i think it’s sweet, but also so telling the differences in lamon’s relationship with robin and then akina ( @wellfell​ ) just based on the nicknames they gave him:

robin calls him ‘lam’ which sounds like lamb aka while there is a sense of affection, she ultimately saw him as someone docile, someone she could manipulate and use for her own benefit.

akina, on the other hand, call(ed) him ‘lemon’ which rings true to his actual personality aka a grump, but also lemons are used in lots of food, so someone who is practical and distinct in his own way.
