Tsuna and Skull kiss at least once on their road trip
No romantic feelings they just did it for funsies
(Does this get caught on camera? Who knows. Maybe Hibari and Reborn will see it or maybe they won’t. It’d be funny if they did though)
If Tsuna and Skull were to seriously kiss while out on their road trip (instead of Skull just smacking a loud and obviously playful kiss to Tsuna's cheek or something of the like) it would absolutely be while they were cuddled up together on Skull's airship doing cliche teenage girl sleepover activities because Skull learned the cathartic beauty of nail painting and face masks years ago and he will be sharing them with Tsuna.
They're gossiping and it comes out that, despite all the bullshit and drama in his life, Tsuna's never actually kissed anyone before and he's honestly super nervous about it.
Skull: We can fix that right now if you want?
Tsuna: *brain rebooting* Y-you? Me? K-Kiss?
Skull: I mean, I can get Oodako if you'd rather?? No judgment, chase your bliss.
They end up actually kissing because Tsuna knows Skull won't make fun of him and Skull knows from experience just how damaging a bad first kiss can be sometimes and he'd rather that not happen with Tsuna.
And it's not horrible but it's not good either. Like, the kiss itself is technically good but, well, they're not actually attracted to each other. So it ends up being very educational for Tsuna instead with Skull giving him little hints like "tilt you head" or "breathe through your nose" etc.
In the end, Tsuna gets a confidence boost and they end up a lot more comfortable with each other physically than they already were, which is saying something.
That new comfort level may or may not get translated into some of the videos that Spanner ends up showing the others being a bit more heavy on the Tsuna-Skull touchy-feely scale.
Which is, of course, enough to make Reborn and Hibari want to chew glass.

Tasea!
Okay so I just stumbled upon your Tasea au and it's living rent free in my mind.
Skull and Tsuna just living their best life while Hibari and Reborn are chewing glass is my favorite thing ever
Consider this:
Both Skull and Tsuna become ridiculous strong throughout this trip.
They don't even notice it.
It starts with casual convos about how they use flames, then experiments, light spars etc.
Turns out not being in mortal peril 24/7 does wonders for some people.
So from time to time, videos of them come to light, Tsunas twink ass obliterating someone in an arm wrestling match. Skull killing it in some weightlifting challenge or doing some insane acrobatics.
Videos of them sparring without flames in open parks or maybe being stumbled upon in abandoned warehouses.
Everyone who isn't Reborn or Hibari can actually see how good this is for them.
Gokudera keeps a collection of "Decimo being Amazing" pictures and videos he finds. That's his best friend after all!
Maybe Reborn would feel slightly jealous that even his teacher position was usurped, but he's kinda busy picking which leash he's going to put on Skull the moment he catches him.
Hibari is listening to Olivia Rodriguez during his speedrun of becoming the world most feared Hitman (only possible because Reborn is busy picking which tracker to put under Skulls skin once he finds him) in search of Tsuna
Sometimes, he picks a random grunt to ask for relationship advice.
I also like to think that as time goes on, a whole countersquad starts to form.
Like they notice that maybe they have some things to talk out, and that's why they keep searching, but they aren't per se helping Hibari or Reborn either.
But yeah anyway I love this au
I need a 100 chapter fic injected i to my veins pronto, but als I don't have that kind of talent... R.I.P
See, the thing is, it's not that Tsuna and Skull become ridiculously strong during their little vacation.
They're both already monstrously strong in their own right.
It's just that, for the first time since they were each dragged into this lifestyle kicking and screaming, they're spending time with someone who A.) learns in a similar fashion and B.) also understands what it's like to be given no choice about this entire thing.
So, for the first time, they're both ,,, comfortable.
Tsuna can ask questions without having to worry about dodging bullets or having to scream to be heard. Skull can impart his hard and bloodily won knowledge on someone without having to hear any "well actually" type bullshit because the way he uses his Flames is technically "wrong".
So of course that means they both start rapidly progressing.
Skull is able to describe things to Tsuna in terms that he understands and can actually visualize. Tsuna is so genuinely open to whatever it is that Skull's doing that Skull no longer feels the need to really hide.
Tsuna gets his hand-to-hand and acrobatic skills refined. Skull starts really opening up about what he's capable of.
They both refine how they look at and utilize their Flames.
They both stop caring about what everyone else is going to say/do.
On the opposite side of the situation, Reborn is ready to chew glass, Hibari is actively forcing other people to chew glass, and if Kusababe has to deal with Kyo-san turning to him one more time asking about why "the little animal fled" he's going to look into taking a vacation of his own.
The others, having now seen countless videos and photos of Skull and Tsuna taking the world by storm together, are starting to reevaluate what they think/know of the situation.

