you know i dont think i will ever leave miraculous purely because it's the only show that consistently remedies its red flags

#ml #like you remember in shadowhunters when malec have that awkward lead into a sex scene #and a bunch of people pointed out that consent isnt rly established in that scene #and then next season they had a flashback where they showed what happened immediately after the scene cut off to show consent *being* #established #like that sort of ability to look back on previous episodes and build on it productively. but constantly #adrien is the biggest example of this bc his s1 self is awful #chloe is the second biggest example of this bc it looks like theyre gonna do the bully redemption trope initially but then they dont #n another major example is the love triangle stuff. with luka and kagami being sources of jealousy but also getting enough agency #that they get to be angry when mari and adrien are messing them around #and they avoid the 'girls fight over a guy' trope and vice versa #like. 🤷🏼‍♂️ #idk what else to say #theyre not the best writers by any means but while other writers dig themselves into holes these writers dig themselves out #so i rate them
