Matthew Clairmont, in the space of a minute on screen, turns from a car door opening fossil/gentleman/throwback (depending on your POV!)  ... 

…. into an open your own bloody door then feminist.  Actually - I’m being serious. It was a small thing but it showed that Matthew listened to and respected Diana’s POV - and I liked that.

A Discovery of Witches Season 1 rewatch continues - Episode 7.    Another little sign of respect and care for Diana.  Re-reading the books (again)  it was always there in the dialogue but somehow it comes across more when you see Matthew Goode’s nuanced portrayal of this vamp’.

ADOW Season 1 Rewatch - The magic of TV.  Looks pretty doesn’t it.   Here it is in daylight. 

They didn’t use New College Boathouse coz frankly it looks a bit shit - 

They used Lady Margaret Hall Collage Boat House instead. 

If you visit - watch out for the goose poo everywhere.  They must have swept the whole area to get rid of it before filming!
