Infected (Salim Othman x Fem!Reader x Jason Kolchek)

(Here is the rewrite for the infected oneshot I posted before)

Y/N couldn't even describe the pain she was in as she took each step, trying to follow the others throughout the cavern.

What was she going to tell Jason and Salim?

She loved them both so much, but she wasn't sure she was going to make it out alive to even tell them how she felt.

The pain worsened even more than she thought it could, she didn't even realize that she stopped, but the others noticed.

"Y/N?" She heard Rachel ask in concern as she felt a hand on her shoulder.

"Y/N, are you alright?" She heard her ask again, but it started to become muffled as pain started up in her neck as something moved around in her neck, her knees buckling as she screamed in pain.

"Y/N!" She heard Jason and Salim shout as two pairs of arms caught her.

"Y/N! No no no..." Salim exclaimed as he held her face in his hands as Jason held onto her hands.

"Shit, she's infected, we gotta put her down..." Nick mumbled as he aimed his gun at Y/N.

"Nick don't! Put down the gun!" Rachel snapped as Eric pushed the gun down.

"There has to be a way to save her..." Jason begged as he felt tears in his eyes. He wasn't one to show any emotions, but about to lose the woman he loved, he couldn't hold it back.

Salim was also scared.

He held Y/N close to him as she violently thrashed around in pain.

After his wife left him, he thought he would never find love again. But when he met Y/N, all he wanted was to protect her from any harm.

That's when a thought came to his mind.

Looking over to one of the cocoons, Salim remembered that man that he and Jason found earlier.

The man should have been dead, but he was alive, because of the fluid in the cocoon.

"Jason, the cocoons." Salim gestured towards the cocoons, hoping that he knew exactly what he was talking about.

Jason looked confused for a moment before a smile spread across his face.

"Shit... your right!" Jason exclaimed as the others looked at the two confused.

"What are you talking about?" Eric asked.

"The cocoons, we can put her in a cocoon until we come back with help!" Salim replied as he picked Y/N up with Jason following behind.

"What do you mean? How is putting her in that going to help her?" Rachel joined in as the two hurried to a nearby cocoon and slowly started to lower Y/N into it.

"We found a man who was in one of those cocoons, he should have been dead long ago but he was still alive. It can slow the process and transformation for Y/N." Jason explained as he and Salim held Y/N's hands until she was completely emerged.

Eric, Rachel, and Nick could only watch in silence as the two men promise to save her.

As long as it can give them time to get help and get back to Y/N, then it was worth a try.

"I don't care, all I need to know is if you found Y/N." Jason growled as he glared at the scientist infront of him.

"We have. When we took her out of the cocoon, she vomited the parasite up, she was in critical condition when they contacted us. They should be here with her soon."

After that, Jason saw a stretcher wheeled by, and his heart broke when he saw Y/N on it, her skin was very pale, she was covered in dried blood and the fluid that was in the cocoons. Her body was shaking violently as she coughed out blood.

As the stretcher rolled by the other rooms where the others were being interviewed, Salim saw her and tried to go to her side, but was stopped by the scientists.

"Let me go, I need to see her!" He cried out as he struggled in their grasp.

"Stop struggling, when she is taken care of and is better, you can see her. But right now we still have questions." The man said as he had Salim sit back down

Salim glared at the man, but listened so he could see Y/N later.

The first thing Y/N noticed when she started to wake up was the sound of beeping.

Slowly opening her eyes, she saw that she was in a hospital room, and she looked over to her left to see a heart monitor along with an iv that was in her arm.

She felt relief knowing that she was out of the temple, but what about the others?

Did they escape as well?

Then she heard a soft snore to her right.

Looking over, she felt tears form when she saw Jason and Salim sitting next to eachother, both asleep.

The two were wearing more casual clothes than what they wore back at the temple.

Salim was wearing a pair of jeans with a red flannel and a white tshirt while Jason wore a pair of jeans with a light blue tshirt.

Y/N tried to speak but her throat felt scratchy, causing her to have a coughing fit.

Salim woke up at the noise and his eyes widened.

"Y/N!" He exclaimed as he rushed to her side, Jason waking up after him and grabbing some water for Y/N.

"Here N/N..." Jason held the cup of water to her mouth and helped her drink.

"Thank god your alright N/N, we were very worried about you." Jason said as he set the cup down on the side table and gently grabbed her hand.

"Jason... Salim..." she mumbled as she gave them a smile.

"We were so worried we lost you..." Salim began, but Y/N cut him off.

"You both aren't losing me that easily. I love you both too much to leave you."

Hearing that made Salim and Jason smile.

Salim gently caressed her cheek before locking his lips to hers in a passionate kiss.

After a moment, Salim pulled away for Y/N to be kissed by Jason with just as much passion.

"We love you too." Jason whispered against her lips before he and Salim cuddled with her, happy that Y/N was finally safe and with them again.
