I love Gundam and especially the perpetually Badass if messed up zeon remnants in U.C. but i have been wondering about the Zeon Remnants or how do they survive in the Earth Federation?

so I’ve been developing a theory here the conversion goes like this:

Clearly, they were a constant threat early on but in 0096 Full Frontal says that "Time has frozen for them" and heavily implied they were mostly inactive for a long time. Also why The hell were there so many remnant enclaves basically bin plain sight? In Gundam Unicorn, they literally have a base in a wrecked Pegasus Class assault ship that was completely exposed in a mountain. Why would the feds not take out such on obvious base? @Jean-Luc Martel The Zeon remnants on earth are just plot-device, how many and how active are myths that based on new release video games and mangas, whenever there are needs to have some Zeon in the story to hype up the audience, the Zeon remnant comes out the shadow with questionable numbers. Though there are sources clams that Zeon remnants do trade with the locals and keep their MS running with scarp parts, there is no way they can operate without proper supply for as long as 17 years. Base on the One Year War handbook, After the defeat at Odessa, most of the Zeon on earth rush to bases with launch site side to return to space, most of then are destroyed or surrender after the main Zeon bases that include launch site (such as California base) fallen to E.F.G.F hands. The Zeon remnants fraught mainly in Africa and are either destroy or surrender by UC.0081, include most of the Zeon U-boat forces. Show less REPLY

Jean-Luc Martel54 seconds ago @Morisawa Kenji you aren't factoring in the MANY other zeon movements wars etc... into those numbers. I also think they are covertly supported by the corrupt Earth Federation (like ISIS is in real life) to provide an excuse for their BS. It basically says that VIST and the Sleeves have an arrangement in Gundam Unicorn. how else do you explain a place like Paulau being left alone? I mean where the hell did the AMA-X7 Shambloo and NZ-666 Kashatrya come from? isn't anybody keeping an eye on these guys? As for more mass-produced units, there was plenty of salvage for Zaku and other basic MS to keep them running. the real problem comes with a one-off or limited run MS like the MS-08/TX Efreet, only made 8 of those to start with and that was way back in OYW. so how the hell is one still tooling around and kicking ass in 0096??
