Okay wait. I’ve slept on this but I’m still mad about this but on a level of, like— Once again, she is being seen as an idol and not a human. Why would you accuse her breakup of being “not particularly interesting”??? Should she have been abused for you?? Do you want her to have suffered more than cheating (as implied in Pandora’s Box)?? Should she not have used art to talk about her feelings??? Were YOU there for the relationship?? Do YOU know how much it hurt her or every last bit detail of what went down?? God you people are so fucking entitled to this woman’s misery and it’s truly just fucking repulsive!!!

#listen adiaml is not without flaw #now that I’ve listened to it a dozen times I skip Goodbye and Flowers and ILYBILMM and PtP unless I’m specifically in the mood for them #but this take was just like so off the mark and so selfish and so short-sighted #Then again… I know too much about Marina’s writing process and what she was doing w this album and with L+F #So maybe without that insight the album is wack. idk #anyway #marina diamandis #adiaml #ancient dreams in a modern land
