This castle holds the title for Guinness World Record's largest cave castle in the world.

Stands in the middle of a 403.5 foot (123 meters) high cliff

It is 800 years old

It features a network of secret tunnels where the knight Erazem of Predjama would set out on plundering expeditions.

The cave under the castle is home to a colony of bats

The cave under the castle also spans 4 floors and is the second largest Slovenian cave

Has hosted the Discovery Channel team, which found the castle to be inhabited by some ghosts!

You can walk through the castle's armoury, chapel, kitchen and torture chamber.

This castle features a rich collection of plate armours and midieval weapons such as lances, halberds, swords, hammers, bows, and crossbows.

The Castle is open every day, even during holidays and bad weather. The cave is open only from June to August due to the bats' hibernation period during the rest of the years.
