both old enough, their parents often took their children with them on work trips. chan-hee would spend a lot of her time in countries such as the united kingdom, germany, singapore, and taiwan.

during her freshman year, chan-hee would participate in an exchange program to japan, alongside her brother. there, she would see T-ARA live for the first time, which was a group she already enjoyed. upon returning home, chan-hee found a new love for the music industry.

with the help of her brother, she auditioned for MBK ENTERTAINMENT, but failed to pass the first round. chan-hee would spend the next few months honing her skills, and would even attempt to appear on the fourth season of SUPERSTAR K, but would fail yet again. eventually, she would try her hand at auditions for BIGHIT ENTERTAINMENT in the fall of 2012. and although chan-hee would place second due to her inexperience, staff saw potential in her, and she was accepted regardless.

out of all the members of KRUSH, chan-hee took up the most modeling gigs during her trainee years, often modeling as a trio alongside kaleina and aeri. of course, as the GLAM scandal rocked bighit in 2014, many female trainees were forced to join other companies. however, since the three worked so well together, bighit surprisingly changed their minds, hoping that they could try their hands again at another girl group.

for the next two years, though, the girls' debut was constantly postponed. and as chan-hee's 18th birthday came and went, she considered departing from bighit to apply for college, as initially, she wanted to follow in her parents' footsteps. the longer their debut was postponed, the closer she came to adulthood, and to her, it seemed as if her career in the idol industry was on the rocks. however, with enough pleading from aeri and kaleina, chan-hee stayed.

Novo reality da Mnet promete uma competição feroz!

A Mnet acaba de confirmar através de suas plataformas oficiais o lançamento de um novo reality show de sobrevivência: JUNGLE!

Apesar da notícia não ter pego ninguém de surpresa, afinal boatos a respeito de um possível programa já haviam se espalhado pelas ruas, o anúncio causou grande alvoroço e comoção na população, principalmente nos fãs de reality shows de competição e do Aleph. O motivo de tamanha repercussão tem ligação com a parceria inusitada que foi anunciada para o programa.

Indo por um caminho diferente do que aconteceu nos seus realities anteriores, Produce 1 e 2, o novo reality show terá restrições quanto às participantes do programa. Nas apostas anteriores da emissora qualquer trainee tinha a oportunidade de participar da seleção, até mesmo trainees independentes foram permitidos. Entretanto, como o novo programa será feito em parceria com a Lunare Entertainment, que será a empresa responsável por gerenciar o grupo, haverá uma modificação nesse cenário.

Muitos fãs do Alpeh – e até da própria Lunare – estão empolgados com essa parceria, afinal a empresa nunca havia permitido que seus trainees participassem de realities shows anteriormente, então ter a oportunidade de conhecer um pouco sobre os trainee que a Lunare vem escondendo é realmente empolgante. Além disso, a fama mundial que o Aleph conquistou ao longo dos anos é um tempero extra para essa mistura de sentimentos que acompanha os fãs de competição desde o anúncio oficial da Mnet. Com certeza essa alta expectativa que estão colocando sobre as trainees da Lunare que irão participar será uma pressão extra para seu desempenho no programa.

Ainda não foram informados grandes detalhes a respeito do funcionamento de JUNGLE, mas já podemos sentir o gostinho da competição com o que temos até aqui. Segundo a Mnet, o programa contará com a participação de trinta (30) trainees, sendo uma parte da Lunare e a outra de empresas subsidiárias da própria Mnet: FNC, Maroo e MBK. O programa terá sua estreia no dia 03 de junho às 19h e terá como apresentadores oficiais o cantor Eric Nam e a ex-idol e atriz Im Jin-Ah. Ao todo, JUNGLE contará com cinco missões destinadas a testar as habilidades das trainees, além de rodadas de eliminação. No final, o programa pretende formar um girlgroup composto por seis integrantes.

A perspectiva de que JUNGLE será um sucesso é bem promissora, mas em momentos como esse precisamos nos lembrar de todos os escândalos e problemas que os realities passados da Mnet já causaram. Por mais que Park Taeyoung, CEO da Lunare, esteja afirmando que não haverá manipulação e compra de votos nessa edição, não dá para confiar totalmente quando o nome da Mnet está vinculado. Mas, apesar das especulações e teorias que já se formam na mente dos internautas, JUNGLE se mantém com uma imagem positiva nos principais portais de notícias e fóruns online.
