Have decided to finally come out and accept that I am continentalknittingphobic 😔 I think people who knit continental should not be allowed to talk to me about knitting unless proven trustworthy first 😔

#this is only 70% a joke and im not gonna analyze what that says about me #but im done bros like if i have one more continental knitter who knits slower than me claim continental is exponentially faster than english #like we all know i hate the english as well do not get it twisted i am also anglophobic but it is worse to call it american style 😔 #but anyway continental knitters act like englishers always make three huge motions to make a single stitch #when i think a large portion of us make one flick of the index finger?? like most englishers dont take their hands off the needles?? #whereas continental is anathema to my hand muscles and i end up dropping the stitch half the time #like that shit is not as universally inuitive as they think even for me someone who started with crochet #i know i post almost this exact rant like every 4 months but ugh i just get kind of exhausted #it isnt hard to just let people knit how their hands wanna knit and admit that all ways of knitting are equal #rip portuguese knitters no one even talks about y'all even tho u prob actually do have the best technique if we are ranking #disgruntled octopus #stitknitcro #actually now that i say it maybe i will fuck around and start knitting portugues/peruvian style
