ANSWERED ASK from  @/starlightofdream  : ✘ - … An AU version of my muse (for Defteros) ♚ Meme: send me a symbol and i will write a drabble about my muse from the point of view of…
                — CHOSEN  AU : Private Threads (Uncle!Teros)
                                WARNING: Gender-bending, ambiguity
Defteros was casually munching on his cookie when Kardia suddenly barged into the Gemini Temple. One hand on her hip, she pointed her red nail at a now very-wide eyed Defteros and screeched.
“The twins told me that she’s eating a lot!!” Kardia’s statement was... confusing?? But then again, this is Kardia. She loved to throw people off, especially if she was joking. Defteros knew this. Yet, somehow, he still felt terrified.
He stuffed the cooking into his mouth an raised his hands into the air in surrender. Half-frightened that she was going to Scarlet Needle his ass, Defteros didn’t finish the treat when he spoke his defense, “The boys make very weird claims, Kardia. Who are we talking about?”
The busty woman inched closer to him with a very dangerous smirk on her lips as she spoke in a very seductive tone, “Oh, you knooow... I was hanging out in Cancer Temple with Marigold and your little nephews and they told me how aaaalll the girls tend to eat a lot when a certain something happens.”
“...yes?” Defteros wasn’t making any sense of this. But the story gave him enough time to properly chew his snack and finish it with a hurried gulp.
“And they told me about,” when she was close enough, the red nail scraped against the bottom of his chin, trailing it down to the nasty-looking bitemark on his neck as she spoke. “how a certain lady was eating a lot as well.”
Defteros instinctually shoved Kardia’s hand away from his neck, but instead of the usual irritation that he would have felt for someone touching his neck, his face burned with a heavy blush. He covered the hickey with his hand as he grumbled.
...eating a lot. What the fuck did that mean--
Tumblr media
Defteros jolted when the realization hit him. His blush gone--embarrassment gone! Oh, yes. Everything was gone and the only thing he could feel was INTENSE PANIC!!!
“No. Oh gods, no no no--” Defteros felt like his life was cut short. MERCY! He has so much to live for still!! He’s going to die! If this was what he thought it means, he’s going to die!!
Luckily, his panic seemed to be what Kardia was looking for and she laughed at his reaction.
“I’m only kidding! She eats a lot anyway, so it has nothing to do with what you two are doing,” the woman gave him an adorable smile, confirming that what she was earlier implying was a lie intended to get his blood pressure up.
                   Defteros died on the spot.
Gurl, there’s only so much stress a man can take!

ANSWERED ASK from  @starlightofdream: Fondness + Whoever you want (Twins) ♚ Meme:  Send me a number + an emotion and I will write a drabble/starter of my muse expressing that emotion!
♚— I know this isn’t a romance prompt and I could have easily made it about the twins, but I’m desperate for OTP content again, and I needed to get this idea out of my head before I lost it (since it was so sweet and it helped me go to sleep some nights ago). These are inspired by some songs from RINI’s “Constellation” album. Specifically ‘A Starry Night...’ for the first drabble and ‘For Days' for the second drabble.
Anyway, let’s get into the drabbles.
.
.
— ♕┊  Aspros x Manigoldo (Canon verse; AU)
Luckily, they weren’t in Sanctuary when this happened. They just happened to be around the same area while on their respective missions, and Aspros was nothing short of an opportunist when it came to bothering Manigoldo. As soon as he got the information of where Manigoldo was within the country, Aspros immediately went there. Showing up unannounced to Manigoldo’s hotel room was certainly entertaining, although… note to self: don’t use Another Dimension when inviting oneself into someone’s bedroom.
They had a few hours to themselves before they had to go in the direction of their respective missions, and Aspros wasn’t a patient man after weeks of abstinence.
“Aspros, what the hell are you doing?” Manigoldo groaned as Aspros tugged on his arm. The poor Italian just wanted to get some sleep in but had to be interrupted in the middle of the night by a not-so-courteous Greek. He had already scolded the Gemini earlier, but now that he was trying to crawl back into bed, Aspros started to annoy him like a dog wanting a treat.
“Getting you out, isn’t that obvious?” Aspros replied, refusing to let Manigoldo go back to bed. He pulled on Manigoldo’s elbow with one hand as his other flicked open Another Dimension. “The night is beautiful.”
Manigoldo let out another furious, tired groan, but he relented to Aspros’ persistent pulling while muttering under his breath, “I swear to God…”
Aspros wasn’t a heartless lover, though. When they stepped into the gridded plans of the space between realms, he pulled Manigoldo in front of him and embraced his narrow waists. The gentle action satisfied his partner a bit; Manigoldo hummed gently and leaned back until their bodies were flushed against each other. Aspros ducked his head and buried his face into the slot between Manigoldo’s neck and shoulder, silently savoring the warmth.