TBH the lack of Real Respect Tsuna and Skull both get makes me wanna see ‘em just… Vanish. They aren’t hurt, or in trouble, but they both end up tired as hell and want like. One (1) year to themselves, without being called shit like useless or lackey or weak. So they fuck off and onto some whimsical journey across the world, probably running into the fair folk or some shit (because Tsuna’s Super Anxiety would make him a damn hard target for them, and I feel like they’d just Vibe with Skull. Immortal and all that).
Meanwhile, everyone back in Namimori is losing. their. shit. Trying to find their two dumbasses, flipping every damn stone over because they’ve Clearly been kidnapped. No One notices the note Tsuna and Skull left, because Skull still isn’t the best at writing and Tsuna’s Super Anxiety kicked in and said that if he wrote it he’d never get his goddamn vacation.
To clarify, this is meant to be (mostly) humorous, but I’m curious to see where you’d go with an idea like this. I just want Skull and Tsuna to travel the world together TBH. Feel like they’d make good brothers.
Oh oh yes. Obviously there'll be humor but, well, it's me and we all know how these things eat my brain and I have to give them some bite so:
Skull isn't really one of Arcobaleno that Tsuna generally spends much time with.
When it comes to the Strongest, the ones Tsuna's found himself spending the most time with has always been Reborn and, surprisingly enough, Fon.
Reborn is around more often than not, content to keep torturing Tsuna even if his official title has shifted from Demon Tutor to Demon Tutor/Advisor.
And Fon's tendency to stop by frequently can be chalked up to I-pin and the fact that, for some reason, the Storm seems to be under the impression that hanging around Tsuna will, somehow, help him grow closer to Hibari.
Which is something that doesn't really make much sense to Tsuna. Even after years of being dragged into and out of various ridiculous shenanigans together, and despite recent Hibari's tendency to commandeer Tsuna's bed or floor or balcony at random times to nap, Tsuna's still not convinced that Hibari actually remembers he exists whenever they're not in the same room together.
And sometimes not even then.
A part of Tsuna also suspects that the "Small Animal" title he carries now might just be Hibari's way of getting around the fact that he doesn't remember Tsuna's actual name anymore.
It is, much like most everything else involving Hibari and Tsuna's thoughts about him, confusing and difficult for Tsuna to make up his mind about.
So, besides Reborn's continued sadism and Fon regularly attempting to use Tsuna as some kind of emotional Switzerland and/or human sacrifice to Hibari, Tsuna tends to see the other Arcobaleno on a bit of a floating schedule.
Viper, as Reborn has taken to insisting everyone outside of the Varia call the Mist, tends to blip in and out every once in a while. Often bringing news from Xanxus and leaving with anything strawberry flavored in Tsuna's house and whatever money he might have in his wallet at the moment.
Lal Mirch and Colonello tend to arrive and depart together, attached at the hip now no matter how much they bicker.
Verde's version of checking in seems to come in the form of sending whatever new robot or nightmare construct he's thought of to attack Tsuna and "gather data".
But Skull?
Tsuna rarely sees Skull.
The Cloud floats in and out of town only rarely and never stays longer than absolutely necessary. Often times he's gone within the hour.
Which is, in Tsuna's opinion, actually kind of a shame.
Because the thing is, Tsuna actually likes Skull.
Oh, he hadn't a few years ago when they'd first come across each other.
No back then Tsuna had hated each new and increasingly ridiculous trap/trick/shenanigan and situation Reborn had managed to push him into.
Skull had just been another irritation on a rapidly increasing list of things Tsuna hadn't wanted to deal with.
But ,,,
Well, it hadn't taken Tsuna long to realize that Skull and he were much more alike than he'd ever thought possible back at the beginning.
And now, with a few years of Reborn and this mafia headache under his belt?
Now Skull's someone that Tsuna wouldn't actually mind seeing more of.
Even though he knows it's not likely to happen.
Mainly because Tsuna's not actually a complete idiot no matter what some people still seem to think.
Tsuna's seen enough interactions between Reborn and Skull to have a pretty good idea about where some of the chips in that relationship fall.
Plus Hyper Intuition is helpful for more than just life-or-death battles these days even if Tsuna's not made that fact as openly obvious as he might once have.
It's yet another area in which Tsuna's found he can sympathize with Skull.
Because Tsuna also has a hyper-violent sadist he half wishes he could care less about sometimes.
Which is why Tsuna's so surprised to see a familiar pair of leather-clad legs dangling over the edge of the roof when he steps out onto his balcony, desperate to escape the screaming and general chaos that has once again taken over his house.
Tsuna goes to call out only for that familiar flare of warning heat to snap his mouth closed.
Instead Tsuna does something that he wouldn't have been able to a few short years ago.
He reaches up, grabs the edge of his roof in one hand, and pulls himself up onto the tiles above him.
When he's kneeling on the roof a few seconds later Tsuna finds himself glad that he didn't make too much noise, glad that he didn't draw any attention to Skull.
Because Skull's currently laid out on Tsuna's roof, legs dangling over the side but arms pillowed behind his head, helmet settled at his hip and eyes trained on the night sky and face almost eerily blank.
It is, Tsuna can't help but think, the quietest he's ever seen Skull.
It's honestly a little unsettling.
But, worst of all somehow in Tsuna's opinion, is the fact that Skull looks ,,, tired.
He doesn't even bother to greet Tsuna beyond flicking those vibrant violet eyes in his direction before going back to his star gazing.
To Tsuna, Skull has never looked more like everything he was taught a Cloud is supposed to be than in this moment.
Cold.
Illusive.
Bound to drift away.
The thought sends a shiver of premonition down Tsuna's spine.
Tsuna finds himself laying down on the roof beside him, legs dangling over the edge and arms folded behind his head.
Their elbows are just barely brushing.
And all the while a flickering whisper in the back of Tsuna's mind sings.
"I'm tired," Tsuna finds himself saying some silent drawn-out minutes later.
A beat of silence.
"Yeah," Skull sighs, voice lower and smoother than Tsuna has ever heard it before, "me too."
"I," Tsuna pauses, swallows, feels his Intuition surge and sharpen, "I love my friends and I know they care too but sometimes I just ,,,"
Tsuna trails off because he knows that Skull understands without him ever having to finish.
"Wish you could go to sleep and wake up on the opposite end of the world so that maybe you could get some rest and peace before they inevitably find you again?" Skull offers.
"Yes," The answer practically bursts out of Tsuna.
Another beat of silence.
"I've got an airship," Skull announces.
Tsuna hears it for the offer it is.
"They'd find us," Tsuna points out softly, twisting just a bit so he's looking Skull in the face. "They'd hunt us down and drag us both back."
The smirk Skull sends him in return is far darker and slyer than any expression Tsuna's ever seen on his face before.
"Oh, malysh nebo," Skull practically purrs, "they could certainly try."

