The movie 'O My Kadavule' released in Tamil two years ago was well received by the audience there. Aswath Marimuthu directed the movie starring Ashok Selvan as the hero. Vijay Sethupathi as Modern God. Now the same movie has been remade in Telugu with the name 'Ori Devava'. Marimuthu, who made the original, also produced this movie. Venkatesh playing the character of God in this movie starring Vishvak Sen has aroused the interest of the audience before the release. How about 'Ori Devava' produced by PVP film...

Story:-

Arjun (Vishwak Sen), Anu (Mithila Parker) and Mani (Venkatesh Kakumanu) who studied together are close friends since childhood. Friendship blossoms between them without any hesitation. Compared to the other two, Arjun is week in studies. That's why when friends graduate, he writes supplementary and pretends to have passed engineering. Her father (Muralisharma) decides to marry Anu who is motherless. Anu has love feelings for Arjun. That's why "Shall we get married?" says "We are best friends. Why don't we get married?" Arjun laughs. But seeing no reason to say no to her, he finally agrees to marry her. Both will get married.

If it is cut.. After a year both of them go to the family court for divorce. A person in that court (Rahul Ramakrishna) tells Arjun that divorce is not granted to both of them. He also gives them a visiting card that will work if they come to their teacher. As he said, the events took place there and the eyes fell back. The judge says that the case will be heard again at 4 pm. Arjun goes to the love court according to the address given by the stranger. There he meets Modern God (Venkatesh). He says he will give you second chance in life, after that it is up to you. As he said, the scene goes back to the scene where Anu proposed to him before the wedding. What did Arjun do then? How did he use the second chance that came his way? What has life taught him? What experiences did the acquaintance of Meera, who was two years his senior, give him? In the rest of the story, we will see the extent of the relationship with Anu.

The movie 'Ori Devava', which has an interesting point about what to do if you get a second chance in life, can be watched comfortably. Leaving aside the small mistakes, we come out of the theater with the feeling that we have seen a good movie with good characterizations, impressive dialogues and pleasing performances.

Besides establishing himself as a bankable hero in Telugu cinema, Nani turned into a producer in 2013 with the heist-comedy ‘D for Dopidi’. After five years, the 36-year-old actor established his own production house ‘Wall Poster Cinema’ by collaborating with popular costume designer Prashanti Tipirneni who has worked for the Baahubali franchise. Besides garnering high critical acclaim and decent commercial reception, their maiden project ‘Awe’ has won the National Award for the Best Special Effects and Best Make-up.

Cut to the present, they are coming up to enthral the Telugu audience with the upcoming film HIT. Starring Vishwak Sen as the protagonist and Ruhani Sharma as his leading lady, the investigative thriller is directed by debutant Sailesh Kolanu. With the riveting promos already hitting the bull’s eye, the film is slated for a release on February 28 amid good expectations. 02/6Investigative Thriller genre

No genre illustrates the evolution of world cinema better than crime film. Criminality and violence make for an inherently compelling cinematic material and that’s why both are featured prominently in many of the greatest films across the globe. Going by the promos of HIT, Vishwak Sen will be seen as an investigative cop who suffers from PTSD. The film deals with the missing of a young girl (Preeti) on the highway under mysterious circumstances. The Homicide Intervention Team comes into action and officer Vikram (Vishwak Sen) is assigned to conduct the investigation.

Perhaps, for the first time in Tollywood, the makers of Hit have released a 5-minute scene from the film before the release itself. Titled as the Sneak Peek, the clip showcased how a 30-year-old cop named Vikram Rudraraju (Vishwak) identifies a buried corpse in a large forest area through the growth of wild shrubs. Along with the intriguing scene, the promos also struck the right chord with the netizens. With a load of twists and turns in the proceedings, the suspense factor is maintained throughout the duration and the pulsating background score gives a needed boost to the narration.

Besides being a commercial star, Nani has the knack of picking interesting subjects as a producer. Admitting that Telugu cinema hasn’t really explored the thriller genre, the 36-year-old actor told a leading portal “After watching the final copy, I thought that if I hadn’t produced the film, I would have felt guilty.” Though he loved the script, Nani stated that he didn’t want to play the lead role as his presence might bring different expectations on the genre film and hamper its originality.

Vishwak Sen made his celluloid debut with Vellipomakey, a small critically applauded film which didn’t make much noise at the box office. After garnering attention with an interesting role in Tharun Bhascker’s buddy comedy Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi, the young actor grabbed several eyeballs with a rebellious role in his maiden directorial ‘Falaknuma Das’, the Telugu remake of Angamaly Diaries. For Sailesh Kolanu’s Hit, Vishwak shot for almost 50 days and revealed that a considerable portion of the film unfolds in rains at a jungle. Admitting that the intense episode shot on the last day of shoot took a huge emotional and physical toll on him, he said that he lost his voice for almost a week.

Sailesh Kolanu is an associate professor in medicine at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). As his father worked as a production manager with legendary filmmaker Kodi Ramakrishna, the youngster was passionate about films from childhood itself. Impressed with his writing style and short stories, Nani agreed to bankroll the HIT. While the music of the crime-thriller is composed by Vivek Sagar, S Manikandan has handled the camera and Garry BH, known for editing thrillers such as Kshanam and Goodachari, is the editor.
