Hello there! So 1.) I can't get over how much I love your art!!! 2.) I notice that all of them seem to be pen and paper art. Do you have any specific weapons (drawing tool) that you use, or do you just kinda go 'pen, bwahahaha!' :3.) How in the world do you take such clear pictures of your art? When I take pictures of paper, it always comes out with a yellow tinge. Sorry for the interrogate! ❤

2) Usually it's just "Pen, bwahaha!!!", though I really really prefer ballpoint pen, and then I really like using the ErichKrause R-301 classic model (1.0), bc I found the inkflow really smooth and suitable for both an undersketch and lineart, and the pen itself is pretty cheap so I'm not afraid to use up a few of them and do complex art

:3) Gotta say thanks partially to a decent camera, but even with that most pictures, even with good light, look like this:

So after I make sure I have good lighting and take a few shots of each drawing, I choose the best quality and take them to the editor!

My phone editor is far from good, it is actually very, very basic, so all i can do is adjust contrast (up), brightness(up), and not a good quantity of light(up?)/shade.

Additionally, I can lessen the color, since the yellows/blues of the paper, reds and blues of the pen colors and shine can mess with the atmosphere. After that I'm done!

Depending on the picture I aim for white backrounds while losing as little detail as possible, or keeping all of the detail and keeping the picture a bit dark. You can also spot filters here and there!

Conclusion:

Cheap pens best pens, lighting (a lot of light, little shine in the art - makes for high quality) > contrast in the original pic, find your approach to the photo editors you have (they are your friends, even tho occasionally Stupid Bitch friends), go wild with effects, nobody's stopping u - there's no judgement for them on Tunglr dot com or fandom in itself))