TASEA AU
Skull teaches Tsuna how to drive.
So everyone knows he is the world's greatest stuntman (which also makes him the world's best getaway driver), so Skull takes it upon himself to teach Tsuna how to drive.
There is an entire video on the internet from the 'before you even get in the car basics' to an actual car chase with the police. Aperantly, that was the final exam.
There is even a celebration photo at the end when they get away, and a note on how he was going to teach Tsube how to fly a plane next. After he has mastered the motorbike first.
Yes to all of this.

For the tasea AU
There was this one fic I was reading where Lan xichen realizes no, Wei wuxian wasn't stringing his brother along. He doesn't know how lan wangji feels because his brother really never used his words.
Then I thought of Reborn and Hibari who *also* don't use their words. And wondered "who will bell *this* cat?" 😂
Who's going to be the one to point out to Reborn and Hibari that Skull and Tsuna don't know they care about them. Because that requires actual words. Especially when their actions don't speak for them in Civilian TM terms.
Gokudera verbally praises Tsuna daily, Takeshi shows it through his actions and words too, Chrome has plenty of loyalty and even Mukuro has an agreed upon contract with Tsuna that Tsuna can use as a basis of trust in their relationship. Heck, even Xanxus has shown through words and actions that he likes Tsuna (as family, not just the capital Family) and accepts him.
All Tsuna knows is.... that Hibari barely tolerates being around him. As for a rational reason (like Mukuro), Hibari gets to fight strong opponents as long as he's following Tsuna. There's really no grounds for trust or an emotional connection here. It's a wonder they even got flame bonded.
The less said about Skull and Reborn, the better. That's smh even worse than the mess between Tsuna and Hibari.
They really need someone to 'enlighten' them. And enroll them in communication classes.
Honestly a very large part of me wants it to be Verde who finally hits both of them with the clue-by-four.
He's widely considered the most emotionally inept of both groups combined so the idea of him being the one to casually turn to Reborn and Hibari during one of the now mandatory meetings to trade information on Skull and Tsuna's movements all "well it's not as if either of them are aware of your ,,, affections. You cannot expect them to complete the equation to your satisfactions without all of the variables. Also you're both assholes." and then just wander off all 'mic drop' is so fucking hilarious to me.
But I could also see it being one of the kids

