hi hello I come bearing Fall Out Boy concert highlights!!
they were all very handsome as is to be expected
they played three Take This To Your Grave songs in a row which made my brother very happy
they played Headfirst Slide which made ME very happy <3 I think the sound I made when it started was not a human sound
Pete stopped the show right before a song real quick to break up a fight in the pit, and he said "the last thing you wanna do is go home and brag that you got into a fight at a fucking Fall Out Boy show. not even during Bring Me the Horizon"
Oli Sykes of Bring Me the Horizon was trying to amp up the energy of the pit during their set djskfnd he did want violence
Patrick's dad was in the audience so Patrick played a song his dad wrote back in the sixties
Patrick sounds Very Good when he sings Elton John's part in Save Rock and Roll
they talked about trying to bring some old school magic back to this show and Pete compared it to bringing out Christmas lights at the start of the season and half the lights don't work anymore. then they played Bang the Doldrums and it fucked <3
I was vaaaaguely aware of what was going on with the Magic 8 Ball thing beforehand? but I didn't fully understand it sjskfnd they have a little segment with a magic 8 ball up on a screen above the stage and ask it a question to determine what they play next. Pete first asked it "should we bring a member of the Denver Nuggets onstage?" and the answer was "concentrate hard and ask again" djakdj so no Nuggets. then he asked "should we bring back an old song we haven't played in a long time?" and the answer was yes so they did <3 I could not name it off the top of my head unfortunately but. I'm sure someone knows-
Pete did a little disappearing trick and I genuinely did not know where he went for a solid minute. I could see him on the screen but I had no idea where he WAS
Heaven, Iowa was TIGHT live. so was Love From the Other Side. such good songs to experience in an amphitheater
there was a big ol dog head onstage for a bit <3 it sang with Patrick during This Ain't a Scene and Pete shoved his head in its mouth
they didn't play So Much (for) Stardust but after the show there was an instrumental remix of it playing over the speakers
good show <3
ohhhh this is DELICIOUS, thank u so much for this food. so happy u got ur headfirst slide rights <3 god, the thought of hearing love from the other side and heaven, iowa live makes me explode, in real life even. and this is their second time playing doldrums live on this tour? after having not played it live before? my rights, really and truly. and i heard abt patrick playing his dad's song, that's the sweetest fucking thing ever, actually.
i'm glad u had a very pleasant fall out boy <3

In this week’s PEOPLE cover story, Mariah Carey reveals for the first time her battle with bipolar disorder. Although she was first diagnosed in 2001 (when she was hospitalized for a physical and mental breakdown), “I didn’t want to believe it,” the superstar singer-songwriter tells PEOPLE editor in chief Jess Cagle. Carey says she finally sought treatment recently after “the hardest couple of years I’ve been through” — years of professional upheaval, an E! reality show and romantic drama. “Until recently I lived in denial and isolation and in constant fear someone would expose me,” she says. “It was too heavy a burden to carry and I simply couldn’t do that anymore. I sought and received treatment, I put positive people around me and I got back to doing what I love — writing songs and making music.” One of the most successful singers of all time, with 18 No. 1 hits and more than 200 million records sold, Carey spent many of her years in the spotlight suffering in silence. https://www.msn.com/en-us/music/celebrity/mariah-carey-my-battle-with-bipolar-disorder/ar-AAvKJX9

Instead of accepting the award herself, she sent on stage a man by the name of Jesse, a homeless 22-year-old that Cyrus met at My Friend’s Place, an organization that helps homeless youth find shelter. His acceptance speech encouraged musicians to learn more about homeless youth in Los Angeles and what they can do to help at Cyrus’s Facebook page 29. Cyrus then launched a Prizeo campaign to raise funds for the charity My Friend’s Place, an organization in Los Angeles that helps homeless people from the ages of 12 to 25 find housing, jobs, health care and schooling. Those who made donations were automatically entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to meet Cyrus on her Bangerz Tour in Rio de Janeiro that September.
Emma Watson 1. Watson has promoted education for girls, visiting Bangladesh and Zambia to do so. 2. In July 2014, she was appointed as a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador. (For Emma fans, I haven’t added any of the sub tasks other celebrities did as a spokesperson for something so I won’t for Emma either). It was mostly speeches btw (I searched outside wikipedia to find other things she did, which I haven’t for the other celebs here, so if the ones below aren’t detailed it’s because I didn’t have Wikipedia’s extra info) Other charities 3. Shelter box 4. Small step project 5. Great Ormond children’s hospital 6. Oxfam 7. Sense 8. Book club 9. Visited Indian slums
Emma’s basically on the mid to lower end when it comes to the amount of charity work she’s done. How much the less famous, less rich actors would do.
Wow what a list!