The quietness of Another Dimension was only for several seconds before the dark rift bled away to a coastal setting. The gentle crashes of the ocean were soothing to the ears and the night air was temperate--but Manigoldo immediately straightened his back.
“Shit,” the Italian cursed under his breath as he untangled himself from the Gemini Saint’s arms. Aspros allowed the Italian to break away with his brows raised in gentle, stupefied shock. Of course, he anticipated the Caner Saint’s tentativeness. After all, it could only take one set of eyes to catch them for their secret to get out.
When they were a step away from each other, he finally said, “Why so bashful? It’s not like there are people around this late at night.” He emphasized his point by glancing around.
This section of town was rather deserted. Aspros had clocked the location when he first traveled through some days ago. He noted that it was a scenic spot. A moderately large section hidden away from town by a wall close to the ocean, and there was the faint melody from a nearby restaurant the rich would attend.
In their stillness after the words were uttered, their ears picked up on the distant, slow song.
Confidently, Aspros closed the gap between them. One arm immediately found its way around Manigoldo’s waist while the other clasped and raised the other’s. Without giving Manigoldo much room to reject the unspoken demand, he took a step backward while leading Manigoldo to follow him. It didn’t take long for the couple to fall into a slow, romantic cadence with the full moon and the stars as the only audiences to their intimacy.
“You’re insufferable,” the Italian grumbled without anger as he rested his head against Aspros’ shoulder. The words made Aspros laugh.
“Am I, now? That’s a first, my dear,” he replied to his sleepy companion.
“Shut up,” Manigoldo glanced up just in time to catch Aspros’ smug grin.
After a moment of gentle swaying to the faraway serenade, Manigoldo murmured in a breathy, captivated sigh, “I love you.”
“Mm.”
He didn’t know why, but a certain warmth that he hadn’t felt in a very long time rushed like a gentle wildfire inside of him. Perhaps to those with a weak will, they would have found some sort of comfort or excitement at the feeling, but Aspros found it irrationally distressing. However, he couldn’t act upon his agitation. Not when Manigoldo was staring at him with that sort of loving expression.
Instead, he falsified his compassion for the man’s love and offered his softest smile.
Carefully avoiding the words under the guise of not wishing to break the ‘special’ moment, the man placed a gentle kiss against his partner’s brow.

— ♛┊ Defteros x ? (intentionally ambiguous; private thread AU)
Defteros wasn’t a romantic. Oh, by far he wasn’t. He hated that shit with more passion than he hated being forced to communicate with people. For sure, Aspros was the helpless, corny, and stupid romantic out of the two.
He wouldn’t, say, take his significant other out to a way too expensive restaurant and pull them to the side to slow dance with them. He also wouldn’t get touchy and suffocate his partner with kisses while out on a walk. No, that kind of public affection was inherently gross by all standards.
Honestly, how the fuck can Manigoldo stand to suffer those embarrassing situations? Aspros was just so embarrassing…
Anyway, although Defteros doesn’t consider himself a romantic, it didn’t mean he didn’t have moments of tender fondness for his partner. They were rare and strictly reserved to the comfort of their private spaces.
Today happened to have one of those moments. And, unfortunately, it wasn’t exactly in private when it happened.
They were hanging out in the old house that Aspros and Defteros grew up in--the one that formerly belonged to their caretaker Klotho. It was a good place, honestly. Not too far from Sanctuary, spacious enough to have a small gathering, and honestly it could probably be a good spot to settle down in. How did Aspros manage to get the place, Defteros had no fucking idea, but he’s glad that it belonged to them regardless. He finally had a real ‘home’ to wait for his brother in--someplace that didn’t put them both at risk of severely breaking Sanctuary rules.
Anyway, Aspros and Manigoldo were cuddling on the sofa in the parlor. Aspros was telling Manigoldo about their last caretaker and their childhood adventures with the woman. Defteros had zoned out some minutes into the stories, finding himself distracted in the kitchen raiding the wine cabinet. Aspros’ voice was a soft murmur from this far away...
Just as he poured himself a glass of red wine, a short body wrapped their arms around his waist from behind. Defteros grunted before he patted the hands that locked together just above his navel.
“Bored of brother’s stories already?” Defteros asked as he took a generous taste of his drink. The face that was pressed against the middle of his back shivered. At first, Defteros thought it was his partner getting cold, but before the worry could prompt him to ask, he heard the soft giggling.
