My cousin doesn’t like BSD and I find it so funny bc every thing he went ‘I don’t really like this’ I went ‘yeah I can see why, I simply don’t care’

#it’s a skill issue #like yes the stakes are very high especially in the never seasons where the entire world is at stake #bc like okay I don’t really care that much #so the things I like make up plenty for the things I’m kinda neutral about #but Christmas dinner table isn’t the place where I really wanna start going on about all the things I like about it #a lot of it is about the concept as well #the author/ability thing #the Mets things you can get out of that #the way the world is build to look like ours but then there’s a whole world history of differences you only find out sporadically #the characters and their way of think and how their past made them what they are today #and the parallels between some of the caharcters #like sure the plot is nice and I’m curious about stuff but the characters are my main drive force #especially chuuya! #but if you haven’t read the light novels (or to an extend the manga) I can see how some of the cooler things are left out #the entirety of stormbrjnger is so fucking cool #anyway it’s funny but it mostly just comes down to taste I think #I don’t take some of the things that seriously so I don’t mind and the rest is so cool #me #I got one of the light novels for Christmas so that was great (which we also laughed about)
