Sif valued being known as a strong warrior. She had always wanted to be perceived as strong, brave, honorable and courageous, but if the Goddess of War was to be honest, being separated from her daughter was testing that strength.

It had been eating her alive on the inside being parted from Torunn and wondering if she was okay, alive, and if she knew she was loved and missed dearly. Everyday for the years since, Sif's only goal was to reunite her family again, and it was the hardest battle she had ever faced.

But now...all that hardwork, tears, heartbreak and sweat paid off. Torunn was back home. Immediately, without any hesitation, Sif ran towards her daughter and took her into a tight hug, fearing that if she didn't, the young girl would disappear in an instant. "I'm so glad you're safe...my sweet girl. My dear Torunn! I've missed you each and every day. Don't worry, I won't let anything tear us apart ever again."

@ Marvel! UMM HI! Where’s our Valkyrie, leading the women worthy according to the All-Mother of being shieldmaidens??? I need Tigra to be a shieldmaiden ( i have a verse for that ) // Uh hi, remember in Fearless Defenders, Valkyrie revealed that Tigra & 3 of the othre heroines gathered for that short run were worthy of being shieldmaidens led by Val?

Like I need like a OVER 40 issue comic series, with the first set of comics each issue being dedicated more specifically to each shieldmaiden. And then just girls being all powerful, also a transwoman shieldmaiden too- new character, and just a variety of shieldmaiden girls. And then comics also get to explore more of Asgard and space and the multiple universes / multiverse but it’s main setting has roots in 616...  Like can I please have this? 

I need shieldmaidens and all them are given swords & shields and trained with Val in that art and just HI PLEASE GIVE ME VAL & THE SHIELDMAIDENS going into a lot of battles. Like I need a 100 issues of this. 

Also can I please see William all grown up, his human form looking a litle like Hank maybe, and William meeting Nadia because they are kind of siblings. And William being a snarky cat who also learned to be a science nerd, because Greer raised him to appreciate education and told him science was important cause UM hellp Greer has a bachelor degree in science, in chemistry; so she’d tell him science is important. ALSO let William be told about how he came into the world and also about Greer’s late husband whom he got his namesake from.

Sif can feel her cheeks becoming warm from the affection and mere thought of kindness he is offering her. However, she can't help but feel a little embarrassed too, wondering if he would think differently of her as a warrior. It wasn't in her nature to stay down or get sick, but yet, here she was, and despite all her struggles to fight through it, her body ended up winning in the end.

The Warrior's Three and even her brother, Heimdall, had been checking in on her from time to time, but now with Thor added to the equation, it only made the Goddess of War feel like a burden. "You didn't have to. "I promise I'll be better soon and be ready to return to battle at your side." She replies with a smile. Knowing it would be rude to not eat the food if he's already made it, Sif took a sip of the soup. "Thank you, Thor." She then paused, briefly giving a sad look. "Thor...can I ask you something?"

"I don't need an apology from you." Sif stated, scoffing at the sight of the God of Mischief. She couldn't help but be angry with him. After all, she had good reason to be after the prank he pulled, cutting off her hair and disgracing her not only as a warrior, but as a woman too.

What little bit of trust she had for the younger brother died that day and only continued to remain thin and fragile.

Putting a hand on the hilt of her sword, Sif's eyes remained cautious around him. "I will not have you make a fool of me again, Loki. Whatever it is you want, speak now and tell the truth, or I will strike you down."

She's trying to ignore his presence and pay no mind to him at all, but Sif can't help but have her nerves on end whenever he's around. If anything, she's learned to keep her guard up, especially when Loki is around. After all, she would never let the trickster make a fool of her ever again. "What do you want? Can't you see I have more important matters? If you're plotting something, I promise you will regret it..."

She can't help but be moved by his faith in her and her abilities. While it was the same with the Warrior's Three, who were like brothers to her besides the adoptive brother she had in Heimdall, it was different with Thor.

He had a special place in her heart that seemed to go beyond friendship now, but she would never admit this, not really knowing how to. "Thank you. You are a good friend, Thor, and a formidable warrior. I'm honored to fight alongside you on the battlefield. Know that I trust in you as well. Asgard would not be the same without you."

She is taken back by the question, even pausing to consider it thoughtfully, before answering. "No, but I have been in battles with them, mostly as allies together on the battlefield. I am a friend to humanity." The Goddess of War pauses once more, starting to recognize her. "You are Darcy Lewis, friend of Jane Foster, correct?"

Sif bows, greeting Frigga with respect and warmth. Granted, she's known her since she was a child, but as a warrior, it is only right for her to stick to tradition and honor. "My Queen, I would be honored."

𝚅𝙴𝚁𝚂𝙴 𝙸𝙽𝙵𝙾:

Orphaned as a baby, Sif ended up being adopted by Heimdall’s family, becoming his little sister. While he was blessed with sensory capabilities letting him see nearly all things in the Nine Realms, becoming the Gatekeeper of Asgard, Sif found her interests in the Valkyries, wanting to become a female warrior for Asgard and mark her mark in the world.

As a child, she often played with Thor and Loki. However, as they grew older, Sif started to develop feelings for the eldest prince, especially after Thor voiced support in the idea of her becoming a warrior when everyone else seemed to scoff at the idea.

Working hard and training her way up the ranks, Sif eventually became known as the Goddess of War and fulfilled her dream, protecting Asgard and the Nine Realms from all attacks. She is someone not to be underestimated.
