Updated canon divergency reference!!

Yessss heyyyy!! Let me start with that this blog is pretty much completely connected to @0mirrored0gold0 who is also the only person who can reblog this for reference! We have that, instead of one GG, there are two! who consider each other twins! One is a Grimwalker, Rain's, with the name Noel and the other is very much human, mine, who doesn't have a name but goes by Goldie to make things easy for everyone. Goldie is very much directly the child of Belos' older brother, @betwccnworlds, and the easiest way to explain this is timepool shenanigans.

Now, on to the episodes. Who appears in which as Hunter and what are the differences?

Separate tides: Noel (canon compliant)

Hunting Palismen: Noel (canon compliant)

[ Noel runs away from the Emperor's coven somewhere after this episode and before Eda's Requiem with Raine's help. And after Eda's Requiem stays at the owl house ]

Eclipse Lake: Goldie (canon compliant)

Any sport in a storm: Goldie (canon compliant)

Hollow Mind: Goldie (canon compliant, except for that Noel is there as well and Goldie doesn’t run away but goes back to the Emperor and convinces him that she’s still on his side)

Labyrinth Runners: Goldie (canon compliant, except Goldie hasn’t been staying at Hexside but comes there with Adrian. rest is all canon compliant!! meanwhile Noel is with Darius and the rest of the rebel bunch)

OTWAT, COTH & King's tide: Noel is with the catts and joins Luz with checking on Amity. the twins are reunited and everything pretty much follows canon from there. Both of them end up in the human realm.

TTT: Goldie and Noel get their chance to start bonding again and eventually get their own room in the cottage that they decorate with wolf, big cat (especially lynxes) and cardinal stuff. eventually they start sleeping next to each other again as well. Noel goes to the hospital sometimes. Goldie explores the realm with the others but also does her best to stay by Noel’s side. Goldie is the one who gets possessed.

also. finally a proper post. the name ‘Goldie’ is for before ending up in the human realm and the first couple of weeks there. the name ‘Hunter’ is from that point forward. I’ve always had the intention of them picking up that name as a way of aiming to become their own person and honestly??? that’s the right moment.

Basically these two have only ever had each other and were the Golden Guard together for years. Buuuuut somewhere after Hunting Palismen and before Eda’s requiem, Noel decided to run away with Raine’s help because everything was too much and his mental health wasn’t doing so good. Goldie, too brainwashed to notice even the slightest bit just how horrible the situation they grew up in is, feels abandoned and betrayed by Noel. The two had a massive fight. And their bond as twins is very strained.
