Look, I get that the shounen vs shoujo and “people hate things aimed at girls“ is and has been an issue for like....decades

but I don’t know how to tell you that the answer to “shounen but the characters are all women“ is NOT whatever magical girl show you have in mind

#this is about the previous post #people are getting so catty in the reblogs #telling each other to ''cope and seethe'' #like i get it. you're defensive over shoujo #but. and i dont know a better way to say this. you have to understand that our interests are different #if i wanted shoujo then id go looking for it #and i wouldnt be lamenting the status of women in shounen manga/anime #it's also just....embarassing....these recommendations.... #there's no nice way to say this next part #but i dont want cute girls in frilly dresses and bright colors fighting monsters #i want rough women fist fighting one another in jeans and tshirt while yelling about being each others only friend #honestly i will never be fulfilled until i see butch women everywhere #that's MY dream