I keep thinking about tasea and just. Tsuna getting to see firsthand-behind the bluster and bravado-exactly how much care Skull puts into things
Machinery requires repair, upkeep, oiling and grease and careful, familiar, steady hands (Skull gets a quiet watcher without a single snide word, only silent wonder and hesitant questions on how it works. An extra set of hands to scramble after a bearing trying to escape)
Riding leathers or leather boots or snazzy leather jackets properly taken care of are work in and of their own right (Long discussions on dyes and conditioners, polishes and patching, all over cotton, cloths, and hand labeled brushes [you Do Not mix up the brushes for neutral, black, and purple polishes])
I keep having Thoughts on an easy weekend that stretches out on an empty beach and Tsuna being the first person in literal decades to see the dye in Skull's hair fade under sun and sea spray (later they laugh and Tsuna finds out that the three mobile mirrors in the bathroom are to make redying your own hair less hellish but for the first time in an age Skull actually wants to let someone else help)
And Tsuna gets a front-row seat to just how deeply entwined Oodako is in every aspect of Skull's life.
Their relationship is even deeper than Reborn and Leon's and that is honestly saying A Lot.
Skull is enchanted with having someone else so openly interested in him and the things he likes and does on the regular. And he didn't even have to take a bullet for this one or anything.

I was reading through the TASEA AU and 1) loved it, and 2) couldn't help but want to throw you the idea I got while reading it.
Small backstory for this: my town has a dance hall that, during certain evenings of the week, hosts a pole dancing class, with anyone welcome to come learn.
And I just imagine Tsuna looking at a flier for such a thing, going "why not" and showing Skull. And just, Skull looking at him and agreeing but not before showing Tsuna the basics so he doesn't hurt himself. Cuz Skull is not, unlike some people, going to throw someone into something without at least giving them a solid base to work with.
Tsuna is then given The Best masterclass to end all masterclasses. Because damn if Skull hasn't preformed and perfected such a skill.
When they do go to that class Skull then proceeds to give a demonstration of the most complicated and brain-breaking dance that's probably been banned in 8 countries. All while in heels. Because if Skull is gonna do something like this, he's gonna do it with style dammit.
And if Oodaku and Natsu record it along with Skull's masterclass, put it on YouTube, and have them go viral within hours, well nobody needs to know.
Until it gets through Spanner's filter, because it's viral and the internet will find a way. But Tsuna and Skull don't know that, because they're having fun.
Skull has never been what most would consider technically book-smart. He knows that, accepts that, doesn't really have a problem with it no matter how others try to shame him for it.
Even the various on-the-fly calculations he had to do for his stun shows were more instinctual than truly formula-based.
He's what the circus folk used to always call body smart.
Which means he's good with his hands and his feet.
Mechanics, gymnastics, driving, fighting, and yeah even dancing.
And oh is it a punch to the gut for Reborn when he sees Skull cutting a rug with Tsuna. Because, look, Reborn is Italian okay?
Seeing Skull, that little smirk on his face, wearing those low-slung pants, skin-tight tank top, and dress shoes absolutely destroying a dance floor with a surprisingly cooperative Tsuna?
It's enough to have him ready to eat his hat

Tasea- Skull teaches Tsuna how to drive a car. From the very basics that you learn before you even get into a car, all the way to how to jump over a bridge while driving backwards and being actively shot at. It's one of the few occasions where Tsuna is glad Reborn was so blind to Skull abilities because the thought of the two of them teaching together keeps him up at night.
Skull is just excited to get Tsuna on a bike once he is sure Tsuna can drive anywhere around the world as well as do any maintenance himself.
Oh Skull is absolutely gonna teach Tsuna how to drive the goddamn wheels off of anything he can get his hands on.
And yeah at first Tsuna is kind of freaking out, kind of anxious and scared, because Skull goes FAST but Tsuna has also come to really trust Skull very very quickly.
Plus with all the bullshit he's lived through by now? Extreme driving lessons aren't so bad.
In the end everyone outside of Skull is going to be in for a very very rude surprise the first time they have to get in the car with Tsuna because his default driving style ends up being "like I stole it"