1. Dr. Ruth has an urgent message for America’s parents. The legendary sex expert called us up over the weekend because she wanted The Post to help her tell moms and dads to stop arguing in front of their children during the COVID-19 crisis — because she’s worried about kids’ anxiety.
“I want to make sure parents know if they have disagreements, how frightened children can be. Children can be very afraid that their parents are going to divorce.” The 91-year-old — who was a kindergarten teacher before, as she put it, “started talking about orgasm and erections” — said that kids are already anxious because “they’ve never been in a situation where the schools are closed and they can’t go to the playground.”
“If you have to argue, set your alarm for 1 a.m. and argue then,” she said, quipping, “Anyway, even if you want to get a divorce, you can’t — the courts are all closed.”
2. Queen Elizabeth II made a historic televised address on Sunday — invoking her nation’s war-time spirit in the battle against the coronavirus pandemic.
“I am speaking to you at what I know is an increasingly challenging time,’’ the 93-year-old UK monarch said in only the fifth time she has addressed her subjects outside of her annual Christmas speech. “A time of disruption in the life of our country. A disruption that has brought grief to some, financial difficulties to many and enormous changes to the daily lives of us all.”
The Queen, dressed in green, made a direct comparison to her war-time address in 1940 as then-Princess Elizabeth comforting families devastated early in World War II.
“It reminds me of the very broadcast I made, in 1940, helped by my sister,” she said, with a black and white photograph showing her at the time with sister Princess Margaret.
“We as children spoke from here at Windsor to children who had been evacuated from their homes and sent away for their own safety.
“Today, once again, many will feel a painful sense of separation from their loved ones,” she said of strict lockdowns enforced in the UK.
“But now, as then, we know, deep down, that it is the right thing to do.”
She maintained that — just like with a war — her nation must “remain united and resolute then we will overcome it.”
“I hope in the years to come everyone will be able to take pride in how they responded to this challenge,” she said of the fight against the contagion.
“And those who come after us will say that the Britons of this generation were as strong as any.
“That the attributes of self-discipline, of quiet, good-humored resolve, and of fellow feeling, still characterize this country,” she said in the address that aired at 3 p.m. New York time.
“The pride in who we are is not part of our past. It defines our present and our future.”
She stressed that the war on the pandemic was “different” in that it was not one the UK was facing alone.
“This time we join with all nations across the globe in a common endeavor, using the great advances of science and our instinctive compassion to heal. We will succeed — and that success will belong to every one of us,” she insisted.
She said that “although self-isolating may be hard” it also “presents an opportunity to slow down, pause and reflect in prayer or meditation.”
The Queen made another nod to the war by referring to one of its most famous songs, “We’ll Meet Again” by Vera Lynn.
“We should take comfort that while we may have more still to endure, better days will return: we will be with our friends again; we will be with our families again; we will meet again.
“But for now, I send my thanks and warmest good wishes to you all,” she said.
The queen usually only broadcasts to the nation with her annual televised Christmas Day message.
The last time she broke that tradition was in 2012 following celebrations to mark her 60th year as queen. That came a decade after the preceding broadcast, which followed the death of her mother, the Queen Mother, in 2002 when she thanked Britons for their messages of condolence.
She also gave an address at the start of the Gulf War in 1991, and most famously, delivered a somber live broadcast after the death of her daughter-in-law, Princess Diana, in a Paris car crash in 1997 amid a national outpouring of grief and criticism of the royal family’s response.
3. The “Rocket Man” singer announced Saturday that his Elton John Aids Foundation has launched a $1 million COVID-19 emergency fund to protect individuals with HIV.
“For almost 30 years my foundation has prioritized the most vulnerable people to HIV, to end the AIDS epidemic and we’re committed to this during the COVID-19 crisis too,” John said in a video posted on Twitter.
He noted that “distributing medicine, testing and preventive treatment is not as simple as it was a few weeks ago,” and the emergency fund is meant to help.“Our new COVID-19 emergency fund will help frontline partners to prepare for and respond to the pandemic and its effects on HIV prevention and care for the most marginalized communities,” he explained. “We’re with you, we’re thinking of you, we will not leave anyone behind.”
Additional details on the fund can be found here.Earlier this week, John hosted a coronavirus relief concert called “Fox Presents the iHeart Living Room Concert for America.” The star-studded March 29 event featured Billie Eilish, Mariah Carey and Alicia Keys performing from their homes. Other performers included Tim McGraw, the Backstreet Boys, Sam Smith, Dave Grohl, Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes. The event raised more than $10 million for the fight against coronavirus.
4. Woody Allen’s controversial memoir “Apropos of Nothing” has at least one major admirer: Larry David. In a recent interview published by The New York Times, the “Seinfeld” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm” creator shared some praise for Allen’s memoir, which was surprise released on March 24 courtesy of Arcade Publishing. David said, “Yeah, it’s pretty great, it’s a fantastic book, so funny. You feel like you’re in the room with him and yeah, it’s just a great book and it’s hard to walk away after reading that book thinking that this guy did anything wrong.”
Arcade touts Allen’s memoir as “a candid and comprehensive personal account by Woody Allen of his life, ranging from his childhood in Brooklyn through his acclaimed career in film, theater, television, print and standup comedy, as well as exploring his relationships with family and friends.” Allen uses the memoir to once again deny allegations of child molestation made against him by his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow. The director writes the allegation was a result of Mia Farrow’s “Ahab-like quest” for revenge against him.
5. Iowa boy Dimitri Mitchell, 18, tested positive for the coronavirus March 17.
'I was bedridden all day and I felt totally drained ... my eyes wouldn't stop watering, I had the worst headache I've ever experienced' he told GMA. He added he was 105 degrees and 'my cough was just getting worse and worse.
'Mitchell has no underlying health conditions but said: 'It's the most sick I've ever been and I told my mom I felt like I was hit by a truck.'
He was sent home twice from the hospital because he was under 60 and didn't qualify for a test but when he returned days later, he took one and tested positive. The teen thinks he may have contracted it at his grocery store job and says he was extra careful by regularly washing his hands. He admitted: 'I still never thought that I would get it -- never in a million years.'
