#tl;dr it's really shitty and depressingly ironic that the person compiling all the BA narratives is the same person implicated in #being just as shitty in her own company. and there's no way RA isn't going to release the remaining episodes #seeing as how they are probably the most ambitious and popular ones since the long distance series several years ago #and it would be a shame to not hear the rest of the ex-BA employees interviewed and hear their voices and stories #it will be very interesting to see what happens going forward but my personal prediction is that they're going to be kind of shitty #and prop up emmanuel as like their token black voice who's also relatively new to the team and a little younger than their old guard #maybe it's selfish for me to still want to hear the resolution to the BA miniseries even knowing what's been going on at gimlet #and how shitty they are. but i do hope we get (a) acknowledgment of what happened on the podcast itself and not just on twitter or some shit #and (b) we get to hear the voices of the people who have already put in the time to tell their stories and relive their experience at BA #(lmao god if this is the tl;dr you don't want to see my original texts) #it's really interesting though having followed gimlet for so many years they've had a diversity problem from the start #not to mention i always had a bad feeling about the spotify acquisition #ANYWAY #cool story charlotte
