So, my music consists, albeit in a very primitive but nonetheless eminently listenable and exciting if unpolished form, of equal and blended parts of Jazz, Blues, Western Swing, Swing/Swing-Blues, Gypsy-Jazz, Bebop, Jump-Blues, Boogie-Woogie, Country-Jazz, Rockabilly, Rock And Roll, Cool Jazz, Hard Bop, Country, Folk, Funk, Soul, Soul-Jazz, Funk-Jazz, Classical, Arabic/Turkish/Greek/Hungarian/Egyptian/Balkan/Indian/Hawaiian/Russian, Blues-Rock, Country-Rock, Jazz-Rock, Progressive Rock, Bluegrass, Mountain music/Old Time, Ragtime, Dixieland, Early Music, etc. Mostly, though it is a primitive blend, if and when it is even blend at all, that is, of the various musics comprehending the period of roughly 1922-1972 or so, but I have often strayed beyond even those illimitable boundaries. Lastly, though I never purposed that this should be my goal or the plan, purpose and meaning of my music, it (my music) has come to be about discovering, sharing in, purveying and demonstrating the inherent equality, connectivity and all-inclusiveness, the all-embracingness and the encompassment of all music. How closely related and similar yet different it all really is. It is also about fun, having fun: that is one of the key purposes of my music. And, in blending all manner of (seemingly) totally disparate musics together, I believe that I have also created a number of wholly new and original genres and/or subgenres of music.
