#i still have chapter notes and skeletal plans somewhere #an entire chapter roughly jotted down on legal notepad while i was stuck in a rainstorm during a shift #that little small deviantart community i found was really something special #a friend even commissioned me the little garrusplz smiley face with a santa hat as a surprise #did fic swaps with each other's main ships for presents just ugh it was nice and lovely and i think of them so so fondly #then mass effect 3 came out of nowhere with the steel chair and obliterated me #and i haven't written anything other than i think one small vignette piece since then #pour one out for 'home' you actually weren't too bad and had potential despite me being young and inexperienced when i started #i cringe thinking about anything i might have written in comments or my journal on there so i'll stick to being nostalgic for the friends #look at that tag essay go yeah baby
