We were blessed with another fantastic weekend of adventure walking the iconic #sixfoottrack in the beautiful Blue Mountains. As usual, we had a wonderful team who not only enjoyed a few laughs, but who also pulled together and got the job done over the two days, none more so than the last section up through the breathtaking Devil's Hole to reach the top of the Blue Mountains escarpment on the last day. What another amazing weekend of adventure through the iconic Six Foot Track in the beautiful Blue Mountains. We shared this adventure experience with another awesome team, so there were plenty of laughs over the weekend and we made some new friends. Because the last section is still closed from Megalong to Explorers Tree, we ended up making our way up the lesser-known and beautiful Devils Hole. The last section is challenging but the team got the job done and were rewarded with a sense of achievement in completing this renowned track. Adventure sometimes means getting out of your comfort zone and challenging yourself because that is where the magic of personal growth and self-confidence happens. We have people who want to go on and complete Kilimanjaro, Kokoda, Everest Base Camp, Overland Track etc. and why stop there, but this is where it sometimes all starts in setting new adventure goals and challenges. What another amazing weekend of adventure on our weekend Six Foot Track adventure with an awesome and fun crew. We had some showers on and off throughout the day, but it didn’t damper the spirts and actually added to the mountain and adventure ambience. The river crossings were exciting given the creeks were up and some nice water flow, but that added to the adventure experience. Unfortunately we had to cut a little short on day 2 because of the landslide at Nellies Glen, but no one was disappointed because it was a fun and challenging weekend with some other adventure challenges and experiences. We are super exciting to be giving these Hoka One Anacapa a run. On face value they are super light and feel super comfy with the much thicker sole. We will give them a good run and then put a review of them on our website. We are lucky we get to put a lot of gear through its paces with our adventure activities, so we will be doing more independent and honest gear reviews moving forward. Having comfortable, and reliable equipment makes an adventure far more comfortable and enjoyable. After some potential severe weather in coming early morning that was later cancelled, it turned out to be an nice community and training walk through Bouddi National Park with the adventure crew. The weather luckily held out.🙏 Hopefully we will get another community walk away over the coming month. Our main commercial adventure season kicks off for us at the end of January as we head off to the Overland Track and then the Three Capes Track mid February.