So, TASEA, Do they even know their being hunted?
Also, the longer Reborn and Hibari are hunting the more paranoid they are so they check everything and find the pictures and videos are hidden from them and then break the feral scale
For a good long bit, Tsuna and Skull aren't aware that they're being actively hunted.
They're just vibing, enjoying getting to know each other a bit more and relaxing a bit. Skull is, of course, still practicing his normal evasive tactics which are actually way more effective than anyone had ever realized they were.
And oh nothing stays hidden from Reborn for long. Except, in this case, for Skull and Tsuna themselves.

in regards to Skulls's and Tsuna adventure au
How often are they just enjoying life doing some chaotic nonsense just for tsuna to essentially suddenly go
"The vibes are rancid, we need to hit da bricks"
Five minutes later Reborn and Hibari are at the scene, pulling their hair cursing Hypter Intuition?
Oh so many times. Multiple times during various meals, once when Skull was doing Tsuna's hair, and one time that really pissed them both off because it resulted in them having to haul ass across town with Skull's makeup only half done and Tsuna dripping wet.
Reborn and Hibari both have been giving considerable thought to finding a way to kill Tsuna's Hyper Intuition for a little bit.
Especially since everything they do registers as a Threat in some way, shape, or form so they always set it off.

The thought that Skull could have left at anytime, could have ran and raced across the world to find somewhere to breathe before someone found out, but he instead waited for Tsuna because like calls to like as me feeling all sorts of ways. Just the thought of them fleeing across the world together and being able to just exist without everyone breathing down their necks and taking them for granted is amazing.
Reborn and Hibari would probably have… poor reactions.
Skull's been waiting for the day when he can officially cut ties and run since the moment he realized he was trapped in the ever-tightening net that was the Arcobaleno's hold on him.
Or, to be more accurate, the moment he realized that they were all trapped together and yet nothing was going to change for the better.
They would always be the Strongest, would always be mafia or military born and bred, and Skull would always be ,,, less somehow.
It's not that he hates them. Not really. What Skull feels for the rest of the rainbow he'd found himself locked into is, in so many ways, very far from hate.
It's just ,,,
Everyone has a breaking point.
And Skull got skipped like a rock on a lake right over his at least a decade back.
The only reason he's stuck around so long after finally regaining his body is that Reborn has been in a mood.
By which Skull means he's been even more of a petty, possessive asshole than he normally is.
Skull knows that if he'd done like he wanted to and run the moment the curse broke Reborn would have hunted him down like the demon he not so secretly is.
If for no other reason than insulted pride over something Reborn considered his having the audacity to take off and leave without his permission.
So Skull had waited, had bided his time with the patience that decades with a noose around his neck had taught him. Reborn would relax eventually, would realize that he didn't really care much about what Skull specifically did, and then he'd make his move.
All Skull would have to do is wait and then things would go back to the way they used to be and Skull would have a good six months before anyone started actively looking for him again. Longer if he worked the phones correctly.
Or, well, that had been Skull's general plan right up until he'd dragged ass into Namimori once again and caught sight of Tsuna.
The thing is, Skull likes the little sky. And the truth is that Skull, just like the rest of the Arcobaleno, owes him.
But, when he really breaks it down to the core, when Skull looks at Tsuna he sees someone he understands and feels like might just understand him in turn.
Which, for Skull, has always been a vanishingly rare thing to find indeed.
So when Tsuna joins him on the roof, laying out on the tiles beside him with that all too familiar bruised look in his eyes, Skull finds himself acting without really thinking about it.
Finds himself offering something he didn't really think he'd want to offer to anyone else again.
But for Tsuna? For Tsuna who is an all-encompassing sky with heavy clouds in his eyes?
Well, Skull's willing to share a little bit of his carefully crafted freedom with someone like that.

TASEA AU:
Skull's love language is quality time (like most clouds, if he's willing to be near you for more than a short time, it means something.
Tsuna's love language is acts of service (from himself) and words of affirmation (from others).
This is responsible for a good number of the issues between them and Hibari and Reborn.
This and Tsuna and Skull actually share words of affirmation as a receiving love language too because after so long being told they're both No Good they need to be told outright otherwise.