“No,” they said innocently. Their voice was soft as if they didn’t want to bring attention to themselves. “I just didn’t want you to be lonely.”
If the words were uttered a second earlier, Defteros would have choked on his drink from the unexpected butterflies that exploded in the pit of his stomach.
In a fluid motion, he placed his cup on the table, untangled the small hands, and pulled his small lover over him as he sat down at one of the chairs nearby. The bright-eyed beauty was caught by surprise by the man’s boldness that they gaped at him from their perch on his lap.
At the moment, Defteros was caught up by an overwhelming, undefinable feeling; he cupped his partner’s face and pulled them down so that he could place a kiss on their forehead.
He really cherished how idiotically thoughtful his companion was.
Unfortunately, that happened to be the exact time Manigoldo and Aspros decided to come into the kitchen for some wine…
“Oh!” Manigoldo’s voice pierced through the moment like a harpoon. Startled by the sound, Defteros abruptly jumped back. All too soon, his gentle physical touches were ripped away and the only evidence that anything happened between the two was the fact Defteros’ partner had frozen in their spot on his thighs.
Manigoldo didn’t seem bothered, but he laughed and hesitated to walk further into the kitchen, “Are we about to interrupt something?”
Defteros groaned as he hid his burning face from the others by staring stubbornly out the window, “No. Nothing was happening.”
Like a little betrayer, though, his partner innocently supplied, “Nothing yet.”
Aspros, who had his arms circled around Manigoldo from behind, raised his brows in muted surprise. Just from the seconds-too-long silence that stretched, Defteros knew that the embarrassing couple had made a ridiculous assumption.
“If you want,” Aspros hummed like a dumbass. “Mani and I could… Take a walk for like thirty minutes or so?”
“You’re a moron,” the knee-jerk reply from Defteros was venomous, but not life-threatening.
“Ah, yes, perhaps a walk would do. Come on, Manigoldo,” Aspros played along with his joke and decided to go through with the proposal. With a gentle tug, he led Manigoldo back out of the kitchen, and it wasn’t long before the front door creaked open and closed to signal the couple’s departure.
...Defteros wanted to formally die.
But his partner laughed. Their soft fingers gently pulled Defteros’ chin until he was facing them again. They smiled sweetly, “Now, where were we?”
Well… They were alone for half an hour...

ANSWERED ASK from  @starlightofdream: Tenderness + Whoever you want (Defteros) ♚ Meme:  Send me a number + an emotion and I will write a drabble/starter of my muse expressing that emotion!
-- Private Thread AU - ALTERED     WARNING: M/F-M (them/their pronouns to maintain ambiguity); Ambiguous, R16
Defteros was never a gentle person. Nor was he a kind lover.
He never considered the feelings or the physical wellbeing of any of his night partners after he had his way with them. Their wellbeing was their own responsibility, and he was already out the door before morning. And, sex aside, his empathy for the weaker people ran short, if not dry. He just couldn’t bring himself to care much about other people.
...Well, until he finally encountered the one that made him act so unlike himself. Sweaty palms, nervous heartbeats, and the resolve--the urge, the desire--to be away from them. To run away from them. Whatever sorcery they put on him--whatever enchantment, spell, curse… He wanted to get away from it--to break free from it and return to his cynical views on the world and uncaring, morbid nature.
‘Emotions’ were too overwhelming for him, a Shadow, a scrap of existence; an afterthought...
But this person was so persistent. Always seeking him out no matter how well he hid from the public view--always sparing a moment of the day to seek him out with their eyes… He wanted them to disappear, but on the days when they couldn’t seek him, he felt an indescribable, scary longing.
Aspros had teased him about looking like some lovelorn puppy during those days, and Defteros did well to repay the comment by roundhouse kicking the lovesick clown to the Cancer Temple.
When that person finally came to him one night with a confession at the edge of their lips, Defteros had forced them to take an indirect rejection. A condition he proposed unto them: lay with him and lose him, or keep their purity and cherish him from afar. He was not one to pass up fleshly pleasure, but he needed to draw a line. He couldn’t be bothered by emotions--by feelings--by a partner. It was a rocky week while they weighed his conditions--and he had hoped that it waned their feelings for him…
But, oh, he couldn’t have been proved any more wrong... And how did he ended up not breaking away from them after their first night, Defteros still couldn’t wrap his head around that. The person clung to him, followed him, and showed such a resolve that forced the young twin of Gemini to come to terms with what he was avoiding.
