#song of the day #not a great day! but all days end and I did make so much good food today #an egg foo young sort of thing that tasted so much like if you egged a blooming onion and put little pork chunks in #and then later taco beef and refried beans and chipotle rice and it was as always a hideous mash all together but it tasted /amazing/ #and we watched the end of season two of Marvel's What If and I gotta say it was bangin. it was bitchin. #the season as a whole had some blah notes but the last three episodes rocked it was very very fun I was so happy to see it #and this song feels good to sing. it's kind of hard to describe I don't know if I'd call it fun necessarily? but it's neat and enjoyable #I sing it in the back of my throat kind of and it feels odd in a good way and I really like the pacing and build of the sound #'when it feels more like a war / and I've been choosin sides just like any other guy #what did you want it for? / god I hope I get a gift bag / a little of my faith back #but I'd never ask you / did you get what you wanted / or at least did you want what you got' #and somewhat unusually that's not a verse or a chorus but rather the end of the one moving into the other #they fit together very well and I like to sing it
