Okay okay, Emma and Jacob being the best book relationship ever? Yeah. I refuse to call anything I say from this point on corny because it’s just the truth
Emma and Jacob have the most beautiful, joyous, (honestly realistic) relationship I’ve ever read. I will say I’m only a good halfway through hollow city right now but I doubt that matters much. It’s so willingly mutual between them that it makes me cry. Everytime i read a scene between them, even if it’s not romantic, it makes me feel like I’m right there watching it unfold. Of course, Ransom plays a part in that beauty but still. It’s so rare to see two characters working so magnificently together. Every romance in that story is amazing but I’m always gonna be bias to Emma and Jacob. It’s literally in his blood to love her. And hell, why not, Hugh and Fiona too. Not the blood part obviously. We don’t get all that much of them but my god, there’s something about them. He met her in a flower field while feeding his bees? Are you kidding? Are you kidding me? You’re kidding me. That’s. Augh. Absolutely serendipitous

Real World Effects
It’s amazing that in a time when social media is at it’s peak, algorithms hide your posts from 97% of your followers, bots & spam are rife, you can only reach 10,000 fans or more if you pay real money for advertising & people are still unable to disconnect from these digital behemoths (social media platforms) for fear of losing out.
But you’ve made no actual real world gains in all your time on social media so what are you afraid of losing? Seriously.
It’s amazing that in a time when social media is at it’s peak, people cannot see that the actual peak is made from a pile of bones left behind by people (who died waiting for social media to produce real world progress). Yes, social media is where good ideas, good people & ‘good artists work’ go to die or at the very least see their work plagiarised.
If people ever figured out that devoting more of their time to real world solutions for themselves & cohorts is 100 times better for them than devoting any of their finite time to the pretty lights of social media…I wonder if they would believe this post?

I just get so angry when I see people post art that they didn't make themselves without crediting the artist and sourcing their work - it's wrong and it also proves that they didn't have the artist's OK to post it. Sorry for my previous tirade, I just can't stand seeing artwork being used like this, especially when it's the art of someone I know. I know I have anger issues, and I know I'm not the most emotionally stable, and I know I need treatment for that. It is hard to find. And I really want to get better. But, I have no tolerance for improper use of artwork, and as such I have an immense hatred of sites/apps like Pinterest, Amino, and Know Your Meme, which are rife with disgusting art thievery. As much as I can wish, I know those sites, and that app, won't be going anywhere. But I can take comfort in the fact that there are at least some Aminos out there run by mature people who know it's wrong to use art without proper credit and artist's consent and make it a rule that you must do these things in order to use someone else's work, which should be required for all Aminos, and of course, that Aminos are SUPPOSED to be a place to CREATE YOUR OWN CONTENT, and I'm glad some Aminos won't tolerate just posting something that isn't theirs. If you have permission from the artist to use their artwork in an Amino post, make sure you're not just posting their artwork. It should only be used to illustrate an original post of yours, such as a poem, fanfic or theory. Don't just post it and credit and source with nothing else. That's spam. *glares at the BATIM amino* THIS *points angrily at it* is why I'm too scared to draw BATIM fanart. Yes, I know I just drew something Bendy related, but that was only because I had a funny idea that came from playing Splatoon 2. I can be thankful I'm not popular enough for my art to be a target - but for all I know, I easily could be regardless. And yes. I know I use Amino. But the only ones I really participate in are the SU and Undertale Aminos, both run by people who won't allow art theft. They enforce crediting and sourcing the artists (though I'd love to enforce proof you have the artist's permission to use any work that isn't yours, I know that's harsh, but artists need to know what you're doing with their work and I want proof you have their consent, because consent is equally as important as credit). Still, those two Aminos make me grateful that at least there are some non-artists out there who get it. That said though, Pinterest is still disgusting, and KYM, although it provides information about memes, has an art theft problem too. Fandoms and works of fiction have their own entries, and as a result fanart makes its way into the Image Galleries. Heck, the image database is insulting, period. It's bad enough any fanart of the topic gets stolen and reposted there, but also meme images too. I don't think the people who made those images would be happy seeing them where they didn't post them, either. This is why it's bad. I did make a KYM account once to fight all those reposters. Obviously, it wasn't a smart idea. I just want to fight for everyone, though I realize that the artists themselves should be handling the improper use of their art, and I should let them mind their business and just handle whenever I get my art treated like this. But I just...care. I care about all the artists whose work they put into only for it to be posted somewhere and they didn't have a say in it let alone be properly credited. This is why I tend to jump the gun and report reposted art even when it isn't my own work, because in my eyes, they deserve to be reported. Most reposters are self entitled brats who think all artwork online is in the public domain for everyone to use when it's not, it's copyrighted to the artist who drew it, even if it's fanart. And their reposting of said art is copyright infringement. There's too much artwork stolen on Pinterest, Amino, and KYM and other art-thieving cesspools to report it all to every artist online. If it was that easy, those sites and apps could get shut down like they deserve, but that won't happen. The web is too complex and there are too many people to have all this dealt with. And it's terrible.