“You can’t leave,” they said with tears in their beautiful, clear-blue eyes after they slapped him across the face. “And I won’t stop coming to you. So, stop running away, you big, scared pussy-cat!”
He was never a gentle person, but he hates admitting that his partner was showing him how to be.
It was morning, and Defteros had woken up before his partner had. Not that surprising, but usually they had gotten up to around the same time since they had to prepare for their rough day. Saints never had it easy… Something Defteros never had to experience since he wasn’t a Saint, but he did see his brother and the in-law come home exhausted every now and again. Still... As gently as he could, Defteros reached out and drew the smaller body against his with a hug. He inhaled deeply at their physical contact; he could feel their body heat warming him up a little… Ah, it must have been a cold night...
“Hm…” his partner groaned as they sleepily patted his muscled arms. They were mostly asleep, but his action had made them aware of their surroundings. “You’re freezin’...”
“Cold night,” Defteros nuzzled his face against their hair. They gave a sleepy moan of acknowledgment before wiggling their body back to completely eliminate any space between them. Defteros grunted, then chuckled under his breath at their childish actions. Well, that’s one way to ‘warm up’.
“Don’t you think it’s too early for that?” he asked as he continued to hold them in his arms. Yet his eyes were already cracked open as he peered over to look at their expression.
“I have nooo idea what you’re going on about,” they bit their pump, pink lips as a smile crept on their lips. Oh, they knew what they were going on about. Especially since they kept wiggling their hips against his...
“You’re playing innocent on me? Shame on you,” Defteros huffed. He leaned over and, as lightly as he could, bite those pink cheeks. His partner laughed, shifted, and placed their lips against his.
Defteros didn’t consider himself a romantic. If anything, he was a brute and a savage. But this person always seemed to keep bringing up new sides of him he didn’t know could be brought into being. Every new emotion, element, and non-destructive thought was like a firefly lighting up the never-ending darkness that plagued him.
After their short and soft kiss, the couple pulled themselves to sit on the bed. A small routine of theirs whenever they caught each other in their arms from the night prior. Defteros had them in his arms still, their tiny body fit in the gap between his crossed legs; they leaned against his large chest, letting the ends of their nightgown ride up to reveal their thin thighs as their knees were bent. They placed one hand over his arms, and the other on his knee almost as if reassuring him that the day wouldn’t end in their death during their fight for Athena.
Defteros sighed against their soft, brown hair.
“You have it hard,” they whispered, but the words were loud in Defteros’ ears. Defteros had cocked his head to get a better glimpse of their face, but he could only see an expression of reflection. “To be waiting here while your closest people fight a battle they probably won’t survive.”
“...” Defteros knew why they would utter such words. They had their own history regarding being on the sidelines while their most important person fought. Defteros readjusted his arms around them before knocking his forehead against the crown of their head--it hurt a little, but the pain made them jump back from their memories with a soft yowl.
“Don’t think of it,” he hummed before they could react with an angry rant about their soft little head. “Just make sure that you, brother, and the other one makes it back. I would hate to raise Aspros’ three little brats all by myself with these fools of Gold Saints…”
“Haha!” his last few words had hit their metaphorical funny bone, and a small grin pulled at the corner of his lips at the sound of their laughter. “You know, fair! I can’t leave you with those kids and the disaster that the rest of the Gold Saints are. Gods, Kardia would be such a terrible babysitter…”
“You know it,” Defteros started placing random kisses upon the area he had headbutted in his half-ass way of making up for the action. “And Aldebaran would probably lose them as he plays hide-and-seek. Last time, the twins nearly marched out of Sanctuary… Brother and the in-law were so furious. Those two could barely take care of three children, and here they are, wanting another.”
His partner tilted their head to look up at him, gripping both of his arms with a touch barely there, “And you?”
The question that was said aloud was simple, but the look in those questioning, thoughtful eyes… Defteros knew what the unspoken words were, and he shook his head.
“Another time,” he couldn’t bring himself to outright reject them. After all, he knew their stance on the matter. Although he was reluctant about the subject, he would go through with it when they were physically better. Until then, he had to keep putting off the request in this manner.
He distracted them from disappointment by swiftly delivering a quick peck to their forehead, then their temples. “You know, you’d look really good in a crown,” Defteros purred as a joke, as he rocked his body slightly, taking them with him.
“A crown? So that I can finally be the royalty of your Kanon Island?” they laughed as they allowed themselves to be Defteros’ huggable rag toy.
“Well, I think that’s going too far…”
“Wh… Says the man that declared himself the King of ‘Puppy Hill’ yesterday!”
“N-now, listen here…”
